Booked a one night stay at Sheraton. Location is good, about 10 mins away from Orchard road. Walking distance to Newton Food Centre where there are many yummy local food! Check in process was fast (no crowd), room was ready even though it was only 1pm. We requested for late check out too! Room is big and clean. Comfortable bed. Our room comes with executive lounge access. Free flow of food and drinks from 5:30pm-7:30pm. The staff at the lounge were very helpful and friendly. Amazing service! The breakfast located at level 1, breakfast buffet was delicious. (Except for the pancake, it’s slightly dry). Overall it was a great stay! Service was amazing, will definitely be back again!

Returned to stay again because I liked it the previous time. Thank you for the kind gesture to give us a freeze upgrade (though we didn’t make use of the loft at all). Been to so many hotel stays before but this is the first time seeing a toilet bowl full of pee stain when we lifted up the cover. Informed the concierge, only to have the housekeeping to come in and clean the toilet (just use chemicals to wipe and disinfect) in front of us. There’s no change of room discussion btw. This uncleaned toilet bowl is unacceptable but other than this, I’m ok with the hotel.

Masa daftar masuk yang diberikan kepada kami agak lewat pada 1645hrs dan kami juga terpaksa menunggu sedikit masa lagi kerana bilik belum siap tetapi mereka memberi kami daftar keluar lewat pada 1800hrs serta minuman alu-aluan *****tara kami menunggu minuman kami. Minuman selamat datang agak mengecewakan jadi kami memesan minuman lain di restoran dan saya akan mengatakan perkhidmatannya agak teruk. Kami cuba menghubungi mereka tetapi mereka tidak prihatin dan kami terpaksa berjalan ke arah mereka untuk mendapatkan menu dan lain-lain. Kakitangan hotel lebih prihatin dan terpaksa membantu kami menghantar kakitangan restoran kepada kami untuk mengambil pesanan kami. Mereka juga mendapat salah satu pesanan kami. Di samping itu, bilik itu besar, luas dan hebat, hanya sedikit kesan di sana sini di atas lantai. Hotel itu memberi kami kek hari jadi apabila mengetahui hari jadi tunang saya yang sangat baik daripada mereka. Secara keseluruhan, ia adalah pengalaman yang hebat dan saya pasti akan datang lagi.

This review is long over due. My extended family and I stayed at Oakwood Studios Singapore through most of December 2022 and onto the first week of January 2023. The circumstances around our stay was very difficult but the management and staff at the Oakwood Studios made our stay most comfortable and we can’t thank them enough. This is not your typical service apartment but one with a special touch. And it seems to be popular with expats on short assignments to Singapore and families who have patients being treated at MT E Orchard or many of the other medical facilities across Singapore. Nestled across from York hotel and one building next to Quincy this is a most unique property. I have stayed at both the others in the past but I prefer Oakwood by far with its balcony in every room and clean and modern style with kitchenette. But it’s the people that made all the difference. I would like to specially thank Hitesh for going out of his way and even while on holiday to accommodate our ever changing dates and need for rooms. A big thanks to Nass as well for always stepping up and being most accommodating. Thank you Dan, Denise, Kym, Jet and Shobina for all the help at reception, with the brilliant breakfast boxes and recommendations. The residents loved the Thursday night cocktail and snacks which were complimentary and the many hidden outdoor places in the building (including the roof top pool). A must stay in Singapore for those planning to stay for a week or longer. At the time we were there, we heard that the Ascott group had bought Oakwood Studios. As good as the Ascott brand are themselves, I do hope they allow Oakwood Studios to retain its unique style and personality.

Menginap di bilik deluxe 2 bilik tidur untuk keluarga saya yang terdiri daripada 4 orang, yang jarang ditemui bagi kami. Biasanya kita akan mendapat 2 bilik yang saling bersambung. Tetapi susunan 2 bilik tidur ini dilengkapi dengan ruang tamu yang baik untuk ikatan keluarga. Satu-satunya kelemahan adalah bahawa hanya ada 1 bilik mandi, dan 1 bilik serbuk (kami mengambilnya dengan baik ... memperlakukannya seolah-olah kami makan tinggal di ryokan Jepun yang hanya mempunyai 1 bilik mandi) ... 😄

We stayed here for 4 nights for business and absolutely could not fault a thing - everything was brilliantly thought out and the wonderful staff were a delight; nothing was too much trouble. The hotel has only just opened in the last week and we're sure it will become extremely popular in no time at all. The rooms are immaculately presented and very spacious, we especially enjoyed the little touches like the daily minibar and turndown service. The rain shower was HEAVEN and the beautiful COMO body wash, shampoos, etc. smelled so incredible I wanted to take them all home! Breakfast was included in our rate and was fantastic every single day. The breakfast to order was a highlight and we found there to be plenty of options to keep us satisfied over our 4 night stay. The freshly baked goods every morning are a real treat (balanced out with the delicious fresh fruit, of course). The service is a standout for this new hotel, it was exceptional in every area - everyone is very professional but also super friendly and personable. We thought this was a real point of difference and one of the many reasons we will return to this beautiful property. Every single staff member we interacted with was a delight, but special mentions to hotel staff Reina, Karl, Izhar, Kyle and of course the lovely Ivan in COMO Cuisine who we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with at breakfast every morning. We look forward to returning and checking out the pool/bar area which is nearing completion. See you again soon!

Saya mempunyai penginapan dua malam dari 17 hingga 19 Jul 2021, dan ia adalah penginapan yang menyenangkan. Suka reka bentuk lobi dan bilik, terutamanya kaunter penerimaan tetamu berwarna merah jambu! Mendaftar masuk sekitar jam 4.30 petang dan dihadiri oleh Michael. Seperti sebelum ini saya meminta katil bersaiz king, Michael memberitahu saya bahawa tiada bilik tersedia dan ia akan siap pada jam 5.30 petang. Telah dinaik taraf kepada Bilik PARKROYAL Club Deluxe (bilik sahaja) dan daftar keluar lewat pada jam 2.30 petang, oleh itu tiada masalah. Difikirkan hanya melepak di lobi untuk menghabiskan masa, Michael dengan baik hati menawarkan saya minum di Club 5 mereka. Nasi Lema'rgrita mereka, rasanya sangat tempatan dan unik. 5 minit untuk sampai ke bilik, Michael interkom untuk memastikan semuanya baik-baik saja. Kebetulan semua elektrik terputus dalam masa 30s selepas memasukkan kunci bilik ke dalam slot. Mencubanya selama 5 kali dan ia masih sama, Michael menghantar rakan sekerja penyelenggaraan untuk memeriksa. Satu lagi panggilan datang untuk menyemak semula sama ada semuanya baik-baik saja. Menerima kek hari jadi lewat petang itu, dan panggilan menyusul tidak lama kemudian. Pada 18hb, seorang lagi rakan sekerja turut menelefon untuk memeriksa sama ada semuanya baik-baik saja kerana saya meletakkan tanda 'jangan ganggu'. Terima kasih pasukan untuk susulan yang kerap, syabas! Saya sangat menikmati penginapan saya di sini, dan berharap untuk datang lagi.

We thought that provision of sockets and USB sockets was good, although, as with many hotels, the guest who sleeps on the left side does not have a socket, whereas the other side has all controls. There were several issues, though, which could be improved: Our cases were left in an outside, covered area while waiting for check in. Because we did not think this was secure enough, we were not confident to leave our bag with our paperwork and valuables in it, and had to carry it around with us until we checked in. In hot weather, this was less than desirable. The shower and toilet share a door which slides across. This resulted in water from the shower spilling out into the main bathroom area. The TV had a fixed maximum volume (which is fine), but because of the size of the room, it was then difficult to hear the TV. It may be better to adjust it so that it cannot cause annoyance to neighbours, but is audible within the room.

Served stay home notice at Ariva for 7 days. We were lucky to have upgrade from 1 bedder (450sqf) to 2 bedder (650sqf) on the very high level with an fantastic unblocked view. Apartment is well maintained and equipped with fridge, washing and drying machine, microwave, toaster, cutlery, basically all you need for a comfortable and homey stay. The front desk manager and staff are very helpful and friendly to cater what we need during our stay. Highly recommend visitors who are looking for a place that is spacious, affordable and at a quiet yet in the city centre location. Though I could not go out during my stay yet I am sure plenty of food options available nearby, confirmed by my foodpanda delivery.

To be honest, I always love to stay here. For the price, the room is quite spacious and the facilities provided were quite adequate. Location wise, it's minutes away from town and the expressway. Since the location is at Newton, numerous attractions and foodie spots are nearby. Even its an old property, Hotel Royal Singapore, is generally clean. Comfortable bed and pillow is very important to me and this property had never fail. The pillow is to my preference and many of my friends and relatives experience a good rest as well. The staff here is friendly and I just believe in ”treat people well and people will treat you well.” They do have big groups at their properties so do be patient at the counter or do check in early. Last but not least, I will like to extend my sincere thanks to Alice. She is one of the property back bone that ensure the guest is attended and given the best that she could give at the moment. Thus far, Coliwoo Balestier is simply one of the finest in terms of quality in service, quality in meeting customer expectations where one expects the service to be potentially rendered is meted out to the finest,and also Coliwoo's excellent customer service staff I have ever encountered Ms Kelly, this enchanting and serene place guarded sacredly by its guardians such as Ms Kelly whom I cited before, its time the entire hotel industry relook at their customer service rendered and product provided,Coliwoo Balestier is simply the finest and best thus far.
