I was at this hotel for a 2 night stay in May 2023 for a work conference (which was also at the hotel). The room was fantastic - spotlessly clean with comfortable bed, nice bedding, large room and bathroom, cool bathtub, and all the amenities you’ll need. Room service food was great, and I appreciated free bottles of water in the room daily. The hotel isn’t in the thick of things from what I could tell, but it’s easy to get around Seoul, which is a fantastic city. The view over the river could not be beat. Overall I’d definitely recommend this high class hotel.

1. Location: Located right in front of Gongdeok Subway Station (Seoul Subway Line 5, Line 6, AREX and the Gyeongui–Jungang Line) which links to Incheon International Airport. Very convenient, but the station is big and a bit complicated. 2. Amenities: Cafe and restaurants are just opposite hotel. Hotel itself has a seven eleven. Nearby hotel has a Olive young too. 3. Room is cleaned daily. Provided additional lighting as per request.smooth checkin and checkout. 4a. Room has 3 Pin plugs but the one at desk is badly position. Better to get additional adapter plug to increase the height so that u can use it smoothly. 4b. Surprisingly, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand wash n lotion are provided. But no supply of toothbrush and toothpaste. 4c. There is a small step to trap the water from flowing out of bathtub to other part of the bathroom. 4d. Slipper is provided, but its very flat, no cushioning. Better to bring your own. Overall, the stay is good. Room (deluxe twin) is big, can put 2 big size luggage and still have a 2 seater sofa.

Lokasinya juga bagus kerana berdekatan dengan stesen, tetapi ia sangat bagus untuk mempunyai kemudahan yang selesa berdekatan! Sebuah kafe dan kedai serbaneka berada di tingkat 1! Bilik-bilik bersih dan kakitangan sangat ramah. Salah satu hotel terbaik yang saya pernah menginap! Sayang sekali saya tidak dapat tinggal lebih lama lagi. Mereka berkata ia adalah restoran sarapan pagi yang sangat bagus, dan sarapannya sangat lazat. Saya fikir saya akan sentiasa melakukan percutian saya di sini!

First off the good: The place is cheap and located in the center of Hongdae. That's about it. Now the bad stuff: The place is not very clean. Showers are moldy and my (fresh) bedsheets were covered with hair. There are also lots of mosquitos, I got 5 bites in just one night. Now THE WORST: The day I came I accidentally chose the wrong entrance and ended up in a different room (supposed to be for other guests). I didn't know that then, so I took a quick shower and waited for a reply from the owner. I ended up finding the right dormitory. The next day the owner texts me and tells me to pay 10.000 Won for the cleaning service of the bathroom I've used (that's almost the price for a night in a dormitory but ok). He supposedly checked CCTV footage to ”prove” that I used the room. He then told me to leave and find another hostel. An English-speaking manager was also extremely rude and offensive to me. Please save up money and book a different hostel!

Personally, I can't find anything bad about this hostel. I booked double room and triple room. - Price: Very reasonable - Location: Near to Seoul Metro and all stop AREX (going to and fro airport is definitely not an issue) - Full size towel provided - Coin laundry available - Excellent floor heating system. And I think the bed is also with heating system - Spacious, for the price I paid - In room, there is this charging hub - very very useful and considerate! (I attached the picture herewith): This is my favourite! - Having the sink outside from the bath is a plus point - The staffs speaks good English - Would definitely return if visiting Seoul again.

Fantastic communication from Mary, great location, perfect for families or groups. Large mezzanine room with queen sized bed, pull out queen bed underneath and 4 single beds above. Right at the steps of Hongik Uni Exit 1. No Netflix, just Korean TV. Lovely electric blanket. Washing machine, heater, fan, fridge and cooking amenities. Keypad entrance so can self check in. The bathroom shower tiling is a little run down, the shower is warm but not hot hot. I booked last minute as a solo traveller not knowing the city and paid a pretty price for the location, should have researched more and saved some money staying in Sinchon or other surrounding areas. Nothing to do with the accommodation, that was my own error. However, if you want to be right in the heartbeat of Hongdae with multiple guests this is your place. I enjoyed my stay.

The location is very good, near the Forest walk in front of Hongdae station, good neighborhood as it’s not the noisy side of Hongdae. However, the owners might not always be present at the house so it’s hard to get help from them if you don’t have a local number to call. We left our luggage at the house on our checkout date and have told them that we would be back at 1pm. However, no one was at home when we went to retrieve our luggages. Just something to be mindful of for future guests.
