Hotel berhampiran Campana Dei Caduti di Sirmione

Abbiamo soggiornato all'Hotel Smeraldo a fine Giugno. Sottolineo l'ampia disponibilità dimostratami dal personale consentendomi di lasciare l'auto in parcheggio anche in orario anticipato rispetto al check-in e oltre l'orario del check-out. Abbiamo cenato al Ristorante Il Canneto ( presso l'Hotel La Paul di fronte e facente parte della stessa proprietà) e siamo stati molto soddisfatti. Sicuramente l'hotel Smeraldo dovrà intervenire per aggiustare alcuni dettagli ”di svecchiamento” ma tutto sommato non possiamo parlare male di questa struttura e della stanza vista lago di cui abbiamo usufruito, tenendo conto che si possono utilizzare anche i servizi dell'Hotel La Paul. La colazione veramente con poco può fare il salto di qualità, attualmente siamo a poco più di una buona colazione a casa con prodotti confezionati e non, caffetteria al momento. Pulizia in generale soddisfacente (e mia moglie non le manda certo a dire), ottimo trovare il set di cortesia nel bagno.

Perfect location within walking distance to all the restaurants and the lake and lido. Spotlessly clean. Towels soft and fluffy. Friendly reception team. Comfortable beds. Constant hot water. We had a double room with balcony. The balcony had table and 2 chairs on it. Great for enjoying a drink or early morning coffee. Would have liked kettle and cups in room but I always take a travel kettle. The fridge was a lovely addition to the room. Wouldn’t hesitate to stop here again.

My fiance took me to lake Garda for a birthday surprise. This hotel is beautiful. Right on the lake edge. It is a 5-10 min walk into the main area of Sirmone which was perfect. Rooms were lovely, clean and well decorated. Pool / lake area was well maintained and they do a nice gin fizz.

We arrived late and the receptionist was awesome. Very helpful and fun, very carasmitic. The room was fun, the kids loved it. The cleaning could be better and the beadsheats were not cleaned propper and had a discusting stain from puke. But the cleaning boy fixed that and was nice about it.

Just returned from a fabulous holiday at Hotel La Paul,Sirmione. Room was lovely was clean,gorgeous side view of lake from balcony.We had bed and breakfast food always fresh and plenty of it,coffee was good.Felt very safe in swimming pool,this is first holiday that I ventured into the water,so clean,loved it.Also went for a cycle ride with the free bike hire to Colombare.Outside by the stunning lake we could relax,it was glorious.The two ladies who worked in the hut were so lovely and friendly also the food that was served was first class.We found all the staff to be welcoming.The reception staff were always friendly,helpful and efficient.We must mention a very special young lady on reception Alessandra , it was like having your very own best friend working at the hotel,she was a complete star and an absolute Angel.We would definitely return to this comfortable and homely hotel.Thank you Hotel La Paul.xxx

We were in Gardaland adventure hotel and Gardaland park few days ago. Hotel is very nice and all employees are very polite. We had dinner in Tutankamon restaurant and special praise for waiter Vicenco. He served us 2 nights and he is so kind and friendly

Riel is a lovely and well maintained hotel in a great location. Friendly and courteous staff. Our room and bathroom were clean, comfortable and modern with only a few minor issues as the mini fridge was noisy and not cooling properly, also a kettle was provided yet apart from a few herbal tea sachets no coffee, sugar or milk supplied (strange arrangement). Small balconies have no privacy at all and are easily accessible from any other room. Free bike hire was the real bonus for us. I'm surprised that people aren't mentioning bland and tired looking breakfast room and the COLD breakfast (which was our main disappointment), otherwise it was varied and plentiful and they serve fantastic coffee! I'd visit again off season.

Myself and my son stayed at the Corte Cavalli in Sept 23. It's a beautiful old estate 8-10 min by car / cab (15 Euro) away from the centre of Peschiera. The hotel itself can be found at the bottom of a long driveway and is is made up of a number of buildings which also house the reception, restaurant and wellness centre. I have to say that this is one of the most charming hotels I've stayed at for a number of reasons. The rooms themselves are typical old style Italian but with everything you need including air con and beautiful bathrooms. They are cleaned daily to a high standard. Beds very comfy. All staff are warm and friendly and bend over backwards to be of assistance. The pool area is well equipped, clean and very peaceful being surrounded by fields. We stayed half board and the quality of the food was excellent. The only slight negative was the repetition throughout the week. It's a 3 course menu with a few choices for each course each evening. There was something new each day but still, in my opinion, a few more options throughout the week would be beneficial. Waiting staff are helpful and are multi-lingual so don't worry if your Italian is a little rusty! If you dont have a car, Peschiera itself has a port so the ferries which operate as water taxis, can take you to other destinations round the lake - timetables are available online or from the hotel / port booking office. There is also a train station. Verona is 20 mins away and Venice 1.5 hrs by train so perfect for day trips. The hotel has bike hire which is recommended if you don't have a car as constant cabs into town can prove costly. The wellness centre consists of two saunas, large whirlpool and two sensory showers. There is also a treatment room for massages ( charge applies) The weather was great with an average of 25 degrees. Im told its like this in May and September. July and August can be very hot and humid and the hotel and resort gets busy. The upshot is, if you want a friendly, peaceful place to stay in beautiful surroundings to recharge your batteries and read that book you have had bedside your bed for the last 12 months, then this really is the place for you.
