Ulasan Novotel Shanghai Atlantis

Overall, I had a positive experience staying at this hotel. The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore the area. My room was on a high floor with a breathtaking view—definitely a highlight of my stay. The breakfast was a unique experience, served in a revolving restaurant on the 50th floor with a stunning 360-degree panoramic view of the city. However, there were some drawbacks. The shower had a faint sewage odor, and I noticed a bit of mold in the corners. Unfortunately, I also cut myself on a sharp edge of the sink while washing my hands, which was quite unpleasant. Another issue was the hot water in the shower—it took more than 5 minutes to get warm, and there was even a notice about this on the wall. Despite these inconveniences, I still enjoyed my stay. The positives outweigh the negatives, and I would recommend this hotel to others, though it could use some improvements.

The front desk Anne inteoduced the swimming pool,gym and other facilities and equipment and also helped me plan the travel in Shanghai.I stayed for 4 Days ,,satisfied with everything especially the Taxi to Pudong Airport,the driver helped me make sure which airport,and helped me with my luggage.The journey was smooth.Really a wonderful trip to Shanghai,this hotel is always my first choices!

Room:Came here in family with 3kids ,I booked exclusive family room booking only available in Trip.com, and got big surprise , room is so big like a suite with 2 bedroom (one with 2 single bed, and master bedroom with walking closet and jacuzzi with pearl tower view! The room is best spot for countdown 2025 with view of all iconic building in the bund, hotel a bit far from nearest station but with 5 people including kid, didi is good options. Breakfast at 50th floor revolving floor is excellent, more on Chinese food but American bf is ok also, and the restaurant manager Andy Lau is very helpful, special gift for my 3 kids on checkout day at restaurant are 3 dolls for each of them, Thank you very much

The room and bathroom were big and spacious. The breakfast buffet was also very delicious and the roating view is wonderful 😀

Our room was at the 40th floor and the view was amazing! There is a coffee shop right outside the property and a shopping center as well. We only walked from the hotel to the train station! The room was clean every-time we got back from touring outside. View from the pool area was really nice too!

The location of the hotel is excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant manager, Andy was extremely helpful and accommodating. Will consider to stay at this hotel again in future.

Dated hotel with good facilities in a pretty convient location.

We had a great time in our stay here in Novotel, great view also. Downside is you have to carry your luggage on your own.

Our family room was located on the 39th floor, the window was small. But the room is very spacious and comfortable. A comfortable bed. I really enjoyed the breakfast, the Europeans will appreciate it positively. Interesting revolving restaurant, I wanted to have dinner in it. The view in the evening should be more beautiful than in the morning.

The location is incredibly convenient close to popular attractions. It’s just a 10-minute walk to the nearest metro station, making it easy to get around the city. I like the view from the hotel, you can see the Huangpu River.

Please do go by name… it’s Novotel Atlantis just for name but the hotel is not maintained … my air condition didn’t work .. I was sweating and then had to open the room window… they had no sham saying that AC is not working…

Enjoyed our stay. Although room did get quite warm overnight as aircon didn't work well. Buffet breakfast was well worth it on the 50th floor. Shower was great pressure and very hot. Free bottled water supplied daily was a great addition. View from 34th floor was great.

Overall the hotel is a bit old (built in 2000) which you note on several occasions. The staff is friendly and tries to circumvent the conditions. Swimming pool was nice, also the breakfast in the 50th floor was pretty cool. They had some western breakfast options, but of course mostly Chinese food, which had a good quality. The location is still good, not too far from the metro. Next to the hotel there is an Aldi supermarket, Subway and a place where you can grab some coffee. For us the room (family suite) was bad. It had a slight smell of cold cigarette smoke. The power outlets didn't work with European plugs (which didn't happen in other hotels in China), so they offered an adapter. The ventilation wasn't good and there was no working air conditioning in the room. We told them and the answer was that it is simply like that. You couldn't open the windows, probably due to the height (31st floor). We stayed on Novotel before and for us this specific hotel couldn't keep up with the expectations we put into the brand. Overall it was rather disappointing. We would not recommend this hotel to our friends.
