I stayed at this hotel for six nights and it was an outstanding experience. The hotel is very clean, perfectly located, and the staff are truly professional. My room was spacious, and the minibar was fully stocked with fresh fruits, drinks, and snacks. The breakfast was excellent, with a huge variety and everything tasted amazing. Honestly, this hotel is so good that it deserves 7 stars. I strongly recommend it to anyone visiting China.

Everything I needed during my stay was provided promptly and with genuine kindness. I would especially like to recognize Kara, Vicky (The house keeper), and Vivian for their exceptional service. They went above and beyond to make my stay truly worthwhile, always attentive, warm, and ready to help. Their dedication and hospitality made a real difference and left a lasting impression. InterContinental Shijiazhuang delivers world-class service and comfort. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again whenever I’m in the city.

The hotel is well located, near to shopping mall and restaurants. The room was comfortable, big, tidy and clean. There was a washing machine at the room and soap was available for free. So convinient to wash the clothes. Breakfast with a lot of options, everything tasty. Staff really kind. Bottles of water were also included for free, for each day. Highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at Shangri-La Hotel with our family and had a wonderful experience. The view is truly a million-dollar view—absolutely breathtaking and unforgettable. My initial room seemed to not be incorrect, they immediately upgraded my room. Then I lost my AirPods (for the second time when staying at this hotel) both times a lovey lady named Cathy made sure I got them back, even contacting the rail company and getting them from the train. Goods great, pool is awesome. Best place to stay when visiting Tangshan and price is great

Hotel facilites were excpetional and the service was fantastic. The room I booked was a suite and was the biggest suite I have had the pleasure of staying in. Xonsidering the size I believed it to be good value It is about 2km from the Thaiwoo ski fields and whilst there was a shuttle of you missed it which I did it you either had to get a taxi/didi which at the peak time of day was a very long time. The walk is long in ski boots which I wouldnt recommend. Special mention to Andy who looked after me whilst I was there, he went out of his way to made the stay as pleasant as possible

I think the design is pretty amazing. I came here during winter, it ok, pretty cold. The location to other aranya attractions are not within walkable distance, however you can always arrange free unlimited rides direct to the location with the hotel staff. The entire concept of Aranya is very special. Ok, the hall is cool and nice. I booked the Party Room which can easily fit 8 people. Scenery I believe is none, but its comfortable, if you got more than 4 people staying, remember to request more towels for shower, only got 1 toilet available. Beware of your head, everyone knocked on their heads when heading to bed as shown in the pic. The warmer is super efficient.. we sweat during the winter im the room.

MMichael Exploring China and BeyondWe visit the Four Points by Sheraton, in Gu'an Langfang often. This was a particularly special visit, as there were numerous events to celebrate. Namely ”Mid Autumn Festival”, ”National Day” and my Birthday coincided during this period. This Hotel is without a doubt the best Hotel, not only in Gu'an, but in Langfang as well. The ”Eatery Restaurant”, plays a vital role in the success of this Hotel. I often say this when visiting a great Hotel or Restaurant, it's the ”Team”, whom makes the establishment a success. The ”New” pastry cheff, is truly a great asset to the Restaurant and Hotel. His pastries are of exceptional standard, and the variety is huge ”unlike the sister Hotel's Restaurant, The Sheraton”, whom barely have any pastries or desert on offer. Without the right team in place, the business can and will, never be truly successful. Especially, in the current highly competitive market. As a former ”Regional Retail Manager”, with over 15 years of Management experience, I can't help but observe and analyze certain businesses. Being University Qualified in ”Customer Relationship Management” and ”Retail Management”, I appreciate High levels of Customer service. The success of this Hotel and Restaurant, lies in it's team, and their hard work and dedication. True ”Managers”, lead from the front, and set an example to their staff. As the case with ”Samuel” the General Manager, whom always assists his team on the floor. The same can be said for ”Marcus” the Restaurant Manager, whom is always ”hands on” and working hard on the floor. Such ”leadership” sets the tone, for a great team as it will filter down to staff on all levels. Special thanks to ”Lydia” the Office Manager, for always being willing to assist in ensuring that guests receive the absolute best, during their stay. Lydia is always courteous and professional. As always, ”Marcus” the Restaurant Manager, treated us with extreme courtesy and hospitality. We appreciate your hospitality Marcus, thank you. Thank you to ”Molly” from the Restaurant, whom assisted us with with room service, as well as in the Restaurant. It's also note worthy to mention, that it's not only the ”Management Team”, whom deserve praise. As all team members provided excellent service, during our stay. Thank you to ”Housekeeping”, for friendly and prompt service. The team at the ”Swimming Pool”, also provided friendly and prompt service, during our stay, thank you for that. We also appreciated the friendly and professional service, received from the following Restaurant staff: Sam, Peter and Joe. Perhaps, ”Marriott” should consider, having this Hotel's ”sister” Hotel, ”The Sheraton, Chaobai River Hotel's Management and Team, learn about ”Hospitality and Service”, from this Hotel ”Four Points by Sheraton, Gu'an Langfang”. As in my opinion, the ”The Sheraton, Chaobai River Hotel's Management” is not on standard. The facilities at the Four Points by Sheraton, Gu'an, Lanfang, are on International standard. We always enjoy the Swimming Pool, Lobby Lounge and Outdoor Deck, during our stay. The ”Alpacas” are truly amazing creatures and are well taken care of. They truly make guests' stay, more enjoyable. We can highly recommend the Four Points by Sheraton, Gu'an Langfang, to all visitors, ”Foreign, and Domestic”. This is still our favorite destination, in Gu'an / Langfang and surrounding areas. We look forward to our next stay, see you soon.

KKellyC_**Hotel Review: Aesthetic Excellence Overshadowed by Comfort Failures** Our recent stay at this supposedly 5-star hotel left us with mixed feelings. While the hotel clearly invested heavily in aesthetics, creating a visually stunning environment that looks fantastic in photos, the design seemed to prioritize form over function, ultimately compromising our comfort. Sadly, this became a deal-breaker for us. The most glaring issue was the room's ventilation and temperature control—or lack thereof. We visited in early March, and the entire building was excessively heated. Despite being from a tropical country and accustomed to warm weather, I found myself sweating in shorts and a singlet. The staff, though polite and eager to help, seemed powerless to address the issue. They provided us with a small portable AC unit, which was better than nothing, but it was clear from their demeanor that this was a recurring problem for guests. Sleeping was a nightmare. The only way to cool the room slightly was to keep the windows open, but this meant having the blinds and curtains up, allowing outside noise and light to flood in. The choice was between sleeping in a sauna-like environment or enduring the disturbances from outside. Needless to say, we had a terrible night's sleep and were relieved to check out after just one night. On a positive note, the service was impeccable. The staff truly deserve recognition for their efforts to assist guests despite the limitations they faced. The breakfast spread was also a highlight—delicious, varied, and reasonably priced, especially if you inform them in advance about adding breakfast to your stay. The room amenities were top-notch, and the spaciousness of the room added to the overall sense of luxury. We got a family suite which was plenty spacious and came with 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 bathtubs and a living area. However, these positives couldn’t outweigh the discomfort caused by the poor temperature regulation. During our trip, we stayed in four different cities across China, and this was the only hotel that lacked proper air conditioning and heating controls. For a 5-star establishment, this is a significant oversight. In conclusion, while the hotel excels in aesthetics, service, and amenities, the lack of a well-thought-out solution for room temperature is a major drawback. Management needs to address this issue with a long-term fix. After all, no matter how beautiful a hotel looks, it’s hard to appreciate it when you can’t get a good night’s rest.

The surrounding scenery is quite nice, and it's pleasant to take a stroll outside. The parking lot isn't very large, so it can be tight during peak times, but access is very convenient.

HHansOlivierWe stayed in the Premier Balcony Seaview King Room and the sea view was really beautiful. We loved sitting on the balcony enjoying the fresh sea breeze. The weather was perfect, not too cold for mosquitoes and not too hot to feel sweaty. The room was very clean when we checked in. However, there were occasional sudden whiffs of smoke coming through the vents even though it’s a non-smoking family hotel with signs everywhere. It affected the room quality a bit. We called hotel service and they offered to change our room, but we were too lazy to move so they quickly sent someone to set up an air purifier for us, which was really nice. The breakfast was excellent with so many options from Western to Chinese cuisine. The only downside was the lack of meat choices; we only saw bacon, pork sausages and the meat in the wonton soup. The gym was great and had everything needed for a proper workout. 💪 The pool was packed with kids in the afternoon so we didn’t use it. Overall a very comfortable stay with a fantastic sea view. GGuest UserCame here to ski during the Chinese New Year holiday, and Genting is an old favorite of mine. I have to give it a 100-star rating this time! I happened to catch the two windiest days of the ski season, but Genting's gondola, though a bit slower, kept running as usual. Genting's ski resort has the shortest queues, and most of its slopes are south-facing with great visibility. I managed to hit all the advanced runs twice over the two days, starting the new year with full energy and passion. It was fantastic! The hotel was prompt with water delivery, the hotpot wasn't expensive, and the front desk even gave us a late check-out since we had a child with us. All in all, it's the best hotel in Chongli, absolutely loved it!

GGuest UserThe hotel offers complimentary snacks, which are convenient to take when you're out and about. It's very close to tourist attractions, and a taxi to Nanchuan Old Street is only about 10 yuan. The front desk staff are warm and attentive. Nearby attractions include the museum, the Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, Nanchuan Old Street, and boat tours, all of which are great. There's also a snack street in the residential complex opposite the hotel. It's a really good hotel with excellent parking and great value for money. The front office manager is truly available on call, even replying to WeChat messages at midnight. The next day, when Cangzhou's temperature dropped, they proactively contacted me to inform me about the cold weather and advised me to add more layers. This is truly personalized service. Thumbs up! GGuest UserThe room had a sea view with Shaun the Sheep decor, which my child absolutely loved. We could even watch the sea from the balcony. They provided a children's toilet, and kid-sized toiletries and slippers. The restaurant food was quite good, and there's a kids' play area. The hotel has its own lawn and a private beach. Both the lawn and the sea were very clean, and there were many water activities available. We came the weekend before May Day, and even the speedboat rides were already running.

RRichterA true 5 Star experience. The room is top notch with a large window overlooking the sea. Service is outstanding in all categories. Breakfast is full and rich. The hotel dinner buffet is so extraordinary that I say you must try it at least once! We were amazed at the variety of dishes and the quality. Hotel location is perfect. Just a few minutes walk and you can have your feet in the sand or water. The Qinhuang Alley Food Street is also within walking distance or very short cab ride. This food street is very lively and fun to visit especially in the evening. Two other recommendations for things to do are Lao Long Tou (Old Dragon Head) which you can get to by cab. And if you are a fan of the Olympics you really should visit Olympic Avenue Park. Amazing relief sculpture wall over 300 meters long portraying Olympic history. Must be seen to be believed. Thank you to all the friendly and professional staff and chefs at Grand Hotel Qinhuang for making our 4 night stay so enjoyable. Qinhuangdao is a wonderful city with so many different things to do and experience we hope we can return again.
