Hotel di San Javier

Reservamos 7 noches a finales de agosto. La verdad que la experiencia ha sido buenísima. Una habitación amplia, limpia, cómoda, con excelentes vistas a la piscina y el Mar Menor. Cogimos Pensión Completa y nos sorprendió gratamente tanto por su variedad, como por el precio de las bebidas. Las piscinas que tienen son excelentes, con unas temperaturas que parecen climatizadas, camas balinesas gratuitas y dos jacuzzis a pie de piscinas también gratuitos. Tienes tanto el mar menor como el Mediterráneo q escasos 100 metros y con una playa enorme, sin aglomeraciones. El único pero que le pondría, sería que 15 euros/día de parking me parece excesivo.

Estuvimos dos noches el 8 y 9 de octubre. No arreglaron la habitación a pesar de haberlo solicitado por la tarde, pues cuando llegamos después de comer estaba sin arreglar. Al salir para ir al balneario, encontramos a la limpiadora y se lo dijimos y al volver nada de nada. Ni limpiar, ni toallas, ni albornoces... Nada. Ni caso. Una pena porque todo lo demás fue estupendo: desayuno, la habitación, vistas, el recinto, el balneario, las preciosas plantas ...

First time at this hotel but have used many hotels over the years in this resort as a four-star hotel I would rate it on the lower four stars staff was a little hit and miss at times left standing for nearly ten minutes with ice creams in my hand? and one evening i was the second person at the bar the barman knew I was waiting but managed to serve five customers then walked away i had to call him back to request bar service, Pool area was nice and clean with clean fresh towels and always sun loungers empty pool was the best outdoor pool it was like a bath ( only open this year July August ) could have stayed in it all day long the lifeguard spent a lot of time on his mobile which is a concern when you have small children in and around the pool area. the kid's entertainment lady? well, she may as well have not been there we had an active two-year-old in our group and she never once approached us the. we stayed in both front sea view rooms and also their apartments. sea view rooms were nice but a little dated and I have to say the beds were the worse hard beds ever like sleeping on concrete? if you don't have a back problem when you come to leave you will have not 4-star beds at all. the apartments appear to sit around the corner away really from the hotel down a local street they offer ground-floor or first-floor apartments ground floor apartments are not very private even with the small hedge in front the hotel offers parking but lots of on-street parking around the local area if you do not mind a short walk the beach is a flat easy 10 minute walk away so to the mud baths. the spa within the hotel was a little expensive but very nice and the saltwater pool offers something different but please remember hats and googles

El estudio está bastante completo para pasar unos días, de poner una pega sería que la vitrocerámica tarda la vida en calentar y el aire va a su ritmo. El resto fantástico, limpieza de 10, un olor a limpio en zomas comunes muy agradables, los jardines y piscina muy limpios y estupendos. El coche lo tienes aparcado en la misma puerta de la entrada al edificio del estudio, así que sí sales de paseo luego tienes donde volver a aparcar. Repetiremos seguro. PD. Firstly don’t make the same mistake we did this and believe this is a 5 star hotel it isn’t. No Air Con No hot water then no water at all Rude Staff Party's until 3am We arrived on the 13th march around 7pm, upon check in we was offered no help with our luggage which straight away screens out 4 star at best, but this did not bother us and wouldn’t of even mentioned it if it wasn’t for the rest of the issues. Once we had taken all our bags to the room we decided to go for some food in the restaurant, the food itself is good, but the service is horrendous the staff have no personality and remind you of a prison warden on a tv show and we had to pay right away, usually all the hotels I’ve stayed in it’s charged to your room. The next morning my wife went for a shower and the water was freezing cold so I called reception, they said they was going to fix it and they did and as a result we ended up with no water at all, eventually they sorted this issuer out by the time we returned form our day out. When we returned to the hotel the weather was beautiful so we switched the air conditioning on, but it was warm, I called reception they said they would talk to maintenance, but I heard nothing so asked again a few hours later and they said it was turned off as they was expecting cold weather soon, I’ve never heard such rubbish, I was told to use the ceiling fan, but this thing sounds like a plane taking off and we paid for a presidential suite and the fan is only in the bedroom, this made the room very stuffy and therefore you had no choice but to sleep with the patio doors open which is great if you like listening to dogs barking all night The rest of the week we just used room service and sunbathed on our balcony which was ideal as we never had to sit in the restaurant with the prison guards. Our last night here was the worse and I’ve never experienced something so bad from a hotel in my life. They had a wedding outside the hotel and it was so loud you would think the wedding was in your room, kids running about screaming like they was being murdered right next to the pool and the staff just watched and did nothing, a blatant disregard for health and safety and no respect for other guests

No way is this a 4 star hotel , for anyone who says it is then they’ve never stayed in a 4 star before. Yes the room was clean, the location is excellent and the staff were pleasant however…. Bed was uncomfortable with the flattest 2 pillows I’ve ever seen , might as well have not had one, my pillow case had rips in it too. Room had a kettle with a lid that didn’t close and we had 2 breakfast tea bags, 2 menthol tea bags, 2 sugars and 2 small milk/ cream pods, no coffee sachets. I have never known a hotel that provides a kettle that supplies tea bags and no coffee especially in Spain where coffee is a firm favourite at morning times. I’m sure they don’t provide it in the hotel as they want you to use their restaurant. There was a small fridge stocked with a few fizzy drinks and water , we used one bottle of water and at €3 for a small bottle we didn’t buy anymore. We just thought the hotel was basic, for what we paid it really wasn’t worth it, I do find though that the “ star rating” for anything in Spain regarding facilities etc is wrong, what they say is 4 star is really 3. A Premier Inn back in the UK is much nicer than this hotel AND it’s cheaper, great value for money. We definitely won’t be stopping at the 525 hotel again.

Recently stayed here , not for the first time , and although we appreciate that covid has taken it's toll found the hotel very tired. The shower had a door missing , the basin had a crack and there were various areas in need if repair. The room stunk of smoke and the persiana cord needed replacing. One of the beds had a board under the mattress which clunked when you moved. The pool wasn't available and the bar was closed for most of the time . It is a shame and we hope they get back on track because the place was very clean as was the bedding . The staff as usual were very good and friendly.
