A very comfortable, classic old hotel. The common areas are particularly charming and have an old-world feel. It's located on top of Seodaemun, so you usually need to take a taxi because of the uphill climb. However, the nearby bus service is quite convenient.

Not a bad hotel. The most convenient thing about it is the 24-hour CU (convenience store), whose staff are always friendly and polite. Now I have to mention the downsides, which, to be honest, I wasn’t prepared for at all. The first and main drawback is that I was supposed to get an Executive class room. However, instead, I stayed in a Deluxe class room. Let me clarify right away: I had previously stayed at the Swiss Grand Hotel under the Play&Stay package, which means I didn’t know what room category I would be given until the very end. To make things easier for me and avoid having to check out and check back in, they gave me one standard room for the entire stay. You can imagine my surprise when I found out that my new friend, who also checked in under Play&Stay for the same dates as me, was given an Executive class room – even though she checked in later. So basically, I could have been staying in better conditions. When I received my voucher from Trip.com and saw that it listed a room like my friend’s – nothing like what I actually got – I went to the front desk. The administrator just smiled and shrugged. All he said was, 'You agreed to stay in that room.' Yes, I agreed, but no one told me about any alternatives at check-in… And the situation was NOT resolved at all. That said, I can’t say the conditions in the Deluxe Room were bad (otherwise I wouldn’t have let it slide). It was quite cozy, spacious, and overall pleasant to stay in. That said, one day, the person in charge of housekeeping apparently decided I didn’t need to take a shower, so they removed the shower gel container for a whole day (luckily, I had brought travel-sized ones with me, even though I had hoped I wouldn’t need them). Other than that, everything was fine, and even that somewhat questionable attitude from the staff didn’t ruin my vacation.

This hotel is pretty good; the rooms are clean and quite spacious. I'm still wondering if it's a Hilton or a Swissôtel, though. The breakfast is a bit pricey, but the service attitude is excellent. The only downside is that the hotel's Wi-Fi is very unstable; it frequently loses connection to the internet. It doesn't show as disconnected, but you just can't access the internet.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. The executive suite was huge and luxury. Bed linen was amazing. The common spaces were a bit old but I still loved everything and would love to come back!!!!

My stay here was incredibly satisfying, exceeding my expectations overall. The room was clean and tidy, with excellent natural light and ventilation. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a very restful sleep. The bathroom facilities were comprehensive, with quick hot water and a full set of toiletries. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, making both check-in and check-out quick and efficient. The hotel's location is convenient, making travel easy, and the surrounding amenities are also excellent. It's a quiet environment, not noisy at all, and offers great value for money. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip and highly recommend it to everyone!

The title/ name of the hotel deceived us by offering hotel services with five stars. The fact is an old residence suite and not a Hotel. The suite is very old and no internet connect (no WIFI). There is no Beverage, such as coffee and tea. The sanitation is poor because some food scraps was found on the ground. The facilities are poor as the door wouldn't be closed tightly and was damaged. We had a terrible experience because of this deception.

The location is decent, but the rooms are a bit dated and the facilities are old. It's not worth the price.

Nice and comfortable hotel with spacious rooms and friendly staff. The property feels a little old-fashioned and some areas could use updating, but it is clean, quiet. Also location is far from downtown.

The type of room we had reserved is the apartment type that consist of 3 bedrooms and 1 living room. The size is big but there is no daily service to clean the room. The apartment is located in the front area of the hotel, separating from the hotel. The CU shop (24hrs) was easily to walk in 5 min. The location is far from the subway so using taxi is more convenient.

The staffs are very nice and helpful. Very spacious if you have big families or friends

The service was warm and welcoming, the room was clean, and the location was convenient for transportation.

I personally feel that Western hotel brands in Korea are always a great choice. The staff here can all communicate in English, and everything about this hotel is excellent, except for its location – it feels like it's halfway up a mountain. When you want to take public transport, you have to climb a long and steep hill. The first day, when we got off the airport bus, we were genuinely shocked. My mom and I, dragging our luggage, had to stop several times climbing that hill; it was seriously like an outdoor training drill. Even without luggage, you'd be out of breath. When we left, we took a taxi, and the doorman, who also spoke great English, helped us hail one.

It was a pleasant hotel. Clean, convenient and reasonably priced. There’s a convenient store at the lobby.

Facilities: A bit old, but the room is spacious. Cleanliness: Very good. Environment: Nice surroundings, good for hiking. Service: Decent.
