Qianbai Hotel (Shenzhen Huaqiang North Subway Station Branch)

It's more like an AirBnb rather than a hotel as the floor that we stay was not exlusively for the hotel. Some units were occupied as offices. Not suitable for non-smokers since they had no control over other tenants who smoked. As non-smokers, we hated that people smoked in their offices and corridors assmoke permeated through the gap below our door during our stay. After checking in, we found that it was not the Deluxe 2-bed room (2 x queen beds meant for 4 persons) that we booked and paid. It was a big bed + sofa bed. No toilet paper holder, no shampoo/soap holder, no towel rack contrary to what was adversed online. Even the cheaper Premium 2-bed or Boutique Queen room had them according to the online images. Called the reception and was told to either move out and get a refund or stay and difference would be refunded. We opted for the latter as we were tired of looking for another hotel at the last minute. It is now more than 1.5 month since our stay and we are yet to receive the refund. We gave the owner an opportunity to make amend by sending him an email reminder about 1-week ago before posting this review. Needless to say, we are yet to receive the refund on the difference paid.

Great location! Walking distance to the walking street of huaqiangbei. Many good food around. I walked down the street and had the crispy pork belly soup that was soo soo good
