Abbadia Sicille Relais

Beautiful location. With a magical touch. Very well maintained, but still felt authentic. We stayed 2 nights and it was our base to go to the different wineries. Centric to all of the ones we wanted to see. Staff was very friendly. The parking was complicated to understand in the beginning, but afterwards a brease. Theres a small olive orchard which was for us amazing.

Your facility was one of the most amazing places we have ever experienced! The grounds were stunningly beautiful, the history of the buildings was fascinating, your staff was warm and friendly and welcoming! We especially loved the breakfast boxes! How quaint and charming and such a good value! We didn't want to leave! And I made friends with Gigi the cat!

unique experience. It was a very peaceful and clean place. You must stay a minimum of 2 days to enjoy it. There is nice swimming area and classy restaurant. You can have a breakfast if you like to have. Ideal for relaxing in a quiet place, also close to centers such as Pienza

I liked the swimming pool and the jacuzzi so much. The check-in lady was extremely friendly and always helpful and smiling! Thank you once again. We loved our stay. Despite traveling in January, we found beautiful views from this lovely spot. I can only imagine it in the spring! Our hosts were gracious and thorough. The unit offered plenty of room, a fully equipped kitchen, and inviting decor. This was a perfect spot from which to explore the nearby towns in Tuscany and Umbria. Very grateful to have found this historical and charming gem!

This Abbadia (former Abbey) is a really nice place to spend some nights in Tuscany. Breakfast is terrible because it's ordered the day before and delivered in a basket to your room (not worth the money). The adjacent restaurant looked OK but we didn't try, there are better ones in a few minutes driving distance. The parkin lot is gravel only and after a few hours there your car looks very dirty. To bring your luggage from the parking lot to the rooms is a pain, first you have several stairs in a garden like area and than only a gravel walkway, if you have wheels on the luggage it's not working because of the loose gravel the wheels sink and make it hard to roll. Carry on luggage but not too heavy suggested. The fancy and lighted whirlpools are only in the main building and expensive suites. We had a small suite (smallest i guess) at the tiny sidehouse nearby the pool, i guess it was a shed in former times or a stable. The shower was very small and as well the whole bathroom was very small. The kitchen was only a fridge and a coffee maker some cups some plates and some silverware, and outside we had a table to sit and eat or drink. Nearbay the pool are sunbeds and this are marked with signs matching your room. The pool was nice and a small jacuzzi nearby, pool closes at sunddown. The bed and the furniture matches the old style of the abbey but is not very comfortable, WiFi was very bad there in that building as well. Preseason price was OK, it's rustique but don't expect too much.
