This hotel has an all in all really good score from my experience 8/10! I love it and would definitely like to book it again for my next time Shanghai trip. 😁
It’s very new and clean, plus it’s in an extremely good location (5-10mins walk to everything including subway station in the civic)! I value these the most! Amazing!
The room size is very decent for family of 3 (with a 20months old baby runing around) and the room cleaning service is always very punctual and effective. The hotel is keeping parcel and delivery 📦 for customers which made my days easy and convenient. 😛 There are many storages in the room so good for those cleaning and tidy-up freaks!!!!
The issues I had during my stay were some details in management/operation after a grand opening a month ago but this new hotel is definitely need to be improved/rectified in below areas after testing period and that’s the whole point I’m providing all below sincere advice for reference:
1. No emergency response in the late night. For example can’t have cleaning team to change the dirty bedding (my daughter got **** onto it during nappy change, oppps …) 🥸.
2. Unstable hot water systems. Switches between hot and cold at random.
3. Blocked shower room floor waste, nearly flushed the room.
4. Hotel’s name can’t match the address on Baidu map which is hard for navigation.
5. No obvious landline 📞 number and facility to connect with the reception easily. I can only call from the booking app.
6. HVAC system is heat or fan only, the cooling doesn’t work making the room very stuffy.
7. Apartment style hotel with kitchen but without cutlery’s and basic appliances to function the kitchen.
8. No fly screen on the big glass window so bugs may creeps in in the summer.
