We were given room 7. Avoid this room or you would hear kids and parents shouting at each other mornings and evenings on the way to their bedroom. Which makes for a short night of sleep. This is probably the leftover room that nobody wants and they keep during august to generate some extra revenue. And it is not sold at a discount. Dinner was average especially for galicia. Fish was over cooked and not well presented, the waitress was kind, we were alone in the restaurant. Finally on check out we were asked to pay the extras, which is fine. Yet no one asked us if we were pleased with our stay, which is a golden rule in 5* hotels. Lack of training or lack of customer attention or interest? We were very disappointed and will not return in September which was our original idea. We booked directly but the night rate was also cheaper on Booking , which is quite unusual...

The hotel had attractive decor, was clean, modern and in a convenient position for exploring Vigo (lots to see!) on foot. I had a spacious apartment for my one-night stay, including a large comfortable bed, a separate living room and a bathroom. It was nice to have a living ”happy plant” in the bathroom, with the hotel stating feng shui principles had been used in design, and that every room was different. It was quiet. The windows above the desk were adorned with a lovely landscape photograph. They, and the bigger curtained windows, had a courtyard and hotel swimming pool view. As there were people using the pool and sunbaking, I had to keep the windows closed most of the time I was there in daylight. The desk had power sockets, which I always appreciate - and it's not the case everywhere. Wi-Fi worked well. There were great tv choices, for example, I watched a Lord of the Rings movie. There was a fridge and a safe. No electric jug, but possibly they would've given me one had I asked. The bathroom had a large sink, but not much bench space for toiletries, while the shower was good, with the temperature easy to adjust. (No bath, and tissues weren't provided.) My stay was on a Sunday which meant while cafes and restaurants were open, supermarkets and other stores weren't. I had a reasonably good room service meal at the hotel, and a good Spanish beer. The breakfast was just ok - no salad or potato dishes, mostly meat, cheese and sweets (maybe cereals, can't recall). Staff were helpful, particularly the woman on the night desk (the man who gave me a map earlier, and directions, was perhaps very busy, and less engaged). Overall, the hotel was good value and a good choice.

Alojamiento del 23 al 24 de Enero. No es la primera vez que me alojo en este hotel, y para mi nada defrauda. En esta ocasión dormí en un habitación individual pequeña, el nombre y fotos ya lo dicen, pero para nada me sentí defraudado. Habitación pequeña, si, pero con todas las comodidades. Por otro lado, llegue antes de las 15,00 h, y se hicieron cargo del equipaje. Personal de recepción excepcional. En pocos hoteles, incluidos algunos de 4 estrellas en Vigo, me hicieron sentir como en casa. Gracias por el trato recibido, y yo repetiré, cuando vuelva a Vigo, bien para ver a mi Celta, como por otros motivos

The hotel was very easy to find being located in central areas of Vigo, next to Urzaiz. Rooms and public areas were clean and well-maintained. Must have been quite recently refurbished. Friendly staff and good customer service. The breakfast was better than I expected and I really recommend that option if you are staying in this hotel. The breakfast was better than generally in hotels of this price range. The elevator is small if you have any baggage. Probably it has been built into an old elevator shaft which would be technically quite hard to enlarge. Other than that it's hard to find anything negative as the hotel was really good especially compared to its cheap prices.

PPengguna TetamuThis was a very clean and comfortable hotel. I had an interior room and the window was very small. Especially if you anticipate jetlag and find light helpful to adjust, this room type may not be for you. In the room there was a refrigerator with minibar items. And an espresso machine. Also a tea kettle. The English of the people at the front desk was good. And I was able to check in early, which was much appreciated after travel.

Traffic was terrible but the staff offered off street parking for $15 which we jumped on. Room was small but spotlessly clean. They serviced the room daily. Desk people went above and beyond in making arrangements for tours and suggesting places to eat and visit. The continental breakfast was well prepared and displayed. View from that terrace overlooking the city. When you first get into the area, you have concerns about the neighborhood. Once you are settled, realize that it’s the graffiti everywhere but the area itself is average folk…Just like us! Within walking distance of old town and pedestrian shopping street.

PPengguna TetamuWe started our summer holiday in Vigo and had 4 nights in Maroa hotel. We booked a room with balcony, even though we could see it was a quite small one. Check in was smooth and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I needed help to find a place to buy water for my contact lenses, and they showed me a few places where I might be able to find it, and they were right. The room itself was huge and so was the bathroom. The tv was a bit old and small, and the amount of programmes was very limited, so don't expect to spend time watching TV at night. The balcony was rather small as expected, but could fit a chair out there, where I could sit and read a book. Could have used another chair and maybe a little table, so both of us could have sat outside. Breakfast was good although not the same variety as in a large hotel. However, we got a brilliant service and eggs the way we wanted them each morning. Also the view from the rooftop is amazing at all hours of the day. A strange thing that I've never experienced before, was that the cleaning lady didn't take the tip I had laid on the bed. That was just put on my desk when she cleaned the room. Can recommend this for location, staff, views and breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay at the Atlantico. It's very-well located, right in the centre of Vigo and within easy walking distance of the old town, but at the same time nice and quiet - our room looked out onto the main avenue but noise wasn't an issue. For anyone who's walking the Camino (as we were) it's ideal. We particularly appreciated the warm and friendly reception we got (from Sandra) when we arrived :) We would be happy to stay here again.

PPengguna TetamuHotel familiar muy céntrico a pocos pasos de la estación de tren que está junta al centro comercial Vialia. Habitación muy limpia como también las zonas comunes. Personal muy amable. Recepción 24 horas abierta. Quiero nombrar a Francisco de recepción, muy amable y servicial. Ofrecen también desayuno. Calidad /precio perfecto. Hotel 100% recomendable. Volveremos.

PPengguna TetamuEstas vacaciones mi pareja y yo hemos dormido en varias pensiones, albergues, hostales y desgraciadamente este ha sido el más caro y el menos bueno. 90 euros la noche por una habitación pequeña, en un hotel que está lejos del centro (7 km), con aparcamiento pero para 9 coches y un lavabo amplio pero muy poco equipado, nos pusieron 2 sobrecitos de champú y 2 de gel que no llegaban ni para enjabon**** un brazo, tuvimos que usar nuestro propio champú para ducharnos. El desayuno estaba bueno, pero para ser lo que es lo encontramos caro. Como nota positiva, las habitaciones estaban limpias, el personal era muy amable, y al margen de estas pequeñas cosas nuestra estancia fue cómoda y agradable, solo que lo encontramos un poco caro para lo que el hotel ofrecía.

PPengguna TetamuŚwietna lokalizacja w centrum Vigo. Bardzo blisko do przystanków autobusowych. Niewiele dalej do dworca kolejowego czy autobusowego. W pobliżu dużo restauracji, a także piekarnie czy sklepy. Pokój całkiem przestronny i ładnie urządzony. Czysty i codziennie sprzątany. Dobrze wyciszony. Wi-fi czy klimatyzacja działały bez problemów. Może kilka mankamentów bym znalazł (np. bardzo mała lodówka), ale wszystkie rekompensuje widok na port i estuarium Vigo. Bajka. Łazienka przyjemna i funkcjonalna. Do obsługi żadnych uwag.

In desperate need of some TLC. Studio apartment,no kettle asked and got one straight away. No toaster but not a problem as we decided to take breakfast in the hotel. Bathroom vent full of thick dust and fluff and had to insist that they clean it. Scandinavia type furniture which didn't really work with the pink marble floors. Bed was comfy. Reception helpful and pleasant. Would have had the New year gala dinner in the associated restaurant but at the asking price of 250 euros per person no way. Tremendous promotion of Vigo for Christmas and the illuminations from the Mayor of Vigo but absolutely not geared for tourism. 1st of January and everything closed. Definitely not recommend in winter.
