Hotel Mesra keluarga di Siquijor

I don’t know anyone that couldn’t love this place! This was our last accommodation on our Philippines backpacking trip – a little treat to finish. We were recommended to visit Siquijor by a local we had met in Puerto Princesa, so we thought, why not! Not only did this become my favourite island, but I believe a huge part of this is because of Infinity Heights. We were super lucky to visit during a quiet period (start of the rainy season), but we’ve created memories here we will never forget. Firstly, we were beautifully greeted by the front of house staff, whom, I promise, will already make your stay so perfect as they made sure our guest experience was the highest it can be. Nothing was ever too big of an ask. If you love dogs, there are a couple of onsite adorable dogs who are very well behaved and respect your space, but also love a cuddle! The room (we stayed in room 10), was outstanding. It was clean, lovely, modern but simple décor, a big balcony with views that honestly took my breath away. For me, it felt like a place I could easily call my home. Speaking of home, the owners live onsite and came over to chat with us. Gary and Christy are the sweetest people, it’s very clear they take a lot of pride in their home and their business. As owners, I feel they tick every box. We’ve felt so cared about and wanted here, and we’ve not come spending money. It’s just been about getting to know each other. They’ve put a lot of hard work into the resort, and you can see through their staff how happy and attentive everyone is who works here. They gave us local insight knowledge and even treated us to a night of music! Christy performed some well-known songs, whilst Gary, my partner and two other guests assisted in the mini band – it’s a night that can’t be explained, as it was an unexpected taste of paradise. We felt 100% happy, content and relaxed, it’s an evening we will always cherish. We stayed after the music finished and continued chatting to Christy and Gary about everyday things and cultural differences. We wanted them to know how good their staff was as well, and they just seemed so heart warmingly proud of the business they have created. The last thing to mention is the views and the pool. JUST WOW. I wish we had more time here (or just lived here). We spent a whole evening in the pool watching the sun set over views that you can’t beat. It was emotionally beautiful, and we both miss this place so much!

-The direct access to the sea makes this hotel perfect, the hotel proved canoes, and google to enjoy swimming. Note: as the hotel is located on a marine reserve you’ll be asked to pay a one time environmental fee of 50P per pax. -The staff is super friendly and we had a great stay. -As all first floor rooms were booked we had the family room located on the second floors. The room was spacious and super clean. It was a bit pricy though. The first floor rooms have the outdoor patio to enjoy the evening on the outdoor sofa, but the family room’s view was so beautiful. -The hotel offers restaurant, we had dinner and the food was good and tasty. The wifi wasn’t that great, but when we left they were installing a better internet system. Next time we will enjoy a good wifi 😉 Overall, this is a great hotel to relax and recharge your energy. Would we recommend it: 100% yes. Why? For the location, the quietness, and the friendly staffs.

Bungalow # 1 ist sicherlich der Beste im Resort, ganz vorn im hübsch gestalteten Palmengarten mit Blick auf Strand und Wasser gelegen. Die große Terrasse mit herrlichen Korbsesseln und zwei Tischen lädt zum Träumen ein - vom Baden im Meer. Denn leider ist hier nur selten die Möglichkeit zum Schwimmen gegeben. Selbst bei Hochwasser ist dies kaum möglich. Ein geräumiges Zimmer mit großem Doppelbett, ausreichend Staumöglichkeit für das Gepäck, Klimaanlage und Ventilator, breite Fenster und Schiebetür. Dazu eine Küche mit Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher; Tassen, Gläser, Wasser, Kaffee und Tee stehen bereit. Das Duschbad ist ausreichend groß, heißes Wasser kommt sofort. Mangels besserer Alternativen essen wir fast immer hier. Die kleine Speisenauswahl ist gut und günstig. Leider ist der Service durchaus unterschiedlich, abhängig von den jeweiligen Damen. Es dauert oftmals recht lange bis man beachtet wird, gelegentlich kam Bestelltes erst auf Nachfrage. Besonders störend war ein lautstarker Streit eines Nachmittags, als eine Bekannte des schwedischen Besitzers laut schreiend im Nachbarbungalow Unruhe verbreitete. Abends gab es dann noch einen Polizeieinsatz, bei dem sie mit dem Krankenwagen das Gelände verlassen musste. Preis / Leistung war in Ordnung, für ein ”Sehr gut” reicht es leider nicht wegen des Lärms, Servicemangel und der fehlenden Schwimmmöglichkeit. WLAN im Restaurantbereich vorhanden.

Akses Internet wayarles percuma membolehkan anda sentiasa berhubung, manakala program kabel disediakan untuk hiburan anda. Bilik mandi menampilkan gabungan pancuran/tab mandi dengan hulu semburan mandi hujan dan kelengkapan dandanan diri percuma.

We booked a prestige villa for two nights. The room is big and clean. Semi open bathroom is very unique. location -it’s a bit far from the main road but that’s no problem.I suggest to spend whole day to relax in kawayan. It’s a great place to enjoy the nature. We can hear the sound of the bird, insects every moment. It refresh our soul, Great! -we can go to the sea directly from the resort which my boyfriend and I go three times per day. -sunset view is stunning Staff -all staffs are very nice, friendly, polite. Make our stay feel very comfortable. -the way they go green is amazing. The resort gave us two bottle for the welcome gifts. We can refill water anytime and we didn’t buy other drinks during our trip in siquijor. Food -highly recommend the food here. Seems the staff handmade snack everyday. I tried their tiny pizza and bread that are delicious . Very good dinner, like fine dining that impressed me a lot. I wish to bring my family here next time!

We had originally booked for one week at the Lazi Beach Club; however, we decided to extent our stay to 9 nights! Indeed, we were warmly welcomed and had great service throughout our stay. Our meals were fine, and the staff was friendly and caring. Our beachfront room was large, and situated right beside the Bahura Dive Shop. Furthermore, just offshore there’s wonderful coral reef to one side, and a good muck diving location to the other side. There’s a LOT to see and experience on the small island of Siquijor when one is not diving or snorkeling. And, we were always quickly provided us with transportation for our excursions. We’re an older couple in our seventies. Especially after a broken leg two years ago, we did not want to rent a scooter. We carefully crawled through the Cantabon Cave, swam in the Sambulawan underwater river, swam at a picturesque pool below the Cambugahay Falls, climbed to the top of the island at Mt Bandilaan, viewed giant clams while snorkeling at both the Tulapos and Tubod Marine Sanctuaries, and visited historical sites like the St Francis of Assisi Church. On our last night we were taken to the Pitogo Cliffs for an amazing sunset experience. This was a budget accommodation where the staff really cared about us! There's only six separate places to rent, so you'll never be just one of many tourists here! We had such an adventurous time that we did not even use their swimming pool!

RYJ's Inn is set in Siquijor, within 1 km of Maite Beach and 1.4 km of Solangon Beach. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge.
