This is always an excellent stop. The staff is accomodating and very helpful plus the rooms are clean and comfortable. Had some car trouble and the staff even helped me find service there in town. Very grateful to them for their hospitality and for going out of their way to help !

The room and bathroom was clean and the beds were comfortable. Each room had an individual AC and blows COLDDDD which was wonderful in this crazy Texas heat. The pool was great and clean. They even provided towels for the pool. The new breakfast bus was super cute and food was yummy. The coffee was some of the best! The staff and everyone on-site were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. We highly recommend staying here!!

I stayed at the Desert Inn Motel during a solo trip to Big Bend and had the most incredible time. The property was adorable and the staff was so kind. The location itself was the perfect distance for me to drive to and from the park for the day. I will absolutely be staying there again next time I go to Big Bend.

Desert Air was an oasis in the desert for my wife and I as we drove from San Antonio on route 90. The manager was very accommodating and personable. The room was very clean and price fairly. It was in a great location to visit Big Bend National Park. I strongly suggest filling your gas tank across from the motel as the prices were very high in Marathon. We were on a 35 day road trip from Vermont.

We loved the Desert Air Motel. Check-in was easy and the rooms were comfortable and clean. We spent the late afternoon and evening under a shade pergola by a pool of tall grasses and goldfish. It was beautiful. We will definitely book here again.

This was such a unique experience. We would recommend staying here. A must for more than one night. We were in the area for almost 2 weeks. Our room was spotless, we slept comfortably. So many things to see. The people are genuine and very knowledgeable. The restaurant (close by) has great food. We loved the coffee shop. A fun place to go exploring. There is a aura abut this town that is so welcoming. The mountains are breathtaking.

What a gem of a little place to stay overnight. My room was clean, everything worked and for once, I slept pretty good on a hotel bed. The owners have taken pains to upgrade everything in the rooms, right down to art on the walls. This is real value at 95 a night. And the town is unique, I'll say.

Other reviewers say it well. Cute, clean, relaxing. We had room with patio area and enjoyed sitting outside for a snack and some nighttime desert air. Bed did creak a bit but slept well. Retro feel with frig and microwave and furniture in 1950s motif! Fun!

This is a nice place to stay on the way to Big Bend National Park. It is basic, not fancy, but it was comfortable, very clean, and had the necessary amenities. Cute retro, aqua-colored frig & micro-wave. This is a motel, not a b-and-b. On some days, there are no restaurants open for breakfast. We had to go to the next town for coffee and breakfast. But the price was very reasonable and suited our needs after a long drive on the way to Big Bend.
