Fantastic hotel with great service from the friendliest family and staff at the hotel. Great atmosphere and you feel welcomed from the moment you arrive. Room, breakfast, pool etc in very high standard Highly recommended and definitely a place to come back to

Himmlhof was perfect in every way. This is a small hotel steps away from the main part of town. Easy walk to the train station. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and the attention to detail was unmatched! Staff, food, spa, decor, every bit was 10/10. We will be back!

One of the greatest places we have ever stayed. My wife and I (middled-aged couple from the US) stayed at the Himmelhof for 10 days in August to attend the St. Anton film festival and to enjoy the Alpine outdoors. It would be hard to overstate the genuine warmth and caring of this family-run gem, which provided us with a real home away from home. We had a totally charming, wood-filled room with an amazingly comfortable bed; breakfast was more than ample and delicious; the afternoon cake was the tops; and the sauna and pool fantastic. But the best part of all was the family who runs the hotel and their staff. It feels strange to even provide a “review” of such perfect hospitality, because it comes so obviously from the heart. Five stars are not enough. If we ever have the chance to stay here again, we will feel very, very lucky.

This isn't like any other hotel. In the Himmlhof it feels like you are adopted as part of the family as soon as you walk through the door. The family Penz always showes the most sincere interest in your well being and shows the care one would otherwise only expect for family and closest friends. The authenticity with which you are always greeted with the kindest of smiles and a chat is heartwarming. On top of that; the hotel itself is one of the best examples of fine Austrian architecture and decoration. In short; the best hotel one can stay in by far.

Hotel Himmlhof hosted the best holiday our family has ever had. We loved everything in our vacation; mountains, St. Anton’s village, people, restaurants, and most of all - Himmlhof! We have travelled quite a lot, and seen hundreds of accommodations. Honestly, Himmlhof is the only one we have truly fallen in love with. And it is due to amazing and warm hearted people and family who own and run the place. We felt welcomed from the very first minute, and the level of service was amazing all the time. We also loved that the they had thought even the smallest details - in rooms, breakfast buffet, snacks and in spa. They have created heaven on earth! We are looking forward to come back to St. Anton and visit Himmlhof again. Hopefully sooner than later.

Absolutely loved our fifth stay at Himmlhof in St. Anton am Arlberg! The Penz family and their fantastic team were always positive and welcoming, making our visit truly special. The rooms are fantastic — spotlessly clean and uniquely charming, offering a cozy retreat after a day of adventure. The wellness area is a real highlight. The pool and saunas are exclusive and incredibly relaxing, providing a perfect end to each day. And the breakfast? Simply the best! Fresh, delicious, and wonderfully presented, it’s the ideal start to any morning. If you're looking for an exceptional stay, Himmlhof is the place. Highly recommend! We will for sure be back again!!

gorgeous hotel with the most welcoming and friendly genuine staff. breakfast was so fresh with local produce, attention to detail, and extra details such as eggs as you like them! truly incredible spa facility… really the best place to stay and enjoy St Anton. The Penz Family and their staff were genuinely friendly and interested hosts. As we travel a lot and work in hospitality ourselves we can tell that the way they make their guests feel at home is very warm and special. Breakfast is great and the atmosphere of the hotel and te rooms is cozy. The beautiful SPA is a very nice place to relax after a day of skiing.

We visited Himmlhof again after our first stay two years ago and it could not have been better. Friendly staff, good food and pleasant mood in the hotel. Especially the cakes in the afternoon were very appreciated.
