Ulasan New Seoul Hotel Myeongdong

if you are carrying heavy luggage, better go to city hall station exit 5 that with an escalator. The hotel is 20mins walk away from Meyongdong main street. There is special ice skating event nearby in winter time.

I got a room without windows… due to winter… no aircon… only useless blower or heater…so hot till cannot sleep… in the end I open the door to let corridor air to flow in… Remote control all in Korea language… in the end I just anyhow press the switches… at least a card show the switch layout in English. Room is small, no shaver, no toothbrush, no comb, no body lotion… the excuses they give is government law… if like this … they can give upon request…the hotel management just want to earn more money from customers . Hotel near City Hall Station…travel easy… hotel near to Koreana Hotel…

Great location - very close to City Hall subway station, walking distance to Namdaemun and Myeongdong and then cool nightlife scene alone the river. The roads around City Hall are close and traffic jammed due to protests on th weekend, so keep that in mind if you have to leave or arrive in a car. They don't offer free toiletries anymore, but there is a vending machine in the lobby for those extra items. The door in our room 300 was a little hard to close and you'd basically had to slam it to close it properly but the room was very clean and had good cable TV. Nice bakery cafe place in the lobby and it's right near Starbucks and across the street from an Olive Young, so there's already lots of shopping opportunities nearby.

This is a fine hotel for a quick stay in Seoul. The Cleanliness could however be better though. The price is fair and you get what you pay for.

Their bed is memory foam. Very classic colours like black and gold for the design, even the lobby, which can make it slightly gloomy. They are using AI function in the room by asking the iPad to switch off the lights and curtain. There is no shampoo and soap provided. Overall, I enjoyed my stay v cosy environment.

the location was near to city hall train station. there were sufficient amenities provided, and hotel staff were responsive to queries even at night. the room and toilets were clean and well maintained.

The hotel location is great, the staff was friendly and everything was convenient. We didn’t have to take the subway a lot as everything was walkable from there.

The hotel is in a great location. By the train station and by the Seoul Lantern Festival. Nice bed too!

Family-friendly hotel that meets our needs, is conveniently located within 1km of many eateries, and is a 15-minute stroll to Myeongdong shopping street.

Good location, it is very near city hall metro station and the drop off point of airport express bus. The staff are very nice and helpful. The hotel is very clear and the TV can play YouTube. There is a share kitchen for the guest to cook.

The location of the hotel is good but it's also in a prime location where rallies and protests are held everyday. We nearly didn't make it to the airport on time as the main street was blocked for the mega rally. While the room looks clean from far, we spotted dirt and hair lying around the floor. The bathroom floor trap was littered with hair. The housekeeping also didn't do anything with it even when I closed the luggages for their convenience on the 2nd day. Can only lament on our inexperience overall.

Good hotel, great location. Only issue was that the staff only replaced 2 towels although we were 3, but other than that everything was as expected and the hotel met expectations.
