We loved the ambience and hospitality of the staff . It was our first visit to Oberoi property in India . We enjoyed our stay. Food quality and variety and cleanliness in hotel was excellent. Looking forward to visit again soon.we visited on the day of our wedding anniversary . Staff of Oberoi made our day special .

Our experience at the Cecil Oberoi Hotel was a lovely one. Our room was so comfortable with the option of choosing your own pillows. The meals with a lot to choose from. Every evening main dishes on offer changed, which was nice as we got to try different dishes. A special shout to the staff - they were brilliant! The Restaurant team were accommodating. We were impressed with Nupur's warmth and excellent customer service. She made an effort to converse with us and even remembered the way I drank my coffee. I booked in a facial and received fantastic treatment from Nelubli who did my facial. THANK YOU to the entire Team! The Wildflower Hall - a part of the Cecil Oberoi Group was a great experience too. From the regal uniform of the staff, to the High Tea to the grand rooms with intricate woodwork, everything was so immaculate. The views from outside the Hall were stunning. If you visit Shimla, don't miss out on touring the Wildflower Hall and experiencing the High Tea.

Our stay was beautiful. Chef Rajkumar went over and above to make our stay pleasant. Served us with the most exquisite dishes. He made bhuna ghost for us which we relished a lot. The entire staff was amazing and took very good care of us. Nikhil took great care of us.

The Oberoi Cecil is located at Chaura Maidan and it is a beauty to look at ! The hotel is has a stunning architecture and ther service is class apart. I've paid multiple visits to the property and you need to go here for the experience. The staff is extremely polite and courteous. Their attention to detail is on point. From fresh flowers placements to live piano plays, they take the experience to the next level. The rooms are cosy and provide stunning views. Cleanliness is absolute proper and well maintained. They also have parking available and ease of distance to many well known spots in and nearby Shimla. The prices fall under the expensive category but it is absolutely every coin worth ! The food is good. Chefs can offer customizations if your have certain allergies or following any diet. The Himachali Cuisine section is something you should really go for, as the preparation is fantastic. Personally I would recommend to please try their Cocktails. I've had such a pleasant experience and they are delicious. Cosmopolitans are highly recommended ! Highly recommended for a short stay in Shimla and please ask for Mr.Rahul Dhiman at the front office, one of the most friendly and excellent at service staff at the hotel :)

Words cannot express my love for this property and how much my family loved coming here from all the way to delhi!!! The food , the property and the most amazing thing was the hospitality, i was amazed by the staff here starting with the sweetest person on board Ms Swati , ( GM ) she made sure that we have a very comfortable stay and even made it too special for us by decorating our room for our father as it was his 50 th Birthday !!!!! All the staff available here in the hotel are quick , extremely sweet and i would love to be here again and again. Please ask for chef’s special food and request for Chef rajkumar’s food because it wasss amazingggggg

The waffle made by Mr. Rajkumar was the crunchiest waffle I've ever had ... the stay was great and each and every small requirement was taken care of very nicely... even the people at the reception were very courteous.... the best part about my trip was staying at Oberoi Cecil

The experience was outstanding and fascinating. We celebrated our wedding Anniversary and you made it more colorful and beautiful with your great hospitality. Great location ,great heritage look and old fascinating interior which we miss during our stay in 5 star hotels. Room service was prompt and with lot of love and welcome. Priyanka thakur is very helpful and great staff of your made us feel very comfortable. She is a great asset to your hotel. Ganlas.

Very historic hotel but still has all the modern comforts you'd need. Excellent service at all points of contact, great food and beautiful views of the valley. They put on a bonfire in the evenings in the outdoor bar area too which is magical.
