The staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean, but the pool was a bit small. There was nothing around.

When we were registering there were police, fire, and ambulance crews responding to what appeared to be a domestic abuse incident at the hotel, didn't exactly make us feel safe in the place. Our bathtub was INCREDIBLY slippery - I almost fell when I got in it the first morning, the refrigerator ”cabinet” door wouldn't stay closed - so each time we passed it we would bang our knee on it. Breakfast options were very limited, not much in the line of fresh fruit and the pastry was all frozen. The only true positive was that it was relatively close to good places to eat and the interstate and we weren't in our room very long either day. Also, I went to the pool on the Saturday of our stay and it was FILTHY - the floor of the pool was COVERED in dirt - I stayed in it less than five minutes, it was DISGUSTING.
