Hotel di Sofia City Center, Sofia

This is the most affordable price for a queen bed hotel with attach bathroom, but the size of the room is like a shoebox - but they provide ample toiletries, towels and hangers to hang ur clothes. Location is abit far from the main attraction, but you can take a tram (10-15 mins) away and its all good, theres a few supermarket, cafes and pizza place nearby. The staff is really great too

Strategically located near the main transport hubs. • The metro station (coming from the airport) is very close.  • Tram stops are on the corner, and the main bus/train station is just a couple of blocks away.  • The city center is about 1.5 km away.  • Price Range: 79€/d. 🛏️ The Room Experience • Room Type: Twin room on the 11th floor.  • Size & Cleanliness: Adequate size and clean.  • Bed: 110cm firm mattress, reported to be very comfortable, with two soft pillows.  • Amenities: Flat-screen TV, coffee maker, fridge, and hairdryer included.  • Drawbacks: No major issues mentioned. 🚽 Bathroom Details • Cleanliness & Setup: The bathroom was clean.  • Shower/Bath: High and slippery bathtub. Water pressure was very good.  • Products & Towels: Basic amenities were provided. Some towels showed signs of wear with frayed edges.  🍳 Food & Beverage • Included: Yes, breakfast was included.  • Variety & Quality: A very complete breakfast buffet, offering both hot and cold, sweet and savory options, including some local specialties.  • Negative Point: The only drawback was the juice, which tasted artificial, like a powdered mix.  🏊 Common Areas & Facilities • Facilities: The hotel features a spa, sauna, indoor pool, a restaurant, a cocktail bar, and a ******.  👨💼 Service Evaluation • Reception: Morning staff was serious. Evening staff seemed bothered by questions regarding the spa.  • Cocktail Bar: Staff here was very kind and friendly.  • Spa Staff: Described as serious, speaking only the bare minimum of words.  • Daily Housekeeping: Room cleaning was minimal; they only straightened the duvet, leaving the pillows as they were. Coffee and tea amenities were not replenished.  🚗 Transport & Access • Public Transport: Excellent connection. Very close to the metro line from the airport, with tram stops nearby and the main stations within walking distance.  🔐 Security • Access Control: Access is managed via a key card.  • Safe: There is no safe deposit box in the room.  Final Verdict: ✔ Top Strength: The super comfortable bed combined with the excellent location near major transport links (metro, bus, train). ❌ Main Drawback: The service was inconsistent, particularly the minimal housekeeping (no coffee/tea refill) and the unenthusiastic staff at reception and the spa.

Overall cleanliness of the whole property is ok as the cleaner did her best from what I saw, but unluckily my bed was not as clean as I expected. Hope the color on my bed cover and pillow was stain not dirt (see pictures). Also when I wanted to extend my stay for the next day and came down to receptionist, he said he had finished his shift and asked me to come back in the morning, while his shift was actually not finished yet (there is a written information what time reception is supposed to close). Other than those two issues, it was a great stay, kitchen is spacious with stoves, sink, fridge, table and chairs, living room.

The hotel is at a great location, check in was very convenient. The room was big and the bed was very comfortable. The shower smelled bad. Aircon didn't work. The cleaning ladies where smoking inside the yoga room while we were working out. Reception wasn't occupied, the whatsapp number was super helpfull and always replied quickly

The location was brilliant, a short walk away from the centre or many public transport options including bus, tram or metro right at the door of the hotel. The room was spacious, with comfortable amenities. The staff did a great job of replenishing soap/towels on a daily basis. The room was always warm, made it nice to come back to after a day of exploring.

Excellent location and just a few minutes walk to many excursion tour buses pickup point. Hotel and room was overall very good. But i guess we were unfortunate to experience 2 power outages and 1 water suspension. Restaurant staff were great and helpful. The front desk staff who checked us in was very good but no the others.

This was a great find for travellers. There is a shared bathroom, toilets, kitchen and lounge area. Everything was very clean. We stayed in the deluxe double room that had fantastic views of the city from the balcony. Towels and bedding were included. The property is on the 7th floor opposite the park and is a short distance from the metro station.

Otelde tek gece konakladık. Herşey ***et iyidi fakat yataklar biraz eskiydi yayları rahatsız etti. Temizlik çok iyidi. Konumundan merkeze rahatlıkla yürüyebilirsiniz. Çalışanlar ***et kibar ve yardımseverdi. Tekrar gitsem bu oteli tercih edebilirim.

This is the best hotel in Europe in this price range. It is located in the best place in the city center of Sofia, walkable to various kind of restaurants of all kinds. 5 minutes walk to subway station. The hotel room is huge and provided with adequate amenities. Not to mention the high standard of services , staff are friendly and endeavor to help.
