Fue una estancia muy agradable. Nada de ruido, la habitación era cómoda, la piscina muy tranquila y la vista maravillosa.

The hotel has been newly refurbished and it was immaculate. The breakfast which was included in the room was delicious with lots of options and set you up for the day. The beach was nice and clean and not too busy. The hotel bar was bustling and had a great a**osphere and everywhere else was walkable. I would wholeheartedly recommend the place to anyone.

Myself and my partner go to Portinatx 2/3 times every year and have stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions. On this occasion it was a very good experience bar one or two housekeeping issues. I wanted to leave this review particularly due to the great service and bubbliness of Belén who was absolutely fantastic. Literally the happiest and politest staff member i've seen. Thanks for making the experience great.

Location: 10/10 fantastic, directly facing the small bay with the most stunning views. There are many paths to walk around including seeing the sunset by the cliff, visiting the lighthouse e.t.c. San Juan holds a artisan market on Sunday morning. Local buses run to to Ibiza town and other resorts Monday to Saturday. A few mini markets around. Rooms: my room was big enough for two people I had plenty of space and my balcony was fantastic on second floor facing the sea. The bathroom had a great walk-in shower with two shower heads. Towels changed daily. Tea coffee milk sugar kettle available as well as mini fridge and safe. Very clean. Food: breakfast provides everything from continental to fried. There's a small coffee machine with fresh coffee beans which I used rather than the actual hot drinks machine. The menu for the evening comprises mostly of few meat/ fish dishes but overall mostly Thai, Indian and pizzas. Staff: very attentive, professional, kind like Leona and Toni at reception. They listen and try and help and they are so friendly that the whole a**osphere from holiday makers to everyone working in a hotel was very positive. Superb.

We have been coming to this hotel since 1999, not every year but very regularly until Covid; this visit was our third postponement and we could not wait! We were welcomed back by the owners and also the hotel staff, many of whom have been there since our very first visit. The proportion of returning guests is exceptionally high and deservedly so. We stayed in a first floor terrace room, always our preference. All the rooms are a very good size and the wardrobe/storage area is the largest we have ever seen, far exceeding that in several four and five star hotels we have stayed in. Also walk-in showers. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the location right on the beach cannot be beaten. We are not beach people but there is a small pool too, though I like the terrace best for sunbathing and people-watching! Residents are on a half board basis, the breakfast buffet is a very good way to start the day, we were welcomed by Loli who we first met back in 1999. She loves her work and was so pleased to see things getting “back to normal”. There is an evening buffet. The standard can vary but you are sure to find something to suit and it is good value. Or for a change try the a la carte menu - the food range has dramatically expanded since our last visit in 2018 as the nearby Chinese restaurant is permanently closed and the chef has joined the team at La Ciguenya. The food quality was excellent; there is a Thai menu, too, as well as the traditional Spanish and international choices such as pizza. The restaurant is also well-used by locals and holidaymakers staying elsewhere. The waiting and bar staff were lovely; Natalia the delightful head waitress has been there for 6 years; she and Kendy are very friendly and were happy to help me with my newly learnt Spanish and so did Loli.

Could ony manage to escape for 4 nights this time but so glad to be back and already checking dates and flights for next time. Asap! Arrived just before noon and were lucky enough that our room was ready. Greater with a big smile by Toñi reception manager, who had us checked in, in no time and later by Leona, the other receptionist/reservationist and then by Loli housekeeper who again gave us the warmest of welcome back! Our room was immaculately clean. We opt for a pool view room, much cooler in the afternoon and evenings. Hotel is set right on the beach and Seaview are available but you get this at the restaurant and beach bar so not on our list of priorities for the room. Room had 2 single beds pushed together, bedside cabinets with side and reading lights. large open wardrobe, ample shelving, a safe and fridge. A hot beverage tray on a unit with large mirror over with hairdryer and chair. Neat shower room with large walk in shower. Patio with table and chairs. Aircon/heating. Meal times excellent. Lovely breakfast everything you could wish for, hot or cold and there is lovely Loli again taking care of everyone. Evening meal is a buffet. A different soup and special daily, a hot and cold buffet. All sorts of food available with the addition of tasty chinese this year! With attentive friendly service from Natalie and Betty. All the owners and staff are lovely, so friendly and helpful. Then a desserts cabinet and ice-cream freezer. You can swap evening meal to a-la carte in the afternoons if you give notice in the morning or evening before. Reception and restaurant are up a set of stairs from the beach but from there there is lift access to all floors. However the beach bar is on ground level open from noon till late serving cold drinks, cocktails and a very good snack menu. You can even charge your food and drinks to your room so you don't have to carry cash for your day on the beach! (But don't forget to tip the staff, they are great there too!) Family owned and run hotel, very hands on helped along by the amazing team! Customers return year after year to this small and friendly spot on a beautiful beach, in a quiet resort perfect for young families and couples.

First of all, La Cigueña is a hostel but it is much better then plenty of the 3 and 4 star hotels where we stayed in the past. The service is superb and friendly. The location is magnificent, right on the small beach ('s Arenal Petit) of the Portinatx bay. Rooms are spacious and the ones with the sea view just have a stunning view of the bay. Everything in the room is fine, airco is working good, beds are very nice. Much better then we are used in hotels. Wifi is of a very good speed (easily see a netflix serie for example), even when the 2 kids are on Youtube or Roblox, the parents still can see a netflix serie. More then enough space in the closets to put in all your clothes as well. The restaurant serves really nice food. The breakfast is small but freshly baked croissant and pain au chocolat every morning, some bread and a toasting machine plus plenty of choice to put on it incl. lots of eggs, beans and bacon. Also Nespresso coffee is available for free! Next to the corn flakes and fresh fruit and yoghurts. So, plenty of choice for a good breakfast. The dinner can be half board with a buffet or by menu. If you have half board (what we had) only remark is that it is from 19:30 till 21:30 and then the a la carte guests from outside of the hotel can come. So a bit of a rush as on a holiday 21:30 is quite early. But the buffet is really nice. Everything is fresh and choice from cold (with salads that vary every day), warm (which is themed every day), soup and paella daily. The desserts are really nice and also plenty of choice (at least 4 fresh different cakes daily) The pool is small but great for a cool down after a beach trip. There is a jacuzzi part in the pool, a big splash, enough beds, some sun or shade to choose from and all of it located in a calm patio away from the busy front part of the hotel on the small promenade. The ho(s)tel was such a great experience for us that, if we go back to Ibiza, we definitely go back to this hotel.

Hôtel très très bien, personnel serviable et aimable la chambre que nous avions avait une terrasse avec une vue magnifique sur la mer, la plage de sable est au pied de l hôtel de plus le restaurant est excellent. Hôtel à taille humaine Je recommande cet hôtel.
