Hibiscus Coffee & Guesthouse

Very relaxing getaway place, staff nice, rooms very good, breakfast delicious, grounds very inviting, things to do very close, bicycling on 30A, Wine Bar very close, Red Bar just down the road, and of course beautiful beaches around the corner!

Day 1 and it is the perfect stay/ the breakfast is excellent. Healthy/ tasty served in the gardens which is a gift in itself. Away from the bustle ond business . A true ocean vacation . A trolley will pik u up directly across the street and take u to area attractions .. Thankful!!!

Amazing stay! Exceeded expectations. We chose this place to avoid the Spring Break party a**osphere. We had no idea that the location is within walking distance of stores & restaurants in a charming & peaceful area. Our flat was beautiful. The website photos do not do it justice. The breakfast was so healthy & delicious. Love the garden seating outside. Highly recommend

I very much enjoyed my 3 night stay at the Hibiscus Guesthouse last week in the Old Florida room. For anyone of a certain age that traveled in Florida in the 1950's, 60's or even 70's, it was a great "walk down memory lane" nostalgic setting! My brother and I traveled to 30A from Miami and Mobile for a sibling visit and we could not have chosen a better place to stay. He rented the Turner Room which was located upstairs in the cafe building. Old Florida Room: The queen bed was amazing and probably one of the most comfortable I have ever experienced in a hotel or rental property anywhere. The black out drapes also aided in great nights' sleep. The mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot (with coffee, sweeteners, creamers) and basic utensils, glassware and coffee mugs were perfect for my trip as we definitely planned to eat out every meal. The front porch rockers were a wonderful place to sit and watch the world go by fronted by bright pink azaleas in full bloom. The bathroom was well supplied with more than adequate bath linens, toiletries, and terrific water pressure in a great shower! The guesthouse hosts and staff were so helpful and friendly and definitely wanted to insure that guests had the optimal experience while visiting. The included breakfast was a very pleasant surprise- I have never had such a delicious full breakfast (with about 9 choices) included with a room (most of the menu items were listed anywhere from $11-$16 ) with vegetarian, vegan and gluten free offerings but still choices for those of us who are none of those. The Costa Rican bowl was very good but the Strawberry French Toast, egg and cheese sandwich on freshly baked sourdough and the avocado toast were some of the other delicious choices along with included delicious coffee. It was very nice to have choices rather than a pre-set B & B breakfast that some inns provide. Breakfast is served 8-11 next door in "Raw and Juicy" that has seating inside and in a lovely little courtyard. The location of the Hibiscus was great and one could walk to the beach, The Red Bar, and other shops and restaurants nearby or rent a bicycle next door at the convenience market. It was so nice not to have to get in the car and drive every time we wanted to go somewhere. The beach in Grayton is spectacular and you can rent chair and umbrella set ups right there. Again- a big thumbs up to the wonderful people at Hibiscus Guesthouse for providing such a clean, welcoming and comfortable place to stay right in the middle of the Grayton community. I will be back!

Very cozy and peaceful. Aside from the walkability to restaurants and the beach, I also liked the friendliness of staff, the backdrop of old Florida and the breakfast was superb! I loved sitting outside and reading or taking pictures of the surroundings. It was exactly what I needed to unwind from life.

The place was lay back stayed in the hibiscus room everything was ok had big tub in bathroom shower curtain would stick to you if you took a shower your above the coffee house so it a bit noisy in morning but over all its a lay back kind of place. 10 min from beach.

Wonderful stay at Hibiscus Coffee & Guesthouse. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Very convenient location to get to the beach or other points of interest. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. The cafe serves delicious food options and the outdoor seating feels tropical. Loved our stay.

We decided to explore places in Florida. Came upon this place and decided to give it a shot. Rented e bikes, easy walk to the beach, which is spectacular. Went to local establishments decided that a lot of people have more money than brains… Stayed in the romance room, very nice, just needs a little more space to hang things, what a complaint right 😀 Breakfast was pretty darn good. Overall we would definitely come here again.

The Hibiscus is my go to place from now on. Clean, simple and comfortable... Worth every penny!!!! Breakfast is very good and varied from waffles to eggs... lots of options... Grounds are nice and there was yoga on Tuesday and Sunday mornings early...
