We recently stayed at the stunning Taj Theog Resort & Spa, Shimla, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The resort is nestled in the breathtaking beauty of the mountains, offering panoramic views that instantly relax the soul. We were fortunate to stay in one of their villa rooms, which provided not only luxurious comfort but also interiors that perfectly blended traditional Himachali design with a modern touch. Every detail, from the elegant furnishings to the sweeping views, made our stay extraordinary. The hospitality at Taj Theog was exceptional, thanks to the incredibly warm and welcoming staff. Special thanks to Neeraj, Bhandari Ram Sharma, Preeti, Vishal, Ayush, Chef Aman, Simi, and Judhit for making our stay truly joyful. The entire F&B team, particularly Ms. Neeraj and Mr. Bhandari, made us feel right at home. Chef Aman’s dishes were simply delicious, ranging from local Himachali cuisine to exotic flavors. Additionally, the spa at the resort was a highlight—offering a deeply healing and rejuvenating experience. We are immensely grateful to the team for their hospitality, and we highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a luxurious retreat in the heart of the mountains. A must-visit!

Our stay at Taj Theog was very comfortable. The hotel is about an hour drive from Shimla but the views from the place are awesome. We had rooms on two sides of hotel and both were equally good. The spa at the Theog is a great experience and worth every penny. Theog site said guided hikes around the property and most of the time in the properties I have stayed the hike is free. Though it is not mentioned upfront a cost is involved they changed ₹1500 per person plus taxes. I had breakfast and dinners both days I stayed there and the local Himachal food prepared were delicious. The staff around the restaurant especially Neeraj and Bhandari were there to make sure we were well taken care of. Puris with peas filling and apple pickle on the side was very delicious. One thing if needs improvement in the menu is the sambar. Definitely needs some work.

Our stay at Taj Theog was nothing short of fantastic! The breathtaking views from the property added to the charm of our vacation. The food was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options that catered to all our tastes. The service was impeccable, with special thanks to Mr. Deepak, the manager at the restaurants, whose dedication and warm hospitality, ***** with his team’s efforts, made our family vacation truly memorable. The rooms were spotless and exuded a sense of cleanliness and comfort. We can’t wait to return!

Amazing stay. Amazing staff. Beautiful views of the valley. Right from our check-in, the duty Manager Sachin was super helpful. Whenever we met him during our stay, he was always smiling and answered all our queries patiently. We were upgraded to the duplex room. Yayyyy. Our room was ready with a nice surprise of balloon decorations and cake to celebrate our special occasion. Special mention to the chefs for cooking yummy meals. We were traveling with our 9 mo infant. The baby cot and the special meals prepared by the chefs as per baby’s requirement made our stay super comfortable. Dina and Bhandari ji at the restaurant made our meal times to look forward too. We always chose the outside seating for the beautiful views. And the staff was always there to help with the recommendations and with baby too. Do try the restaurant Patiala Room. Highly recommended. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were a lot of fun for our baby. We all really enjoyed our time there. All in all a superb stay and we will surely be visiting again. Hopefully my baby will be older to enjoy the indoor and outdoor play area. Once again a special thank you to Sachin, Dina, Bhandariji and the chefs.

In my last 20 years of business & personal travel, I had one of the worst stays. It’s not a Taj Brand property per our stay experience. No one cares what guests need, whether they are waiting for some food, has been ordered, refilling way and the timing was pathetic; not even a single management is bothered by what's happening at breakfast; the chef has no idea because he is least bothered to give any personal attention to guests, cleanliness and hygiene is at the one-star hotel level, I have reference pictures if someone will approach me I will share. The best part is during my three-night stay I must hast given the feedback 6 times and no one was bothered to improve. For me the fundamentals of the property are not correct. It comes from top management and I have never seen Mr. Chugh ever In the breakfast area dispute the factor he was aware they a family staying for multiple nights and not happy. What could be worst we were eating out food driving 27 km all the way to Wild Flower Hall every day and ordering from outside dinner.
