Hotel Lijiang dengan Spa

This hotel was more like a homestay, it was located slighty above a hill. Walking downhill to a convenience store would be ok but going back up is definitely a work out. I love that it is secluded and quiet, provided a much needed respite after exploring and wandering around Lijiang's city. The room floor wasnt soundproofed well i supposed as we received a complaint from the landlord that the neighbours below said that there were kids running in the room. It was 11pm and we were getting ready for bedtime so maybe our footsteps must have been heard lol. We chose a room that had a garden balcony but at night there wasnt any light at the balcony, so it was pretty dark. Kinda defeat our purpose of wanting to hang out there at night as there werent any lights for us to chill out to lol. They provided a lamp but it wasnt working. I loved that the room was big and spacious, we literally filled every space in the room with our things hahaha. The toilet floors were conveniently heated for our feet too and it was large! The AC isnt centralised so you can decide to use heater or use the AC if Lijiang's winter isnt cold enough for you. They offer free tea drinking session in the afternoons for all guests but we couldnt manage to squeeze ourself in for the treat. Their hospitality was lovely too, they offered flower cakes on our arrival, lugged our luggages up a flight of stairs, offered fruits and basically communicated with us through wechat for easy communication due to language barrier. There was also a laundry area, dryer provided but since there was one each you've gotta be fast otherwise you end up waiting for your turn. Breakfast was simple too, there wasnt halal options but there were hard boiled eggs, corn, sweet potatoes and some type of pao with filling. We didnt manage to mingle much with the landlord but we had a really comfortable stay and manage to relax in peace and in privacy at the garden balcony too despite the darkness. There are also convenience store and some halal shops once you are downhill. The old town of lijiang is also about 8-10mins walk away from the hotel, it is really strategically located but what is important is that a car is able to stop you directly infront of the hotel. I'd recommend this place for travellers who love peace and quiet away from the bustling city!

We had an incredibly pleasant stay at Mo Shan, with a calm and comfortable room that provided a perfect place to rest after exploring the old town. The hot spring bath was particularly relaxing and secluded terrace added a nice touch to the overall experience. Breakfast was also a highlight — the freshly prepared noodles were delicious and a great way to start the day. What truly stood out was the level of care and attention from the hosts. They were consistently helpful, assisting with organizing and booking day trips, and even preparing takeaway breakfast for early morning departures. The availability of a self-service laundry room was also greatly appreciated during our travels. Finally, the support with luggage — especially coordinating and helping carry it from within the old city to the taxi pick-up point — made a real difference and showed genuine attentiveness. Overall, a thoughtful and well-managed stay, combining comfort, hospitality, and practical support for travelers.

This place just blew me away. Smack in the middle of Lijiang old town, beautiful architecture and 6 star service all the way! The room amenities are on par with 5 star international hotels. Soft fluffy towels and bedding, a deek soaking tub, quality amenities. Our personal concierge Rui Rui is a beautiful and sweet local Naxi girl who arranged everything from pick-up, show tickets, dinner recommendations, and tips for where to go etc etc. Amy the restaurant manager provided amazing service and delicious food and drinks, and makes the best coffee in the entire Yunnan. The afternoon tea is a must do. The garden is a menagerie of animals. There is also a special furkid at reception to greet you when you arrive. Also you get the best view of old town from the restaurant . We will definitely be back soon!

Benar-benar pengalaman hotel butik. Bilik-bilik dihias dengan menarik dan pemilik mempunyai beberapa cadangan yang bagus tentang perkara yang perlu dilakukan di kawasan itu. Kakitangan di sana secara amnya sangat ramah dan membantu. Ini juga merupakan salah satu daripada beberapa tempat di Shuhe di mana anda boleh menemui koktel artisanal (mereka mempunyai perkongsian dengan bar koktel kraf di Singapura) yang sangat keren.

I’m penning this review as I sit at the patio, gazing at this magnificent view of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain that has held me in rapture from the moment I arrived. This is my first solo trip to China and I had been anxious about the language barrier as my mandarin is not great. I had also chosen this hotel for my first stay of this trip here to decompress and unwind. These past two days, I have been blown away such warm, kind and welcoming hospitality that I wish I’d more time to linger. Nothing is ever too much trouble. The hotel offers a wide array of activities, which are great for acclimating to the high altitude and to just slow down. I greatly enjoyed star gazing session at night and discovering the cafe/bar which offers coffee roasting workshops and locally produced Naxi alcohol. My stay here has been perfect and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking respite from the burdens of modern life.

Hotel located at Yuhu village, going in and out was a hassle as we have to inform the hotel of the car plate number in advance. And it's approx. an hr ride from the Lijiang railway station. There are quite afew popular cafes and restaurants within walking distance in the village. It would be a good location if u would like to explore around the village. However, wouldn't recommend one to explore the village at night as it's v dark at night with minimal street lights. Beddings were clean and comfortable. There's heater in the room so it's not cold at all and shower heater is consistent. The mountain view was magnificent. Hotel provides western and chinese cuisine to choose for breakfast and we can arrange activities; hiking, tour around the village etc. Room was equipped with a bluetooth speaker, Dyson hairdryer, air purifier and complimentary snacks!! Lastly, I would like to commend receptionist, Ann for her great service and patience to guide me through booking tickets online. Overalls, a comfortable stay i would definitely stay here again!!

Hotel reception contactable via wechat and response were usually prompt. Hotel provide buggy to bring us and our luggages to our rooms upon check-in and also upon our request. Hotel environment is comfortable and relaxing, with view of the snow mountain. Rooms are clean and spacious too. Location is close to shuhe old town, just across the road. Hotel also provide laundry room with detergent. However, do remember to collect your clothes on time because when we went back a few mins late to collect our clothes, we found them taken out of the machine already. The photography service provided by the hotel in my opinion is average only. Hotel include 3 free photos, additional at 50rmb each (not sure if the price varies due to our country of origin). We waited 2 days for the supposedly edited photos but when we receive the photos, they were same as what we saw during the photo selection. Not sure why we needed to wait though. We did not try the tie-dye experience as we were tired after the photography session. Breakfast include noodle, bun, dumpling, eggs, vege, bacon, toast but it would be better if the hotel can provide different items daily as we stayed 4 nights and breakfast items for every morning are the same. Last but not least, the hotel service even include drafting a review for me to copy and paste but I prefer to write my own. :)

We have a wonderful home stay in this lovely Hotel.Is very beautiful, clean and luxurious. The service,enthusiasm and kindness of all staffs, especially Miss 小文, which she is very helpful to advise on beautifulplaces to visit, delicious restaurants, directions,booking attraction tickets. It's all great. I will definitely come back soon.
