Placid Garden Resort

This was one of the best place that we had a stay in Andaman! Amazing service, great food and the owner mr Ashraf was always present at the resort! The ambience of this resort connects you to Nature! Also thanks Dekho Andaman for booking us this property rather than the ones we selected

Please don't book through this hotel. They made a mistake of putting a price at Agoda which was lower than anywhere and I booked it for 7 days. Then they go to Agoda saying that the price is not correct. Agoda confirmed to me twice that my booking is confirmed and these people didn't have the decency to inform me that it is not. I call them 2 days before my stay to check about the weather and they tell me that they won't take my booking. They were planning for me to arrive at the property and give me this horrible news and take advantage of having me book their hotel at a price of their liking. Typical fraud. Making the customer suffer because of their wrongdoing and playing blame games instead.

The stay was very comfortable. Very clean and hygenic. The location is very good. The nature of the owner Mr Ashwaq is very nice, he was very helful and cooperative. The food is also very good and affordable.

The hotel is not on the beach. Direct booking rate is almost half of the online booking, so advice you to call directly the hotel. Not worth the money. Very small room size . You cannot fot if you are coming with your children. Very good hotels available at same price with sea facing. So final call just avoid

We three families with children stayed here for two nights recently. It is a very conveniently located beautiful place. One can also book this place by calling directly. The property itself is not so big, but very nice and comfortable with all the non-nonsense amenities. The room & bathroom were neat and clean. The restaurant food was very good. The manager Mr Ashraf was very courteous and very professional. A gentleman and a very nice person. He helped us in arranging for all our local sightseeing trips, so everything was convenient. A big thanks to all the staff, especially the restaurant staff who served us very well. A few suggestions/comments for improvement: The lawn area outside the room had water logging. It will be breeding place for mosquito. The drainage system need to be improved. In an area where people come back to the room with sands from beach, the bathroom floor should have separate sections which will prevent water from spreading all over the floor after use, and maintain better cleanliness. The boat ride to elephant beach offer complementary snorkeling. But it turns out, it is only for show. Actually, it is a trap to lure into buying another ticket for real snorkeling. If the hotel helps arrange the boat, then they probably should tell the guests about it frankly, instead of suggesting the complementary snorkeling (which I think, they know very well what it is). Anyway, it was a very good experience overall and I would recommend the place for anyone visiting Swaraj Deep.

Tasty food!! This secluded restaurant on a way was undoubtedly the very best restaurant in havelock we visited… authentic sea fast food with delicious main course the restaurant tucked all boxes…staffs were very courteous and well behaved… far better than few other highly rated restaurants in the area
