Hotel 4 bintang Santander yang Popular

酒店離機場不到二十分鐘，打車20歐左右。 酒店就在波廷中心旁邊，套房很大，房間有牙刷，拖鞋，咖啡機。早餐非常簡單，餐廳可以看到海。酒店的另一側是廣場，通過街道可以走進城區。沿着海邊，可以看到流浪者的雕塑。這一部分的港口沒有沙灘。桑坦德的另一個標誌建築馬格達萊納宮在離酒店三公裏的半島，走路有點遠，要一個小時，打車十分鐘就可以到。沙灘區在這邊。

Absolutely loved the location of this hotel, room was extremely clean and bed was so comfortable. Staff made you feel very welcome and happy to answer your questions and help you. My husband is vegan and after the first day, realised there was no vegan hot food at breakfast. I mentioned this to Reception and wow did they sort this out. Next morning, he was asked what he would like and they offered him so many choices. His breakfast personally made by the chef was amazing and delicious. Same thing happened the next morning. He ate like a King. He was delighted when the chef came out of the kitchen both mornings, so he could thank her. Excellent Customer Service !!!!

Hotel situato in una posizione eccellente, vicino al centro della città dove sono i negozi, ristoranti e la vita notturna e di fronte al mare. Le spiagge sono raggiungibili facilmente anche attraverso bus (fermata di fronte all'hotel). La camera molto carina, pulita, con tutto il necessario. Unica pecca la camera singola è veramente piccola, il bagno invece è ampio e con una bella doccia ma manca il bidet (presente invece nella doppia).

A Santander abbiamo scelto più che altro per la posizione, che qui è stata veramente molto felice. Poi avevo chiesto il posto auto, con possibilità della ricarica elettrica, ed ho avuto anche questo. La camera era bella ampia e comoda, con un bel letto ampio e bagno persino dotato di Jacuzzi, che non abbiamo però usato perchè ci sembrava piuttosto vetusta. Il realtà tutto l'edificio pare aver avuto tempi splendenti, magari 40-50 anni prima, perchè l’arredo è di quell’epoca anche se tenuto benissimo. Anche gli ospiti del Hotel ci sono sembrati degli habitué, piuttosto attempati. Avrebbe benissimo potuto essere un Hotel per un film da Woody Allen. Unica nota stonata è il Ristorante. Eravamo stanchi e non volevamo sbattacchiarci nel cercare un ristorante (che abbiamo trovato la sera seguente e non lontano). Cena rigorosamente NON PRIMA delle 20.30, salone vuoto fino alle 21, tranne noi, con un silenzio surreale. Pietanze da menù molto poco accattivante, diciamo che per essere in Spagna avrebbe potuto essere meno turistico. Pazienza. Hotel consigliabile per la posizione, non rientrerà tra i nostri desideri per tornarci ma gradevole per stare un paio di giorni a Santander, città molto bella e meritevole essere visitata.

From the outside the hotel doesn’t look like much but the interior more than makes up for it. Welcomed very nicely by staff and was easy to find our room. Room was a great size and lay out and the bed was incredibly comfy. There were always staff available if needed but we didn’t have any problems. The hotel was in a great location and the beaches and restaurant were lovely.

Like many people using the Ferry I've always just ridden off, or got the the queue in time. I decided to have three days here, at the end of my 2000 mile trip. Left Haro and took a detour through Frias/Ona which was fantastic. Ride through the N632 to Santander Beachfront. Got to Hotel, pay up front for room. 3rd Floor, Sea View. Reception excellent Hotel very good, but Bike outside in Moto area for three days. Good breakfast, with a number of sittings. Lots of bars, Beach is brilliant. Mercardo near Surf School. I found bar food average, but others raved about the Seafood. I would stay here again. In fact I might book for September trip.

Having stayed six times at this hotel dating back to 2015 we decided to stay again as we wished to be near Sardinero. We have not experienced any of the issues identified by previous reviewers in any of these visits, in fact quite the opposite, the staff were welcoming and the rooms were in decent shape and always large. The price was high but for the luxury of a senior suite I was prepared to pay over the odds. On arrival we were told that no senior suites were available and we had been upgraded to the Imperial Suite. Sounds good, but here the good news ended Issue 1 the whirlpool bath didn’t work. Reported to reception and was quickly attended by the maintenance man who after breaking the tile to access the motor reset fixed the problem! Issue solved - nope. It lasted 20 minutes and then tripped all the electric. On reporting to reception the switch was reset but no whirlpool bath. Ok, we’re not here for the bath and having been offered a move the next day at 12 noon we decided to stick with the room as otherwise it appeared ok. Issue 2, the air conditioner sounded like a jet engine. It wasn’t so warm anyway so we tolerated this. Issue 3, at around 5 am it became clear there was multiple pigeons roosting in the roof space above the bed therefore couldn’t sleep until they stopped making noise. Should have moved but we are quite tolerant. Issue 4, around noon time the noise from the AC was so load we had to trip the electric breaker to stop it. Again we should have moved. Issue 5, on night 2 we were again awake for a significant period because of the lift continually moving even in the middle of the night. Issue 6, on night 3 again the lift was not moving up and down almost constantly. This seems to be the overnight cleaner moving items to the storeroom, and guess where this is, next to our room 601. I politely asked receptionist to ask the cleaner to stop and she said he was going home now so it would be ok. She couldn’t move us as there were no other rooms available. On approaching the hotel director the next morning she was aware of all the issues even knowing that the lift was noisy and kept people from sleeping. I was offered a free breakfast which I refused purely because there is no soap in the toilets and this is being used by waiters and chefs to prepare and serve food. After much argument I was told they would refund me the last night stay, still not received it though. All bored by now no doubt. This hotel had deteriorated badly in the 7 years we have visited. There are so many easy fixes to make it better but nobody seems to care. Lights don’t work - replace bulbs AC noisy - stop it vibrating Bath doesn’t work - either replace the motor or borrow from another room given the Imperial suite is the best room in the house Lift - get an engineer Noise - stop the cleaner working all night making noise No soap - buy soap The list is endless, we won’t be back and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else does either. More illusion than reality. The The entrance matches a grand hotel. The reception was also friendly and good. Unfortunately the room was neither like in the photos nor did it correspond to a 4* hotel. No minibar, no glasses, no coffee or tea, only an armchair and relatively small. For a 3* it would be ok. On the plus side, our room and the whole hotel was very clean. We booked in advance in the ”luxurious restaurant” for a celebration dinner. This was also confirmed to us. We were then allowed to have our wedding day meal in the bar, cafeteria. It wasn't just the temperature that was cold. Also the room and the service. The menu was minimal. But the food was ok. Too bad, in this place you have to do more. Very disappointing!

We were impressed with this hotel on arrival, nice common areas, parking onsite (albeit a tad expensive), good location/setting, easy checkin, clean room. But two very important things this hotel needs to get right… (1) The dinner service. They had one (very hard working) waiter doing everything, the result was a v long way even for a menu. We couldn’t blame him as he was doing his best but just couldn’t keep up. To add, the restaurant is outside in a temporary building which may be lovely in the summer but was not quite so glamorous in the rain. We were amazed the waiter had to keep going in and out (in the rain) to get drinks and food, utter madness…. Especially when there are large areas inside the main hotel not being used. We felt really sorry for this guy and as a result didn’t order starters, more drinks or desserts as it was just too painful to watch. (2) The hot water. We had none, just not good enough. We wouldn’t stay here again for the above two reasons, limited time and travelling require decent service and hot water as standard.

Our experience at Centersuite Santander was a pleasure from start to finish. We do not speak Spanish (we are trying to learn), and Yolanda who checked us in speaks no English. Using Google Translate, Yolanda gave us a very comprehensive guide to the hotel and the features in our room. We stayed in the Reina Victoria, one of only five rooms in the hotel. The hotel is on the first floor of a building in the main street through the town, and the Victoria room is at the back of the building. Despite the location, the room was very quiet. The bed (two twins pushed together) was very comfortable and the room was well equipped with a safe, fridge, microwave, kettle and coffee machine. The widescreen tv comes equipped with Netflix included. The bathroom is spacious with a rainfall shower in a large wet room section of the room. The only negative is the toiletries. One dispenser that serves as soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. It feels like glue on your hair. Bring your own hair products. The hotel is a fifteen minute walk from the bus station, and has lots of bars and restaurants nearby. There are also several mini-markets and lots of cafes. We would definitely stay here again. Checkout is a respectable 12pm. I don’t think you could leave your bags here until your flight (not an issue with our 2pm flight), as the desk is unmanned through most of the day and it’s not possible to enter the building without a key, however there are lots of lockers at the bus station.
