"Disappointed to discover on arrival that both our bedroom windows were shrouded by scaffolding on the exterior. And there were notices in all the public areas advising of building work. And indeed every morning on the dot of 8am loud drilling and banging started. Wrote to complain on our return only to be told that there was notification on the check-in form, which I have to confess we never saw. But the point I made was why only inform customers of scaffolding and building work AFTER they have booked and paid and just prior to check-in; this notice should have appeared on the company website so one was aware BEFORE booking. Did not get satisfactory response, in fact in my opinion the response was rude and aggressive. So unnecessary. In addition the bathroom was very small (toilet butts right up against sink). Towels are small and the coffee supplied sachets of Nescafe! Unusual not to have pod coffee machine these days"

"Stayed in a double room for two days. No water bottle and no shampoo ,no toothpaste, no telephone /intercom were provided. Good clean room. Shower tap was broken, cannot adjust the temperature and cannot turn it off, very inconvenient. Because of this, hotel shifted me to another room, bigger room with Shampoo and Telephone Included!! Haha! Two TVs in new room but no remote control provided."

"I was just disappointed of the initial checkin as I got in my room my request was never made. Very simple. I ask the 2 single beds to be combined to make it bigger. But nope. The late checkouts despite of willing to pay extra was just as it is. I could pay an extra night if I have to if they said so but no. We were from night shift of work and finished at 7 am that we got to the hotel at 7:30 and after breakfast few minutes of rest then we slept off. We got a call at 11 telling us about the checkout and told them I have already asked for the late checkout for extra charges but its only for 2 hours. Nothing more. The attendant started banging the door telling us to checkout as she needed to changed the sheets and so on and so for. We find it really rude."

"Your staff were very helpful and pleasant, and I know Premier Inn and the Beefeater restaurant work closely together. Unfortunately, our experience at the restaurant was completely different. We were shown to our table, but the menus were simply placed on the table with no welcome or explanation. We then sat for around 15 minutes without anyone asking if we would like a drink or if we were ready to order. After waiting with no service, we decided to leave and went to Tribal across the road instead. It was a very disappointing experience and let down what had otherwise been a positive stay"

"A great hotel. A huge, clean room. However, it was let down a little with only 5 TV channels, no towel rails (so had to hang wet towels on door handles), no hooks anywhere. No mirror near a shelf or table top (which meant I had to plug my curling tongs in and leave them on the floor next to the only mirror). It’s a shame as it could have been brilliant"

"Great room with 4 poster bed, very clean and nice and warn for a cold December day. Staff very polite and the prices of the drinks in the bar, great value for money. Good location overlooking the marina. Parking available (free). Met the owners, very nice hospitable people. Met some of the regulars on our return from a meal, had a real good old sing song. Lovely night all round. Will definitely stay again when in the area."

"hotel itself is good very clean and tidy - location was difficult to get to from hull station as all walking paths seem to be blocked off ended up getting uber here. I stayed when there was a party downstairs so kids kept coming up to pop balloons in my door but after i told reception it stopped all in all will stay again"

"One of the worst customer service experiences ever. Although the apartment was lovely, the app that lets you open the front door as well as apartment door kept crashing. At one point there was a group of people stuck outside the building at 9pm, in the rain, not able to get in. When we called customer services, they were no help at all. This happened 3 times during my stay and they have accused me of making fake allegations that it was not the case. They are not returning our holding deposit either and are refusing to respond."
