My stay here far exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is fantastic, just a few minutes' walk from the subway station. It boasts a great terrace with views of the subway and a park, making getting around incredibly convenient. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The front desk staff were efficient and professional during check-in; I got my room card very quickly. There's even a piano in the lobby! The room was spacious with efficient air conditioning and a private bathroom. It was clean and tidy, and the mattress was comfortably soft. If you forget any toiletries, the front desk provides a full range of complimentary items. The security guard was exceptionally kind to guests, helping us open doors and carry luggage. Overall, the atmosphere felt warm and comfortable. What's more, there's a free gym, a home theater room, and a huge communal kitchen. I even saw someone with a pet, so it's pet-friendly too! To stay in such an apartment in Shanghai for just over 100 RMB is incredible value for money. I genuinely recommend this hotel!

Honestly, I'm thoroughly disappointed with this Base Hotel! Every stay has been a terrible experience, and the service attitude is just awful. The old man at the front desk had a sour face the entire check-in process, his tone perfunctory and impatient, as if I was begging to stay there. It felt like I owed him millions just to check in. There was absolutely no sense of service or basic politeness throughout. Even more ridiculous, basic room amenities were severely missing: no toothbrushes, no bottled water. I had to go downstairs to the front desk specifically to ask for everything. The most frustrating part was that you could only get one toothbrush per day. I couldn't even ask for a few extra for backup. Staying at a hotel and having to constantly run around begging for basic supplies is an utterly terrible experience! As a service industry, with such poor attitude and lack of basic amenities, they can't even guarantee a fundamental check-in experience. They clearly don't care about their guests. I genuinely wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone; it's just paying money to get frustrated. And the hygiene was terrible, the room reeked of cigarette smoke!!!!!

This is my second time staying in Shanghai, and after two years, it's still just as well-maintained. The uncle at the front desk and the young ladies were all very nice and enthusiastic! The night view outside the window is also beautiful, and it's super convenient for getting around, very close to the subway!

Both rooms I stayed in had washing machines with a drying function, which was quite convenient. They even provided a small packet of laundry detergent. Room 328 was a loft room with a sofa, and Room 528 had a TV.

This hotel is very comfortable for people who work remotely. There is a convenient desk in the room where you can comfortably sit and work on a laptop. In addition, there are many well-designed working areas throughout the hotel — both on the ground floor and on the residential floors — which makes it easy to change your workspace during the day. The hotel also has a gym. It’s not very large, but it is well-equipped and comfortable for regular workouts. Overall, a great option for combining work and daily life.

What a terrible check-in experience. This place is definitely a no-go for anyone sensitive to noise. They gave me a loft room, and the table had obvious dust that hadn't been cleaned, along with white debris that looked like peeling paint. There were stains in other corners too, too many to list. The noise coming from all directions was ridiculous. Since it was a loft, the bed was near the wall, so every step from upstairs made the room shake. The refrigerator, probably a cheap, shoddy one, made a regular, intermittent buzzing sound. The air conditioning was also very loud; you'd have to turn it off to sleep. I don't know if it was a subway tunnel underground, but there was a regular, loud vibrating noise. 😅 I've never stayed in such an 'amazing' hotel. This was a terrifying experience I'll never forget. Absolutely, definitely do not stay here! Everything about it was absurd – the room design, the materials used, and it was the first time I've ever seen a hotel charge for robot room service.

Excellent! The room is very new and clean. The facilities include a gym and a meeting room, and the common area allows for movie projections, making it a fantastic apartment. The location is also superb, with a park right downstairs.

It's super close to the subway station, which is a huge plus for someone like me who's terrible with directions. The hotel staff even helped me with my luggage when I arrived, which was a really nice touch. At night, you can see the lights of Wujiaochang, giving it that big city vibe. I'd definitely come back again.

I arrived quite late, but check-in was smooth. The room had a fantastic view of Huangxing Park, and the cleanliness was impeccable. In the morning, the front desk staff enthusiastically recommended some great breakfast spots nearby, which saved me the hassle of searching around. Very satisfied, highly recommend.

The location is great, right at the intersection, and easy to find. It's a good place for a solo traveler, with all the essentials you need.

Extremely bad. The ocean noise was very loud; I couldn't sleep at all at night. The room layout was impractical; I had to go downstairs to use the restroom. The stairs were very dangerous. The environment was also dirty, with a lot of dust inside the room. There were no curtains, so it didn't block out the light, making it impossible to get good rest. Definitely avoid this hotel.
