This hotel is ideal for transit passengers for 2-3 days, not very far from Maglev and the metro station. It is clean enough as the hotel itself and the rooms.

Finally found a relatively quiet hotel near Century Park! Stayed in a Premier room (with windows onto the central circular courtyard) which was almost like a small suite. The biggest advantage we found over the neighbouring Kerry Hotel was that there was much less disruption of our sleep by neighbouring customers letting doors slam, when we were trying to get much-needed sleep after travelling. The room wasn't very modern, very much an older 'angular dark wood surfaces, no carpet' style, but was very clean and comfortable nonetheless and the AC worked just fine. Was encouraged to see other non-Chinese staying at the hotel. Breakfast was good, with a reasonable number of Western options. We initially found it quite difficult to get the extra pillows we requested, but our persistence paid off. The English comprehension level of the desk staff generally was only moderate, but the concierge and the lady running the excellent hotel gym understood us perfectly.

Located just off exit 17 of the subway. The front staff was friendly and helpful. The floor of the room is not carpeted, which is clean and cool. Mineral water is always available in the bathroom as well as drinking water. The room is equipped with a device to repel insects, which is very thoughtful. It is also good to be able to charge the battery with a card even when the room is not occupied. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide variety of dishes. There are many restaurants nearby. I would like to use this hotel again when I go to Shanghai.

However, there was one significant drawback that affected my stay. The walls in the hotel seemed to be paper-thin, which meant that I could hear every sound coming from the neighboring rooms. Whether it was the flushing of a toilet or someone taking a shower, the lack of soundproofing was quite noticeable. This resulted in a lack of privacy and disrupted my sleep at times. Despite this issue, I must commend the hotel on its cleanliness and comfortable rooms. The location was also convenient, with easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions. The hotel is just next to Longyang Road Metro, Exit 3, making it very easy for travelers to get around. There are many food options nearby, which is very convenient. It’s also a good spot for those taking the Maglev train or metro to the airport, while still being close to the Bund. The reception staff are polite and helpful, making the stay feel welcoming. Plus, there’s a self-service laundry on level 4.

This is my first time traveling to Shanghai, and it’s absolutely amazing! I chose to stay in Maixinge Boutique Hotel (Shanghai Oriental Pearl Tower) and everything was perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was near to the metro station. The room was great and clean, but sometimes I could hear others talking through the wall. And what I like the most about breakfast was dumplings soup. Next time I would stay here again. Thanks for your kind and helpful. Also thanks for souvenirs too.

We are very happy with our stay in this hotel. It is very clean and the staff are very friendly, courteous and helpful. The hotel comes with common laundry area with washing machine and dryer - a very useful features and the staff will help to put them in dryer if you indicated that drying is required after washing.
