Self-check-in was a breeze, and having a dedicated parking spot made it perfect for those traveling by car. The outdoor onsen, though small, brought a lot of joy to the kids. It's just a 5-minute walk to Lake Kinrin, making this place excellent value for money.

The Sunshine Room has its own private outdoor hot spring bath, and the bedroom features a tatami-style setup. Check-in is self-service; the host provides a password for the electronic door lock. The place is very clean and comfortable overall, and there's a free washing machine available for use. It's a short walk to Lake Kinrin. The only downside is that the accommodation is hard to find; it's located down a small alley, which then turns into a tiny dead-end street. The parking space at the entrance isn't very large. There's a signpost in one of the photos below; when you see it, turn left, go past two small alleys, then turn right, and you'll see it. Due to our itinerary, we only stayed one night this time, but we hope to stay for a few more days next time.

One of the best stay of my Kyushu trip. Everything is in order and the room is comfy. Location js great and the owner is responsive. Private onsen is awesome. No complains, def worth a 5 star stay!

Quickly response and warm welcome. The outdoor onsen is pretty good. The view is good. However, in Jan, outside the bedroom is too cold, recommend to install heater.

Good location close by to Lake Kinrin and some eateries but most important thing was the in-unit onsen facility which we really maximised! We rented a car to get to Yufuin and so having a parking right in front of the room was very important. Only minor negative point was that we were not given the entry code prior to arrival. It was not until I reached the property and realised I needed a code and had to call the helpline who promptly gave me the code. Otherwise all good!
