Ulasan That House Hongdae

Rumah tetamu berhampiran Hongdae. Saya rasa ia bagus untuk orang yang pergi bersiar-siar di luar dan hanya mahu tidur pada waktu malam. Ia mungkin tidak sesuai untuk orang yang ingin menghabiskan masa santai di rumah penginapan. Saya dapat dengan mudah masuk ke dalam bilik saya dengan daftar masuk sendiri. Semua arahan ditulis dalam bahasa Inggeris, jadi mereka yang tidak faham Hangul pun boleh. Kakitangan juga berbahasa Inggeris.

Saya tidak tahu ia adalah rumah tamu, tetapi ia bagus dan bersih. Walau bagaimanapun, kerana ia adalah daftar masuk sendiri, lokasi bilik itu sedikit berbeza, dan anjing itu menyalak dengan kuat sepanjang masa saya berada di tingkat satu, jadi ia sangat bising. Kami berbual sebentar, tetapi agak mengecewakan kerana bilik sebelah bising.

The house is walkable distance to the metro station but a bit hill climbing needed. The rooms are acceptable.

The hostel is situated in Hongik University area, which is accessible by bus, metro and airport rail. The surrounding area is good with a variety of shopping areas and restaurants. You have to walk a bit uphill in order to reach the hostel. If you carry too much luggage or you walk with difficulty, that may be a challenge. The area provides a fridge and cooking utensils for backpackers. They adopt a self check in and check out policy. You have to find your room by yourself based on the instructions provided. The sanitary conditions in the dorm area left much to be desired. No regular cleaning was done and they just changed the bedsheets when someone checked out. There were four toilets/shower rooms but one female toilet was out of order and the lock of one male toilet was broken, which means that anybody could open the door of the toilet accidentally when it was in use. The shower rooms and slippers were mouldy and the sinks were stained and rusty. This shows that they were not cleaned and taken care of regularly. The room I stayed was a bit smelly but it was chilly, so the window couldn't be opened all the time. Of course, the price may suggest something and you can't complain a lot with the low price.

Good location, walking distance to metro hongik university station. No worries if you are going to check in at late night, the key for the room will be left at the reception desk together with all the information and instruction. The hostel is clean

Good location connected to Hongdae and other great restaurant district, but the clean in restroom is key concern.

Very basic old hotel, towel provided were small, no one on site, self checkin and checkout, have to climb up a slope and stairs to get to hotel.

Location is nearby train station, shopping street, and etc..

The location is so convenient ! It’s between hongdae and sinchon. Most of the things were fine but there was one thing I didn’t like that.. The bathroom was so smelly because of the used toilet paper all goes in the garbage bin…not toilet..

The room was basic but not very clean (lots of built up dust, hair, leftover bar soap from previous guest, dingy smell). That being said, if you just need a place to sleep, it’s a great value and a convenient location. Perfect to catch the AREX to ICN.

The hotel is very good. The staff is very nice too.

A bit far from train station needs a bit of renovation and cleaning. Using of washing machine is not free 5,000won per use (it’s my first time to exp that usually it’s free with other hotel/hostel) been traveling to korea couple of times so I know.
