Maroma, A Belmond Hotel, Riviera Maya

What an amazing property! It was a beautiful property but now is even more beautiful due to the well-done renovations. Incredible rooms setup, views, Restaurants & food and the most well-appointed Spa. The entire staff is super friendly and professional. We were blessed with the weather and full moon nights as well. It was the second visit, but it won't be the last one for sure. Special thanks to Lilian, Sabrina, Pool & Beach, Sergio, Alfonso and Onesimo. The Team at Casa Mayor who we really like them during the breakfast like Karla, Valdivia, Obdulio, Jose Luis. I can really remember all the names, but they all deserve a great recognition because what they do in regard to the special attentions to the details. Also, the team at Wooden provided a terrific service

The Belmond Maroma exceeded all expectations for our annual girls trip for the long weekend. The beach was calm and clean, the spa was well appointed and allowed for daily use of the hydrotherapy, the boutique was well curated with local Mexican artisans, and the food was creative and tasty. But the biggest compliment to the property was the staff. The level of service was on par with what I have received at top luxury hotels in Europe. Servers learned and remembered our names, our likes and dislikes, and they always followed up on every request, even if the answer had to be no. I recommend the made in front of you breakfast tamales, a run or bike through the ( on property) jungle, a swim suit from the shop, and a dip in the spa cold plunge. The Maroma gives you no reason to leave for the duration of your stay. We cant wait to return.

This was our sixth time back at Maroma and the best ever. Since we were there last, it was completely renovated by Belmond and they upgraded aspects of the property without changing its character. It is a beautiful resort that feels incredibly personal. The property is beautiful. The staff are uniformly, friendly, and helpful, really everything about. It was great. We had wonderful weather, The food in both the restaurants was excellent, the spa is first rirate and the gym and other amenities are excellent. Nothing bad to say, it’s a perfect getaway vacation and we plan to be back there soon.

Wonderful resort not too far from the airport. Beach is perfect, and there are several wonderful pools throughout the property. Rooms are very spacious, and ours was very close to the beach. The staff is very attentive and accomodating. Several small touches include fresh coffee service every morning, a blanket and baby shoes, and complimentary snacks/drinks on the beach all day. We went to the St. Regis for dinner one night and were very happy with our decision to stay at Maroma. Only nitpick is that the food is very good, but not exceptional. But you go to Mexico for the beaches.

Wow! Wow! Wow! What can I say. I don’t think my review here will do the the Belmond Maroma justice. It was an unbelievable experience. Belmond Maroma is an oasis amidst a tropical jungle. A beautiful hotel with a beautiful beach. Every little detail was so well thought out. We loved our stay and hope to be back soon. The staff were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We especially want to mention our personal host, Jean Luc who took care of us whilst we were there from the little everyday things we needed to restaurant and excursion recommendations. Also a special mention to all the bar and restaurant staff -including Jorge, Ximena (I hope the spelling is correct) for their attentiveness. It was such a personal service from all staff and I was impressed that the manager Stephan Post always stopped to talk to all the guests and check that everything was ok. We’ve stayed in a few Belmonds but the service here was on another level. Both the restaurants within the hotel are of very high quality and well thought out menus. We also had spa treatments in the Guerlain spa which was one of the best treatments I’ve ever had. Overall, we had a very relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable stay at Maroma. Thank you to all for making our honeymoon so special!

This was the the best 60th birthday party for our friend! The hotel was so accommodating to all of our needs and requests. The staff was super friendly and also very professional. The accommodations were absolutely perfect and made you feel so welcomed. I highly recommend staying here for your next trip! You will not be disappointed.
