Harmony Suites Secaucus Meadowlands

The people at the front desk were not cordial on our 2 day stay. No greetings or smiles.made me feel unwelcome. The workers were nice.The breakfast was excellent. The on!y issue in the room was the drapes were colorful but looks like they were never ironed. Just hanging wrinkled. The bath tub needed scrubbing. Other than that I would consider staying again.

This place was an awesome alternative to staying in Times Square and a fraction of the cost. Super convenient hopping on the 320 bus out the front door drops you right at time square and runs every ten minutes. We are a family of four and a standard hotel room will not accommodate us. We did the two king bed room and was perfect. The breakfast had a much larger selection than I expected and the rooms as well as the hotel were very clean. Staff was ultra friendly.

Pros - the rooms are huge. The breakfast is very busy, but well run. Parking is free. The price is good. Cons - OLD! Feels like you stepped back to the 80's. Room is clean, but everything is very old. Stained couches, curtains and carpets. I arrived after a cancelled flight at 1AM. Checkout was 11. I asked for an extra hour for late checkout, I was told NO. If I wanted an hour, it would be $30 for the hour! No thanks. Will not be returning.

A group of us (14 in total) attending the Rolling Stones at Metlife Stadium stayed here for two nights and we were extremely happy with the hotel, the great service, the bartender, the rooms and the location. The gals at the front desk were SO patient with me as I had to sort out who had what room etc... THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!! I recommend :)

The place has a strong cleaning smell when you walk in. The parking lot is a bit far away. They told me on the phone that they had a couch that opens up into a bed but the couch was so close to the bed that I don’t think it can open. They had a very nice breakfast and it’s convenient if you want to go to the city or the America America Mall. Some family visited and wanted to spend time in our room but it was not set up for guests. A tight squeeze of furniture. Our room was next to the elevators and very loud in the morning. I was woken up several times.

I was impressed with the well run breakfast, including omelets, waffles, croissants, yogurt, fruit, juices and coffee. Nice staff that works hard to keep everything running which is unusual as many hotels have minimal staff at breakfast. The breakfast was in the atrium area so there was plenty of room. Looks like an ex-embassy suite hotel now a family run hotel. Most rooms are suites and a few standard hotel room only. Free parking. Bus 320 right across the street to NYC near times Square was very convenient and comfortable. Definitely would stay again.

I like this place because it’s really easy to travel but bus 320 to the city. Although interior might be a bit outdated it’s all clean and neat. Complimentary breakfast is also good and with a variety of foods I really can endorse this hotel for a city trip

Terrible customer service - you call and are put immediately on hold for over 30 minutes!! I was calling from the UK to ask a question and spent £45 on hold!! Why do they answer the call and put someone on hold without coming back (this happened the first call, I held for 20 minutes then ended the call),

This is a former Embassy Suites that closed and then reopened under a new name and management. The new owners may be Indian as nearly everyone who works here is Indian. Often that means a marginal hotel especially regarding cleanliness and service but neither is an issue here. The staff is quite good and the place is spotless. Our room was large and comfortable although ever so slightly showing signs of age. Everything worked. The WIFi was a little slow sometimes. The room lacked USB charge ports in convenient places. The bathroom had an annoying motion sensor which automatically turned on very bright lights. It could not be disabled so you were blinded with bright light even in the middle of the night. Parking is free and easy. The lobby is a stunning atrium but unfortunately nearly all of it is set up with tables for eating rather than comfortable chairs so it isn't a place to hang out. Breakfast is really great. It actually has a made to order omelet station. Location is quite good and within easy walking distance of many restaurants, a Walmart and a movie theater. The Manhattan bound NJ transit #320 bus stops just across the street and runs every 10 minutes . Room pricing is all over the place with the price doubling for the same room from March to April and increasing by yet another $100 from April to May. At those prices the place just isn't worth the money but if you find an attractive rate, by all means consider staying here.
