Whilst an unusual and eye-catching colour this was a really interesting and quirky hotel, with a very heavy and ornate wooded interior. Parking was secure and above ground, with plenty of spaces, although a small charge. Rooms were decent and a good size, with OK views Breakfast was the usual continental buffet style, with options for everyone Also a nice relaxing bar area in the lobby which opened til late Five min walk to several nice restaurants and also a supermarket. Would highly recommend !

Large pillow top bed with good quality linen. We were impressed with the large fluffy bath towels and Crabtree & Evelyn free toiletries. The pool was nice after 5.00 pm once the general public were excluded. They sell hourly packages to non-guests and the pool was inundated with children and floating toys at about 3.00 p.m. The air conditioner is positioned below a large desk. There are ventilation holes in the desk about 1 metre to the left of the air conditioner. They didn’t work we couldn’t get the temperature below 25 degrees C. The bathroom fittings and tiles were in good condition, but it reeked of sewage. We could smell it before we entered our room. In fact, you could smell sewage walking around the lower town, especially when you walked over a grated manhole. The hotel gave us a bottle of fabric fragrance to deal with the smell. They said squirt the drapes with it. The room didn’t have any drapes, so we sprayed the shower curtain and the carpet and the bathmat. We put the bin over the drain hole in the floor and kept the bathroom door closed. The one dormer window had an external shutter and an internal blind. Both provided a dark room for a good sleep. The restaurant food was good and reasonably priced. The beer price was surprisingly good for a hotel (18 Ron for 2 x 400 ml Ursus premium draught).

Ottima posizione a pochi minuti a piedi dal centro città, parcheggio privato di fronte all'hotel. Arredamento molto elegante sia delle zone comuni che nelle stanze. La nostra camera era al secondo piano (non c'è l'ascensore) con un bel balconcino affacciato sul giardino e sulla piscina che visto il periodo era ancora chiusa ma d'estate è sicuramente piacevole trascorrere del tempo in relax. Abbastanza spaziosa, letto comodo, il bagno invece molto piccolo, si faceva veramente fatica a muoversi e non c'era spazio per appoggiare il beauty. Colazione a buffet con una buona scelta sia di salato che di dolce. Ottima pulizia e personale gentile.

Everything about this hotel exceeded expectations. Our room was extremely large, bright and cheerful and the staff were extremely obliging and welcoming. It was lovely and quiet, a ten minute walk to a great restaurant (Michelangelo) on the way into town and just one minute to the station. It was exactly what we were looking for and it's also incredibly good value for money.
