Whenever we went for a staycation in the marine parade area, it was always either the Grand Mercure Roxy hotel or the Village Katong hotel. We passed by this Hotel Indigo Katong numerous times but never thought twice about it until this one time we wanted to visit the i12 Katong mall and decided to just spend a night at that hotel and ohh boy what a delightful stay! The hotel is so tastefully adorned with Peranakan motifs and furnished with modern furniture that includes a carrom board (with the seeds and powder!) that serves as the dining table and a fabulous big, rounded bathtub with separate standing rain shower and separate toilet area. The king bed was just nice and pillows fluffy enough for a good restful sleep. It’s great that starbucks is just downstairs, being the hotel is attached to Katong square and the i12 mall. The weekend flea market downstairs was also awesome, selling vintage wares & clothings. All in all, we will be back again in future!

We stayed here as a group of 8 people during our business trip and I can fully recommend the hotel. the area was great for us, lot of bars and restaurants and good night life. Further, the bus which brought us to the company every day was just around the corner (Bus no. 15). The hotel itself is very clean, has a big shower (so good!!!) and was cleaned every day. I liked that in the bed there was two different pillows, a soft one and a firm one! since I only like soft ones it was great for me! the stuff is really nice and helpful. booking taxi middle in the night for us or giving good tips as we had some issues with the credit card (it wasn't hotel fault, it was the bank!) and the best : the stuff is always smiling!! not to forget the nice orange juice machine (two!). having a fresh orange juice after the hot working day was great! I didn't take any pictures of the hotel, but I did from the juice machine :) Breakfast was nice and there is always something for everyone. me for my part love Asian food, so I enjoyed kaya buns and the fresh fruits. Also the coffee is nice and I loved the masala tea! Around the corner of the hotel you can eat famous Katong laksa! the best in the city in my honest opinion! Also five chicken star is nice place to eat since they are serving very good hainanese chicken rice. If you go down the street from five chicken star, you will find Mel´s Place, a nice beer garden with local people. You can watch football here, play billard or enjoy live music on some events. When traveling, I like to connect with local people and get more nice tips where to go, so my tips here are far away from the touristic areas and events.

Отель эмоций не омрачил, но это если вы не планируете в нем быть больше времени чем Вне. Мы жили 3 дня нормально перенесли ночевки. Ванная комната нормальная.

It’s my first of three nights stay in this new establishment. I’m already loving it, so glad I booked this hotel. - Location: it’s a bit of walk (＞ 10 mins) from the nearest train station. However the walk wasn’t so painful because Singapore is safe and well organised country with mostly smooth and covered walkways. Close proximity to Changi Airport is a big plus too. There are several bus stops nearby that can take you to many different destinations. Hotel offers breakfast (to my happy surprise) and there are loads of local eateries around. The area is uniquely known for Durian markets, for me personally it is always interesting to walk through this lively neighbourhood but some might find it “smelly” especially for someone who’s new to Durian. - Room: I was very surprised by spacious size of my room compared to most of boutique hotels in Singapore where rooms are usually tiny. Very clean, still new and everything works fine except safe as the batteries seems to be run out (I’m sure it will be dealt with once informed). Bed is clean and comfortable, TV has both Netflix & YouTube. Essentials are all here but there’s not much bathroom amenities, so bringing your own (shampoo & conditioner, face wash, body wash and hand soap, mainly) is recommended. Also there’re no room slippers - again, bring your own! - Bathroom: very clean with clean set of towels, and shower works great. Only setback is that water spills out to the floor easily. - Staff: friendly and helpful, welcoming. All in all, this is already so far my favourite accommodation in Singapore out of many that I have stayed. No frills, clean and comfortable, reasonably priced, and nicely located. I’ll be back!

Awesome hotel in very genuine price. Dont ever go for hotels like Amrise. They loot people at the same price. Features of hotel IBIS Pearl: 1. Small electric kettle (only for boiling water)( you cannot cook anything inside) 2. Tv 3. Gyser 4. AC 5. Washroom tap water is drinking water (it's written) 6. Mirrors 7.Hair dryer 8. Daily dental kit ( brush and tooth paste) 9. 24*7 reception 10. 900meters from aljunaid MRT 11. 100 meters from a Value dollar store to buy cheapest grocery. 12. 200 meters from nearest bus stop (guillemard Rd 80251) 13. Much better locality than Hotels like Amrise. (Trust me, just spend Rs. 1000 / SGP15$ and your stay will be memorable). We stayed in Amrise for one day and that was worst ever experience) (Only negative side for vegetarian is that you have to walk to aljunaid to access some veg restaurants. However, value dollar store can help you if u have your own electric kettle

Not recommend at all i lost the money for 2 days because i had to leave and the owner not wven refunded me the money… dirty bedding.. dust everywhere.. dead cockroaches on the walls and also runnin freely on the bed.. people allowed to eat durian in their room … avoid at all cost these thieves….don’t look at the pictures they posted because they are not real u gonna find unsanitary rooms… this hotel needs to close because tourists can get all kind of diseases..

Very good value for my overnight transit. Handy location not too far from the airport at 1/3 cost of airport accommodations. Lots of new little fine dining restaurants nearby. And the good old Singaporean street fares at the doorstep. Room is not big but I only used for hot showers and 6 hours sleep. Reasonable clean and easy check in and out. Service was great, 24 hours reception. Called taxi for me to go to the airport at 4:30 AM.

I been here quite a few times but sadly the room given to me was so disappointed which I fount small cockroach at the bathroom. the kettle desk top are full with dust. Bathtub is so dirty mark in the tub. I don't expect much but as for the hygiene purpose which be clean for all the customer to be resting in a clean place.
