Ulasan Fairmont Peace Hotel

I’ve lived and traveled around China for 6 years and have been to Shanghai countless times trying many different types and levels of hotels. The Fairmont Peace Hotel is by the far the best I’ve ever experienced in Shanghai thus far. The service at check in was fantastic and friendly and so accommodating. The lady spoke perfect English which helped me a lot and went so far as to walk us to our room and explain some key points. All staff are wonderful and smiling and so willing to help. The room was clean and quiet and had all the modern finishings to make life easy while blended into a beautiful and traditional style. The Jazz Band is a must see and the small museum is lovely. The Phoenix Restaurant produced some delicious food. Overall I cannot stop singing the praises of this hotel. Also location is fantastic for tourists. Right on the Bund and close to subway stations and taxi pickup points if needed.

What a wonderful experience and special treat! The room, hotel tour, jazz band, birthday cake for my husband and breakfast were truly memorable. Huge thanks to Al of the staff!

Awesome historical hotel that includes a free museum tour. Couldn’t be in a better location. Get Sassoon’s suite if you can.

It was amazing experience for us. We’ve traveled so many places around the world, this hotel was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. We only stayed for 3 nights for Christmas, it’s holiday season, everything so beautiful. Great location and services, it was above my expectations except for the foods. When I booked, it didn’t include breakfast, we had to pay extra fees for it. Honestly, it’s okay to try, but not worthy （If you get it free, that’s awesome). Lots of selection, but wasn’t what I expected. It’s pricey, over $500 RMB for 2 one time only. Overall it’s perfect, I would stay there again when I visit Shanghai.

WOW, the hotel and staff are incredible. We have stayed at the Peace Hotel several times over the years and have always been well taken care of. This time was even more special as we got engaged here! I reached out to staff, who were more than accommodating in helping me plan the perfect proposal. A huge appreciation to Lily, Gordon, and the whole Fairmont Gold team for going above and beyond in making our stay one we will always remember. We stayed in the American Suite, and it was pure old world charm. Having stayed in luxury hotels world wide, I can truly say that this hotel and service is one of a kind! We can't wait for our next stay!

Probably it’s the best hotel I’ve stayed in. Very beautiful interior (art deco style), big room, tasty breakfast, helpful stuff. I was very surprised when I said I want to buy their umbrella and the manager told me it’s a gift.

The Iconic Peace Hotel is in a league of its own. It flawlessly integrates its historical " Paris of the East" roots with efficient and understated modernity, delivering spectacular hospitality. Not to be missed if one is looking for a place to stay in Shanghai.

Staff are well trained and knowledgeable. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.

It was a family trip. We stayed 2 nights in the Peace Hotel. Everything was prefect. The facilities, the atmosphere and staff made our trip a memorable one. We would be back again.

Had an amazing stay at the hotel around Christmas time. The hotel is situated right on the Bund and had an incredibly inviting atmosphere, especially during the festive season. The rooms were very spacious, clean, and had all the amenities as expected of a 5 star hotel. Every staff we meet were very attentive and greeted us by name. Special thanks to Ms Evanta in the Gold Lounge who went above and beyond our expectations to make our stay special.

I had a fantastic stay at the Fairmont Peace Hotel Shanghai from June 4-6, 2024. The hotel’s location on the Bund is perfect for exploring Shanghai's vibrant cityscape. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable. A personal greeting from the General Manager added a special touch that made me feel truly valued. My room was luxurious and well-appointed, offering a breathtaking view of the city. The breakfast was superb, with a diverse selection of delicious options. I also had a memorable dining experience at their restaurant, where both the food and service were outstanding. Fairmont Peace Hotel Shanghai provided an exceptional stay, and I can't wait to return. Highly recommended!

Great historic place and impressive service. The hotel is quite old, it’s part of an experience, but you can get a very modern, luxurious and comfortable conditions in Shanghai for smaller price.
