This is a wonderful hotel. It’s our second time booking. Any time you want to attend an event at the SAP center, I suggest booking this hotel! This is walking distance from a lot.

Room 1517 was very clean and comfortable. Housekeeping does a good job. Temperature controls are very easy to change and there was a refrigerator, coffee maker and a complimentary bottle of water. I love using the Marriott app to get my room key on my phone and bypass the front desk. It makes things very convenient. This hotel is a short walk to the Convention Center VTA light rail station that I was able to use to travel to and from the San Jose Airport. One issue I noticed though is that the in-room safe was not bolted to the cabinet. Anybody can literally just pick it up and carry it out of the room (which basically defeats the purpose of safe).

When we first checked in I advised the woman at the desk that I have a service dog. Oh I can't rent to you then you have to leave. After finding paperwork and ADA papers we finally got to our room. The coffee pot was disgustingly dirty, after washing it myself it didn't work right. It just made a mess on the floor. Safety cleaning that up myself I went to bed on an uncomfortable mattress. The room smelled musty and old. As of yet we Still have not received our $100.00 deposit back.

The service at Secco was top notch. Horacio made the absolute best Bloody Mary I’ve had at a Hilton property (and I do this all the time). The avocado toast was absolutely to die for- so simple but so yummy. BIGGEST MUST DO: the coffee is made with real espresso. We made a mistake by not ordering an espresso martini. We. Ant wait to come back to try it. 10/10 for the Hilton San Jose. Make sure you visit all of our friends at Secco though!

Always there to help. Very good customer service and also the cleanliness was immaculate. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a decent clean hotel. They were very detailed with the towels so nice.
