Located in the perfect position mid-way between St Antoni de Calonge and Palamos and a stones throw from the sea with gorgeous views of the bay from your balcony this is one of the best hotels on the Costa Brava. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and at home in the Hotel Rosamar. The check-in was really efficient, the food available at the hotel is delicious and the staff are all friendly and obliging. Our booking included parking which is very convenient and shady, generally a must in holiday season (June/July/August). The car park is only a short walk from the hotel. We had two double rooms one for ourselves and one for two teens. The rooms are large and comfortable. A coffee machine in the room would be a bonus but the inclusion of a fridge in every room is handy. As the weather was unseasonable during our stay we didn't try out the pool facilities. There is both an indoor and outdoor pool. We really liked the decor which is very typical of the area and the comfy seating on the sea facing patio is wonderful for relaxing in the evenings. Hotel Rosamar is a perfect base from which to explore the nearby fishing town of Palamos by foot or bicycle, and for short trips around this beautiful part of Spain. Some of the places in easy reach include Pals, Tamariu, Calella de Palafrugell Barcelona and the local towns of Platja D'Aro and Palamos itself. We were having some alternative accommodation difficulties when we found the Hotel Rosamar and we would particularly like to thank you for helping rescue our holiday. We hope to be back.

Nice hotel, very clean and nice room. Friendly and helpful people working there. Very well situated across the street from the beach. I certainly recommend this place. Breakfast buffet was good. They also have some very nice pool and nice backyard
