The grounds of this hotel is second to none! The service was spectacular. Anna the GM was there for all of our needs. This place didnt cut a corner all the finishings were top of the line! Our kids loved it. Very accomodating. Honeymooners spot too

The staff warmly welcomed us upon arrival. The room was exquisitely appointed rooms. The attention to little details in the room. The slippers, the caftans, the interesting books, the tiled sinks, the luxury products, the Mexican inspiration. The delicious and timely coffee service. The fitness center equipped with a massage therapist, good equipment, snacks and cold towels. The breakfast service where homemade tortillas are abundant, the fruit is plentiful, the pastry basket is different each day and the pour over coffee is a cultural experience. The wooden carved lounge chairs with comfortable cushions, chairs for all the guests, and beach attendants who are ready to take care of your every need. The surprise of daily cocktails, fresh fruit, cooling mist or sorbet. The beautiful well-maintained beach and grounds. The spa with it's welcoming staff, well trained therapists, hot pool, and well stocked clean locker room. The fantastic, interesting, beautiful and delicious dinners at both restaurants. One day two employees said when we had a request, ”Anything is possible!” The sommelier who guided us through the wines of Mexico. The bartender making interesting and unique cocktails. Our list could go on and on... What we know is that everyone wanted to make sure our week at Maroma was special. Each staff member was there to provide a service, and it is obvious they are very proud of their work and their country.

I'm sorry to say my experience was not awful, but certainly a disappointment. The food was sad. We paid $ 400 extra and struggled to find one good thing each day of a 4 day stay. The room had a beautiful view. We upgraded to a suite with kitchenette. Nice, but no dishes or any way of cooking which made the stove useless. The in- room jacuzzi did not work. Mold on ceilings and stained bedding. The booking said in- room snacks, not so. Nada. No ironing board. Tv stopped working on day two and the hotel response was, ” oh well ”. No water activities and a sad excuse for a beach. Sadly, not recommended. Save your money and go to The Bahamas!

We chose Casa Kaoba since it was close to Xcaret and was cheaper than park hotels We arrived after a long day at Xcaret, and staff were friendly and wore masks at all times, someone also walked my husband to the room. Parking is right in front of the building right off the street, so i would consider that if you would prefer something more secure. Pictures online are a lot better than what you get in person for your room, though. Our first thought was...this room feels weird. Floors and all wooden furniture of the room had lots of scratches and dents on them. The black chair in the room was also dirty. Decor is also at a bare minimum, so if aesthetics are important to you, you won't really find that in your room. We were super tired but still realized it didn't feel cozy; we wondered if this place was a hostel at one point with how the room was set up. Stairs have no handles, so may be an injury risk for kids or those who need assistance with stability. We tried watching TV but for some reason had heavy static that evening and next morning. There are Netflix and Prime video apps available that we didnt use but would recommend visitors to put a reminder for themselves to log out, as we logged out previous visitors from the apps to avoid others using their account. Water is provided in a carafe but we chose not to drink out of it and ordered bottled water instead. We ordered pizza (pepperoni and margherita) and quite possibly were the worst pizzas we've ever had, we had a good laugh. But free breakfast was great (eggs with tortilla, scrambled eggs, fruit, and chilaquiles), and had a nice view of the pool For the price, it is worth it for our family. all we really needed was a place to sleep, since we arrived late and left early. The public areas are nice and well kept, but the room itself could use some extra love and attention

Will make this super quick. Rooms AC did not work. Asked 4 times for service and to move rooms and was basically laughed at. Never got fixed in over 7 days we were there. Food at buffets was lowest quality I have had at over 12 Mexico resorts. Small variety as well. Pool is basically 6 foot deep across the entire thing and people have to hop around it to get around. Drinks were poured very light and it seems if you are not hispanic you get helped last. Pool bar was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Terrible service terrible energy and a waste of time even going to as they barely had any alcohol. Beach was beautiful and the night time entertainment was extraordinary. Too many people everywhere as the other hotel is under renovation so they stuff everyone all in one resort.

PPengguna TetamuOur stay was beautiful, I will not deny that. However it was not without a few letdowns. I am a woman who is all about a pool and was so excited to swim in the absolutely gorgeous pool I saw in all the photos online. I visited the week of Jan 1- Jan 7th and the weather was quite warm about 75 degrees every day. HOWEVER, the pool was absolutely FREEZING to the point where I was shivering being in it. Felt like an ICE BATH :( It was not enjoyable and with this being a secluded/ all inclusive hotel there weren't very much other forms of entertainment during the day except for the pool and the beach (the water was warm at the beach). It was so disappointing. I called the front desk to ask if anything could be done but they stated was no pool heater/temperature adjuster. We paid about 4 grand total for this trip and to be completely honest were only able to enjoy the pool once. My next complaint comes to the beach. We went to the beach which gets pretty bus. There was a day where every single chair was full and two of the hotel cabanas were being taken over by random street vendors - taking away two spots for the guests from the 100% packed beach area. These guys were NOT a part of the hotel and are the vendors who go around trying to sell cigars, etc. I watched the staff pass by them multiple times and say nothing while ACTUAL GUESTS had nowhere to lounge by the beach. That was very disappointing as these guys were laughing loudly, staring at guests, and did not move as people walked by looking for chairs. Other than that I will admit that the food was great, the staff was super nice, the hotel grounds were IMPECCABLE, the rooms were nice, everything else was quite lovely. But for the reasons listed I will not be staying at this all inclusive again, although you can still make the most of it and have a lovely experience overall. I'd recommend a stay if you're not going for the main reason of enjoying the pool and the beach.

I stayed here for six nights in February, 2022. While it is not walking distance to downtown Playa, the extremely low cost and beautiful, new, spotless facility make up for it. An incredible value, including a nice Mexican breakfast and brand new facility. The staff could not have been nicer. My room was beautiful, with all the modern amenities. (No oven, but with the cost of food locally and the included microwave and kitchen, it was no big deal) I would highly recommend this hotel.

PPengguna Tetamuone of the best hotel I have stayed, you have everything like 12 restaurants to eat and the pools and the place to do kayak and be on the ocean pools ara amazing its a nice resort with everything you can dream, amazing views and the restaurant the mercado san juan its amazing for breakfast its food all around Mexico you need a week to see the whole hotel, plus you have acces to all the parks of Xcaret we try the xenses and Xcaret at night its nice, everything for all the family better than the disneys resorts I think its
one of the top 10 best hotels in the world, it has something for all kind of taste, from privacy to a lot of places for socialize. I will comeback again for longer stay its worth it.

NNatashaDeLangeI recently celebrated my seven-year wedding anniversary with a 5-night stay at TRS Yucatan hotel, and it exceeded all expectations. The staff's exceptional treatment made our experience truly memorable. Special kudos to the remarkable team at El Gaucho—Amayde Cruz, Ingrid Martinez, and our outstanding waiter, who we unfortunately did not get the name of, along with Fernanda Pichardo. Rosa from Villa 70 treated us to 5 star treatment, cleaning our room and doing turn down service everyday with the highest quality. Our butlers (Emilio, Estefanía and Daniel) were also really phenomenal! The resort surprised us with a lavish dinner on our last evening, making us feel like royalty. The tranquil and peaceful atmosphere added to the perfection of our stay. Highly recommend for a special occasion or a luxurious getaway! Thank you to the whole TRS team for the most spectacular time and making us feel like royalty every single day!

NNikkilaoshiLocation is great. Checkin was easy. Rooms are spacious with a little kitchenette (stove cooktop & microwave) but there’s no dishes or utensils to cook. Decent coffee/tea setup. Nice robes. Medium sized fridge with freezer section. City view rooms do not have balconies and face street with view of ice cream shop and laundromat. Pool is warm & pool towels available. 1 block from the busy street and 2 blocks from beach. There’s a bar with a pool table, foosball, and darts where happy hour was offered for an hour daily. BREAKFAST WAS NOT WORTH WAKING EARLY FOR. Very limited options and was cold. Also after checking our reservation at the breakfast restaurant they were insisting we pay for it when we paid for it with the reservation. Also felt the breakfast staff were a bit rude when I tried asking for details on the station others were lining up for reminding me of things that were included or not.

Let me first start off and tell you that the reception staff and maids are absolutely lovely really helpful my issue is not them at all. I'm going to write this review completely honest because I don't want another person to go in blind like I did. If you like sleep and you like quiet do not stay at this hotel. First of all when we arrived at hacienda del Caribe after an 11 hour flight we were told we were being moved to their sister hotel which is a bit of a walk with a disabled child our daughter and four suitcases anyway we were tired and happily agreed.The hotel is the most noisiest hotel I have ever been in and we have travelled the world.Not street noise that I can understand as it's the town no it is people inside the hotel because the windows are sheet thin and the doors have huge gaps the security do not care. I took videos of the noise.i complained to the hotel who moved us up a floor however we were without a room entirely from 11am until 4pm my disabled son needs a quiet room and this is unacceptable. The noise was just as bad I took more videos of a man trying to kick our door down I rang reception for security no answer my husband ran out to restrain him as he was biting guests and he strangled the receptionist armed police turned up then security I did not feel safe after this and I told them this. It was packed with people who were like wild animals screaming all hours day and night not once told to be quiet? It ruined the holiday if I'm honest but you get what you pay for.oh might I add aswell I had earplugs in! Pros Pools nice but could do with a scrub The staff especially the maids are just lovely Local to everything really If you want to party definitely your hotel Cons Noisy like extremely noisy Attracts the wrong kind of people noisy,rude obnoxious The large windows to the room are extremely unsafe can easily be broken into The beds are like concrete The cafe next door is overpriced for the food you get but that's all of plays del Carmen horrible food

PPengguna TetamuThis was our second vacation trip to the Xcaret Mexico hotel. We really enjoyed the ”ALL fun inclusive” experience, with exclusive transportation and access to ALL Xcaret group parks. We were a family group of 5 rooms, with combination of adults, and adults/children in several of the rooms/suites. We had two concierge services representatives (K.C. and Laura), and they were very attentive and accommodating to our needs, requiring two suite changes to better suit our needs. They also helped us with the restaurants' and parks' reservations (for those which required it), and also with the wheel chair arrangements for my mother-in-law. The restaurants are big, and even though the hotel was fully occupied, we did not feel crowded or had to make lines to enter the restaurants. A most do is the Sunday brunch at the ”Las Cuevas” restaurant. Their meat and seafood offerings were way above what I was expecting, with even a Tuna processing experience made by the chef, ending in a delicious Tuna tartar appetizer. My wife is FULLY vegan (I am not), and we went to their vegan restaurant ”Bio”, and were able to taste almost ALL of their breakfast and lunch menu offerings, with every one having its own palate pleasing taste. Add to that their freshly pressed juices shots, and specialty frozen shakes. By the third day, Xiomara greeted us by our names, and waiter Edgar had known what we already tasted, and ”took care” of us. Kudos to both of them, for understanding and living a true ”costumer service”. This hotel is so well designed, that even there were live bands throughout the lobby and infinity pool areas, the volume was not overwhelming, and you can relax at another area, without it bothering you. Each restaurant had some special drinks, which you can enjoy, so make sure you ask the waiter for the ”special cocktail” of the day. We witnessed two ”destination weddings”, and the open area activities did no interfere with our time to enjoy the hotel amenities, so thank you for that. We even enjoyed another ”shot” of ”free” mariachi's songs while walking near them. On Sunday, we were able to enjoy catholic Sunday mass at the Xpiral chapel. All in all, my family and us had a blast, with ”not enough time” reviews from each and every one of them. We plan on coming back and visit some of the park attractions we did not have time to try, as well as enjoy again the amenities this hotel has to offer its guests. The weather was hot and humid, as it has been in every place in the world at this latitute. Be prepared and drink lots of water! ¡Muchas gracias por poner sus corazones al servicio de sus huéspedes! I took my extended family to Playa del Carmen for a fun week. I booked 4 separate 2 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms suites at Anah Suites but were given 3 suites at Anah Downtown and 1 suite at Anah La Playa across the street. They were overbooked and our concierge, Daniel Jimenez, tried to accommodate us by offering to move us to the La Quinta by Anah on 5th Avenue & 40th, but we realized that the current location was actually the best since it was close to everything. Daniel was really accommodating and the staffs were really nice! The suites were offered at a good price for the money, however, it is close to a busy street. I let the rest of my family stay at the suites at Anah Downtown and we stayed in the suite at La Playa across the street. Our room was clean but one of the toilet wasn't flushing in 1 bathroom and the shower barely worked in the other bathroom. This was annoying at first, but wasn't a big deal since we spent most of our time outdoors doing activities. Be warned that nearby streets are constantly busy (noise all day and all night) and for our trip, the other guests were coming home at 3:00AM in the morning and making a lot of noise. Playa del Carmen is very close to Xcaret, Xplor, Xel-ha, Tulum and a lot of cenotes that were really fun to swim in. We will definitely do this again soon.
