Location: 7/10 The hotel is about a 30-minute drive to the Pattaya walking street / Pattaya Central World. It is not recommended to stay here if you are looking for fun in the centre of Pattaya. Service: 8/10 The front desk staff is very helpful with a smile. The staff in the restaurant may need some more training during the breakfast time or they may be understaffed. The maintenance team responded very quickly when the TV could not connect to the internet, and they arrived within 10 minutes of the call. Room: 9.5/10 The room size is quite spacious and looks new. One very important thing is that the view is absolutely stunning. Excellent stay. Rooms were very spacious, service was good particularly the room cleaning personnel. Took time to thoroughly clean and change the bedsheet of the room. Food was amazing as well, I think it’s the standout feature of this hotel. Pools and facilities are lively and very attractive. However one feedback I would like to provide is there are some houseflies flying around in the twist restaurant, breakfast dining. Flies were spotted 2 days throughout my 3 night stay

We reached airport at 5:45pm and when straight to check in. They check us in and told us to wait for the room because the room manager have to check the room. So we waited for 45 minutes for the room and then they told us they change the room. So why not change the room before and keep us waiting so by the time everything is dark.

Great location for families with young children! Straight from the tollway and away from the city center traffic. Lovely private beach with swimming pools. There’s also a restaurant and bar right next to the pool which allows even more family time. The hotel size is ideal for us as we travel with a toddler and a baby. Everything is fast and convenient. No need to walk miles and miles from one area to another. Food is great, especially Thai food. We were impressed by the proper pizza oven as well. Prices are reasonable. However, our suggestion regarding food is that the hotel should upgrade the sausages . It was pretty disappointing to not have certain quality of food provided during breakfast from a 5-star hotel. Another thing was the pillows. They all were way too big and high. We ended up not using them unfortunately. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely come back!

I stayed in the family room and its great. All of us slept well in this spacious room with kids having their own bed. View is great. Hotel organized different activities day and night. Suitable for family with kids.

Location is a bit far from downtown and good restaurants. Since we like to explore local food, we had hard time finding good food place near by. Except location, nothing is to complain.

The hotel staff are very nice and helpful. However, the whole hotel is very outdated and looks old… it really needs renovation to claim itself a 5 star hotel. The photos of the hotel on website are kinda misleading customers. We booked a family room which has 2 rooms connecting together, the room is in good size, but again, the room inside including all decor and amenities are in low quality. We have 2 toilets in the room - shower in big room: water after shower in is not going away properly; shower in small room: very hard to control the temperature of the water, sometimes it was very hot sometimes very cold. Also the room’s air con was super cold so we tried to turn the temperature higher but it was not possible to change. Therefore we need to turn off the air con in one of the rooms. The breakfast and cocktail during evening at the lounge on 3/F were good. Staff is very attentive there too. We also tried the breakfast in the restaurant (Twist) on G/f but it was just so so. Besides, we had dinner at Twist once. Frankly the food there was not tasty, it was not worth the price it charged at all. Overall, Mövenpick Pattaya looks like a 3-4 star hotel only, it really needs big improvement to claim itself a 5 star hotel.
