Hotel Shanghai dengan Spa

We were there for 2 nights during our first trip to Shanghai & China and we were travelling with our 11 year girl. We moved from Hyatt on the Bund. The location was excellent for someone who wants to be in the middle of all action and at the other end of Nanjing Walking Street. You have the best walking street with all huge showrooms the family would want to visit including M&M, Lego, Miniso, Huawei within walking distance. Eric (Manager) was very kind and helpful to give us and all the guests a very special treatment and seeing we are enjoying our stay. We stayed in a duck themed room which was quite good in size and amenities. The breakfast spread was good but could be improved to accommodate Asian / western options. There was a McDonald’s / subway / Pakistani kebab place right below the building. The area felt very safe and not far from bund. The swimming pool and gym was nice as well. We did not get the time to visit the rooftop bar. Overall it was a good stay and we would not hesitate to return or recommend for others

am writing to file a formal complaint about my stay at the Ritz-Carlton Shanghai. The experience was absolutely unacceptable: · The plumbing was a disaster — the toilet wouldn't flush properly. · The water temperature in the shower was completely unadjustable. I spent 15 minutes twisting the tap all the way to cold, but the water never changed temperature — it stayed scalding hot the entire time. · No basic sofa or settee in the room — nowhere to sit or lie down except the bed. And this wasn't a standard room — this was a suite. · The appliances and furniture look at least 20 years old, with visible signs of wear and tear everywhere. · I left my phone to charge overnight — I specifically checked that the charger was working before going to bed. Woke up in the morning to find my phone hadn't charged at all. The power outlets work intermittently at best. · The Wi-Fi was terrible — slow and with extremely low data throughput. It kept buffering and disconnecting, making it impossible to get any work done or even browse normally. · No razor provided in the bathroom. · The hairdryer had no attachments — not a single nozzle or diffuser. And to make things even worse, there wasn't a single power outlet in the bathroom. So in a 5-star hotel, I had to dry my hair next to the bed, with no mirror nearby. Absolutely ridiculous. · The breakfast was very mediocre — just a plain omelet with bacon, and they still managed to ruin it. To top it all off, I decided to order room service. The delivery driver dropped off my food at the reception desk at 10:20 PM and sent me a photo as proof. Do you know how long I had to wait for someone to bring it up to my room? 40 minutes. I went down to the front desk twice to ask about my order, and no one even apologized. We're in the 21st century — most hotels have delivery robots that bring food to your door in 5 minutes. Here, I paid three or four times as much and received this level of service. It's simply insulting. I have already canceled my second night and am checking out early. For this kind of money and with this kind of service, this stay was a complete disgrace. I expect a substantial refund for the night I actually spent here.

Beyond exceptional service! Incredible atmosphere, modern facilities, and huge thanks to Aaron, Silvia, and Tay! Five stars are truly not enough for H+ Hotel Shanghai, Pudong! From the very moment you step inside, the hotel smells delicious, fresh, and welcoming. The entire property radiates a sense of peace and tranquility, making it a wonderful retreat—especially considering we had to check in very late. Having complimentary tea, juice, and water right at the entrance was lovely, but it was the incredible team that made our stay unforgettable. 1. Arron's unmatched kindness and care: Special recognition goes to Arron. When I arrived late at night suffering from a severe cold, Arron didn't just point me to a pharmacy—he searched for an open one, walked me there at midnight, and translated everything so I could get the right medicine. The next day, he even checked in on me to ask how I was feeling and if I needed anything else. That genuine care is something I will never forget. 2. Silvia's incredible attention to detail (Saved my Invisalign!): I also want to give a massive thank you to Silvia. Amidst all the rushing and stress with a family emergency, I accidentally left my Invisalign retainers in a glass cup in the room. My family thought for sure they had been thrown away by housekeeping. When I called back, Silvia immediately checked and sent me a photo showing they were kept completely safe in the cup! Taking such care not to throw away personal items in glasses shows incredible delicacy and respect for guests' belongings. 3. Next-level facilities, room details & Circadian Lighting suggestion: The gym is great, and the self-service laundry features state-of-the-art washing machines with technology I had never seen before—it really shows how advanced China is right now! The spa looked beautiful and high-end (though a bit on the pricier side). The beds are extremely comfortable and a good size for four adults. Feature feedback / Tip on windowless rooms: The artificial window lighting in these rooms is fantastic because it genuinely looks like natural daylight! However, since the beds are so comfortable and the room can get pitch-black, it’s easy to oversleep when you want to wake up early to explore Shanghai. It would be an amazing feature if the hotel could automate these artificial light panels to turn on gradually with the sunrise to support guests' circadian rhythms! Conclusion: Wonderful modern facilities, a peaceful atmosphere, and most importantly, people like Arron, Silvia, and Tay who make this place truly special. I would return here in a heartbeat! 服务超越满分！环境极其舒适，设施先进，特别感谢 Arron、Silvia 和 Tay！ 给五星好评都远远不够！一走进 上海浦东H+酒店 的大堂，就能闻到非常香甜、清新的香氛，整个酒店弥漫着一种平静与宁和的氛围，让人瞬间放松下来。大堂常备的茶水、果汁和矿泉水非常贴心，特别是我们两次深夜办理入住，前台都安排得无微不至。 1. 感谢 Arron 无微不至的照顾： 特别要表扬 Arron。我深夜入住时得了重感冒，非常难受，Arron不仅帮我查了药店，甚至在午夜亲自陪我走到药店并全程帮忙翻译买药。更让人暖心的是，第二天他还不忘关切地问我身体好些没有、还需要什么帮助。这种真诚的关怀实在太难得了！ 2. 感谢 Silvia 极其细致的服务（帮我找回隐形牙套！）： 还要特别感谢 Silvia。由于当时家里突发紧急情况，手忙脚乱中我把自己的隐形牙套（Invisalign）遗留在了房间的水杯里。家人都以为保洁人员肯定当垃圾扔掉了，没想到我打电话过去时，Silvia 立刻帮我确认并拍了照片，牙套被原封不动地妥善留着！保洁人员没有随意清理杯中物品，这种细心和对客人财物的尊重真的让我太惊喜了。 3. 设施体验与无窗房“生物钟照明”小建议： 健身房非常棒，自助洗衣房配置了超现代化的顶尖科技洗衣设备，有些功能我以前从未见过，让人直观感受到了当今中国科技的发展与便利！Spa区域看起来非常高端优雅（虽然价格稍微偏贵了一点点）。床铺极其舒适，尺寸足够四位成年人使用。 关于无窗房的体验与建议： 房间里的模拟窗户灯光设计得太棒了，关灯后视觉效果和自然光一模一样！但因为床实在太舒服，如果关掉灯整个房间会完全漆黑，对于想早起探索上海的游客来说很容易睡过头。如果酒店未来能将这套模拟日光系统自动化，让灯光顺应外界日出时间自动缓缓亮起，帮助调节客人的昼夜生物钟（昼夜节律），那就真的太完美了！ 总结： 环境温馨平静，设施现代化，最重要的是有像 Arron、Silvia 和 Tay 这样优秀的员工，让这家酒店闪闪发光。强烈推荐，下次来还会选择这里！

Due to the recent Typhoon Dolphin, I opted for a staycation at Kerry Hotel Pudong by Shangri-La. Upon arrival, there was no assistance from the bell staff or porters. During checkin, The receptionist handed me a small slip of paper which, at first glance, I assumed was some sort of advisory regarding Typhoon Dolphin. Upon closer inspection, I realised that this tiny, thin and flimsy piece of paper was actually the Kerry Club welcome letter. I found this genuinely surprising. A Club welcome letter is one of the first touchpoints for premium-room guests and would normally be presented on proper stationery. Instead, this looked more like a piece of scrap office paper I would use to test whether a pen still had ink. More importantly, the receptionist did not explain my Club benefits. There was no explanation of breakfast hours, breakfast venue, hotel facilities, checkout time, Club Lounge opening hours or other Club privileges. There was not even a simple introduction along the lines of, “You have been assigned a park-facing room on the Club floor.” As a result, when I entered my room on Level 25, I was initially rather confused. My first impression was that the room felt noticeably dated and I genuinely could not tell whether I had actually been assigned a Club Room. I was not sure if it was one. There was no Club welcome letter placed on the desk, no welcome amenity and no Nespresso machine. In its place were several packets of instant coffee. Even the complimentary bottled water was the basic Coca-Cola-owned Chun Yue (纯悦) brand. At that point, the sign along the corridor was the clearest indication I had received that this was a Club-level stay. Not a great first impression. However, it did get better from there, since I discovered that John Masters toiletries were available in the bathroom, which were nice to use, and I was in fact placed in a high floor room that overlooked century park and I could see the lovely view of the 3 iconic skyscrapers of Shanghai. The housekeeping team were amazing, the longest I waited was just 30 minutes after I had requested items, and they were checking in on whether I needed anything during the turndown service, they were also incredibly friendly and polite. The room was also immaculately cleaned. Truly 5 stars! The lounge was also great - evidenced by the amount of people using it during my 3 nights here at this hotel- the lounge was always busy. The evening cocktail service served beyond the usual typical hors d'oeuvres, and was more like a simple dinner buffet. The main dish on my last night - Beef Biryani was really good, and quite authentic in my opinion. It was good by club lounge food standards. The club lounge staff were also excellent. I remember a Caucasian male staff member — unfortunately, I did not get his name or position — who spoke fluent English, answered my queries clearly and resolved any issues I had promptly. Kudos to him! The gym was so huge and well equipped that I thought I had walked into an expensive commercial gym a la FitnessFirst or Virgin Active. The pool was also large with 5 swimming lanes. Back to the room. The bed was quite hard. On the positive side, the air-conditioning remained strong, quiet and effective despite the age of the hotel. The bathroom was probably where the age of the room was most apparent. There was no rain shower or bidet. Some of the floor tiles near the entrance also appeared to be loose, as I could hear and feel slight movement beneath them whenever I walked in and out. Check-out was brisk and straightforward. This time, a member of staff proactively assisted me with my luggage, loaded my bags into my DiDi and helped with the car door. Overall, I believe Kerry Hotel Pudong remains a good choice for business travellers who need to be close to the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), Huamu or other parts of Pudong. However, I would rate its value for money as merely average.

Exceptional Stay – True Five-Star Experience at Its Finest I had a wonderful stay at The Peninsula Shanghai, and it truly exceeded expectations in every aspect. From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff were warm, attentive, and highly professional, consistently going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and seamless experience. Every interaction felt genuine and thoughtful, reflecting the highest standards of hospitality. The room was beautifully designed, spacious, and extremely well-maintained. The attention to detail was impressive—from the luxurious bedding to the advanced in-room technology, everything was carefully curated for both comfort and convenience. The hotel facilities were equally outstanding. The ambiance throughout the property is elegant and refined, and the location along the Bund offers stunning views and easy access to key attractions in Shanghai. Dining was also a highlight, with excellent service and high-quality food. The overall experience—from check-in to check-out—was smooth, relaxing, and memorable. This is a true five-star hotel that delivers on both luxury and service. I would highly recommend The Peninsula Shanghai and would definitely return on my next visit.

I highly appreciate the outstanding concierge service at Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund. Special gratitude goes to Brin, Tom and Rookie. They are polite, responsive and highly professional. They kindly helped handle luggage, arranged transportation and offered practical travel tips around the Bund. Every request was dealt with efficiently and attentively. Their thoughtful care made my stay comfortable and pleasant. I will definitely choose this hotel again and recommend it to friends.

We had such an amazing stay. Beautiful room with a kids pool in our room. Perfect staycation on rainy days I should say. We celebrated our daughters birthday with just the family. The service was amazing, especially the clean up service, they saw that we were with two kids and they did everything and beyond to make sure we had all we needed with two little children. Breakfast was delicious, I personally loved the yoghurt bar!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is fantastic—within easy walking distance of Shanghai Railway Station. If you’re traveling through Shanghai and need to transfer to Pudong Airport, this is a very convenient place for an overnight stay or layover. The customer service was superb. The front desk staff were friendly, professional, and very efficient. Mr. Li was especially helpful, and it was obvious that he takes his job very seriously. Our room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and quiet. We really had nothing to complain about. The hotel also offers a breakfast buffet with a good variety of selections, which was very convenient before heading out in the morning. Thumbs up for the front-lobby décor! My daughters loved the fountain with the colorful goldfish. Overall, we were very happy with our stay. Great location, excellent service, and comfortable accommodations. We would definitely stay here again!
