Good hotel. Room a bit small especially the double room, but still comfortable enough. Triple room has mini fridge inside. Location is good, near MRT and bus station. Many choices of depot nearby, as well as minimarket (7eleven)

Honestly speaking, if not because of the entire SG is out of hotel, I wont choose to stay with this type of high price with low maintenance hotel. Specially the old blankets. 🤢

Plus points: + Friendly and helpful staff + Good water pressure + Filtered drinking water easily obtained + Walking distance to Arab Street Minus points: - the air conditioning is centralised system thus cannot be adjusted

Overall, everything else was quite good, and the Chinese staff member was fantastic! However, my low rating is specifically for the male staff member who answered the phone (I'm unsure of his ethnicity). When I called to inquire, I was told check-in was at 2 PM, but upon arriving at the hotel, I was informed that wasn't possible and it would be 3 PM. Later that evening, when I called to ask for blankets, he still had a very heavy accent. While I understand this, it was obvious the customer couldn't comprehend, yet he made no effort to spell anything out. He simply held the phone without saying anything, completely unhelpful and cold. Ultimately, the problem was only resolved after calling again and speaking to a Chinese-speaking lady.

As everyone knows Singapore is not a cheap destination, so this hotel is not that bad for this price.

I booked this hotel for its proximity to work. It's a classic case of 'you get what you pay for'. The room felt a bit dated, but the essential facilities were all present. The cleanliness was acceptable; not sparkling clean, but definitely not dirty. For this price, there's really nothing to complain about. The front desk staff were very friendly.

The hotel facilities are a bit old-fashioned, and their keys are room cards. The environment is very convenient, very close to MRT Bugis
