Ulasan Rambutan Resort – Siem Reap

The hotel was very nice and it was relaxing to swim in the pool and have a nice drink after long hot days. The food was decent. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. I especially loved the bathtub on the balcony. The bed was comfortable as well.

I stayed here for half a month, and I found the bed firmness to be just right for Chinese people – neither too soft nor too hard, which was quite comfortable. The only downside was that the lighting was a bit dim. The food was absolutely delicious.

The room was great, and the service was very good and welcoming. The hotel food was also excellent.

I have stayed at the Rambutan five or six times over the last eight years and was always impressed. This time, I booked a two-story poolside room but was told I had been "upgraded" to a smaller room that wasn't poolside. They had obviously done this because they didn't want to run the second half of the hotel — the other side was very dusty and empty because it was low season. But instead of telling me the truth, they tried to make out that they had upgraded me. The rooms and the whole place felt much more run down than before. The local staff tried hard to justify what they had done, but the foreign owner just dismissed me as if it was a meaningless problem. Very disappointed after being a loyal customer for over six years. I will never be going back. Thanks a lot, Rambutan.

This place has dropped off a lot. Running down. Needs a good clean. We booked a 2 floor pool side room and told we were ",upgraded" to a different smaller room. Obviously, this was just so they only have to maintain one side of the hotel in the off season. Pretty disappointed. Stayed here 5 times over the years, will never be back. The local staff did there best. Their foriegn manager clearly doesn't care anymore. It's a shame that a once lovely hotel and gone down hill so much.

The staff were very welcoming. The hotel's location is really convenient, being very close to the bar street, and the breakfast was delicious.

I've got a very good and memorable experience at this hotel. Very stylish design and cosy rooms. The only issue: the prices on minibar are ridiculous: I had to pay 2 dollars for a bottle of water 😐

This amazing hotel absolutely stole my heart! It's gorgeous, decorated with exquisite taste and incredible attention to detail. A special mention goes to the exceptionally friendly and attentive staff: they allowed for an early check-in at no extra cost and were incredibly prompt in addressing all our questions.
