The Solymar beach resort is not the most expensive resort in the Hurghada/Safaga area, but it’s also not the cheapest. Because of this, we were expecting it to be quite middle-of-the-range in terms of quality. At every turn, we were pleasantly surprised and delighted. The staff were friendly and courteous - whether at the reception, in the restaurant, or walking past someone watering the grass, you are guaranteed a friendly greeting. Everyone is quick to know their customers - after just a day in our usual spot on the beach, Ahmed knew our usual order. The hyper-energetic Magic Entertainment team members were also quick to build rapport and make us feel included in the resort vibes. We plunged immediately into extreme relaxation with a “honeymoon massage” at the spa, which included time in the dry and steam saunas, a special hammam exfoliation ritual on a heated marble slab, a full-body Dead Sea mud wrap, and an oil massage. The masseuses were talkative and playful - possibly not to everyone’s taste, but this seems to be the Egyptian way and certainly got me smiling and giggling along. There is not a moment of the day when you might be at risk of going hungry. From the early breakfast in the main restaurant, to the late breakfast at the beach, to the drinks and snacks on offer throughout the day at the pool bar and restaurant, there is always a wide array of quality F&B choices. There is some variation from day -to-day options, and it’s always worth checking out the “fresh-from-the-grill” area to see what the day’s speciality may be. Part of the stay includes one complementary meal at one of the two a la carte restaurants (Italian/Egyptian) where the food is a level or two up from what’s served in the buffets. Go hungry - the Egyptian meal included a starter of hot and cold mezze, a soup, a main course and a dessert (with alternative plant-based and kiddies’ menus). The resort has done a lot to ensure that it is eco friendly. Apart from the usual request to hang up towels to save water on unnecessary cleaning, they also purify their own water, which is left in your room in chilled glass bottles (it tastes a little weird, but it’s good for the planet). Overall, highly recommend the Solymar resort.

整個埃及之旅最滿意的酒店，同時也是早餐最豐富最好吃的酒店，早餐有各式各樣的麪包，咖啡，鮮榨果汁，熱食，還有麪餃子壽司這些。房間很大，陽台可以看到部分海景。酒店的沙灘躺椅位置充足，離浮潛的棧橋走路過去很近，棧橋浮潛很美，酒店報的出海浮潛也很美。沒有遇到歧視的情況，遇到的所有工作人員都很友好，主動詢問體驗好不好。整體性價比拉滿，下次來還會住這家。

Keindahan laut ini tak mampu dirakam kamera, pandangan mata kasar jauh lebih memukau birunya. Biru sangat sampai rasa nak bawa pulang. Saya rasa, di laut ini pasti ada puteri duyung. Gambar terus dari kamera, tak perlu pun kata-kata untuk menggambarkan keindahannya, memang sangat cantik! Hotel Hilton ada pantai peribadi yang sangat menenangkan, tiada gangguan orang luar. Kemudahan bilik hotel lengkap, air panas keluar serta-merta — ini memang sangat bagus. Tambahan pula, ia bilik pemandangan laut yang dilengkapi balkoni. Kawasan hotel sangat luas dengan pelbagai tempat aktiviti. Rasa sesuai sangat kalau bawa kanak-kanak ke sini. Secara keseluruhan, memang sangat hebat! Cuma, kebanyakan tetamu di sini adalah warga asing. Saya menginap beberapa hari, langsung tak jumpa pun pelancong dari negara saya (China) di hotel ni... Bila melancong, jangan sesekali percaya apa yang ditulis di Xiaohongshu, kebanyakannya karut-marut. Banyak agensi pelancongan, demi keuntungan, akan galakkan anda ikut pakej pelancongan dan asyik canang tentang ramai penipu di Mesir... Jujur cakap, saya tak jumpa seorang pun. Malah, naik teksi pun siap dapat baki lebih.

We stayed in Jaz hotel for 4 days in early April in a deluxe pool-view queen room. Positives: - The hotel is situated in a very convenient location, on the touristic promenade and quite close to the airport.  - The pools are great, the hotels has in total 6 pools and even though we sometimes had difficulty finding an empty spot to sit at the main pool, we could always find a spot on the other pools where the atmosphere was equally amazing and very relaxing. - The restaurant quality is top notch, one of the best culinary experiences I have ever had anywhere, with a big variety across the different days, along with a focus on egyptian food and seafood, which i appreciated. The restaurant’s head chef himself supervised the dinner serving and gave us daily recommendations. Negatives: - The staff is helpful but not as overtly friendly and willing to help as we had experienced in other hotels. Service can sometimes be quite slow. - The room furniture, even though it’s modern, looks a bit used and is not very well maintained. - The rooms are clean, but again not at the same level of cleanliness you would expect at this price level. - Internet speed is quite low (2-3 Mbps), so no streaming possible - There are daily nightly entertainment programs, however, they are not as varied or extensive as other hotels i had experienced. I got the impression that the hotel is more targeted towards older travelers who prefer the peace and quiet and don’t care about nightly activities, but it may be because of the time of the year I visited in. Overall, it was a good experience and the negatives I listed can be considered nitpicky, but honestly, at this price level, I would expect a flawless experience and I have had better experiences at this price level in Hurghada. The only clear positive for Jaz is the quality of the restaurant.

Rogina Hotel is beautiful and suitable for families. Reception staff Mr. Sharif, Mr. Mohamed Eid, Mr. Ahmed and all reception staff with beautiful smiles. F&B department service is excellent. Thanks and appreciation to the food and beverage department, all of them. The agriculture department, the greenery is very beautiful. And the cleaning department, thanks and appreciation to everyone. Thanks and appreciation to brother Mohamed Hassan. From the first day I entered the room, it was completely clean until I left the room. I hope that when I come again, we will be in the same room and Mohamed Hassan will be present. 泄湖景完全是來搞笑的，所謂泄湖就是個小水泡，陽臺中間還隔着一段距離和樹擋着，跟其他評論一樣，存在一定的歧視，但是大部份工作人員還是挺友善的，雖然這本來就是他們應該做的。中間想加錢升級海景，帶我們去看的也還是一個稍微大一點的水泡而已，工作人員告訴我這已經是最好的海景房了，最後並沒有升級，泳池開放時間特別晚關閉時間卻很早，如果要出海這家酒店完全沒必要，吃的甚至不如國內100塊錢人民幣的自助餐，基本都靠吃麪包吃飽的，我們拿行李小費給了一美金態度還可以，同行的另一對沒有零錢了給了10埃磅態度就很差，對於一家五星級酒店這種事不應該發生，還是建議加錢選擇更好的全包酒店，或者普通的全包，想省錢或者出海沒有時間在酒店那就市區選擇一家便宜的就好了，這邊出行也並不方便，最後，我們check out的時候工作人員態度非常好，忘記問他的名字了，當看到我們自己拿行李過來了一直在向我道歉，告訴我他們應該安排擺渡車過來接我們的，海邊和泳池邊工作人員也很好，太陽下山後我們想去游泳，海邊的工作人員告訴我太陽下山後海里很危險，並且開玩笑説會有鯊魚，泳池邊的工作人員很耐心的告訴我泳池關閉了，要消毒，會傷眼睛，總的來説，真的不值這個價

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Reservation Issue at Jasmine Palace Resort – Hurghada, Egypt Dear Trip.com Customer Support, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a highly distressing experience I had with a recent reservation made through your platform. I booked two rooms for two nights at Jasmine Palace Resort in Hurghada, Egypt, under a non-refundable reservation. Prior to traveling, I called the hotel directly to confirm the reservation and ensure that everything was in order. However, upon our arrival, we were informed at the reception that our reservation would be canceled because the hotel allegedly has an agreement with an Egyptian agency to only accept UK residents for bookings made via Trip.com. This condition was never disclosed during the booking process, and it is entirely unreasonable and discriminatory to enforce such a policy after the booking has been confirmed and paid for. We were met with resistance and an unacceptable level of rudeness from a staff member named Mr. Mohamed, who was uncooperative and arrogant throughout the discussion. Despite my efforts to resolve the situation—including offering to pay the rate difference and suggesting that my son, who holds a valid UK BRP, be listed as the main guest—Mr. Mohamed refused every solution. I was left with no choice but to contact the Egyptian Tourism Emergency Hotline and file an official complaint. Upon requesting to speak with a supervisor, I was connected to Mr. Fathy, who was significantly more professional and understanding. After reviewing our documents and learning that my son has a BRP and that my husband and daughter both hold valid UK visas, he approved our check-in and even offered to upgrade our rooms to deluxe as compensation for the inconvenience. Shortly after, a police officer who had been informed of the situation arrived at the hotel and confirmed that the issue had been resolved. This entire ordeal was not only stressful and humiliating, but it also jeopardized the start of our family vacation and left us deeply frustrated with both the hotel’s discriminatory practices and the apparent lack of vetting on your platform. If the hotel has a residency restriction, it should be clearly stated before booking. I kindly request that Trip.com investigate this matter seriously and take appropriate action. At the very least, I would appreciate a formal apology and a gesture of goodwill, such as a partial refund or credit, to compensate for the emotional distress and time wasted. Lovely hotel ,3 pools …pool with slides, Kids pool and then another family area with pool. We had to move rooms as we had no hot water … but they moved us no problem. The outside areas are lovely … bars around the pools … the only suggestion would be to have nibbles and also ice has to be available … the beach bar no ice at all again this is a no brainer. The food needs overhauling by a chef … hot food generally not hot enough. No chips for kids .. no burgers … the menu needs changing and the cooks need training from a chef The quality of the food needs a lot of improvement… many guests not happy one said it was a culinary catastrophe, a lot started eating out. When you get there you are given a coloured wrist band and the staff will see you are a new arrival. I saw new arrival guests get approached by on site staff selling , massages,nail and beauty makeovers,trips,and ice creams … as many as 5 approaches in 10 minutes. In 5* hotels these people are at stations around the hotel and when guests are ready they go to these stations .. they don’t get hounded …the massage guy approached me 3-4 times a day. Some of the trips need vetting The service was ok and all the staff was friendly … the animation team need new outfits .. I couldn’t really see what they did to be fair .. no games to get people involved. Overall it was a nice stay .. but there is a lot to work on .. I hope they will see this honest review and make changes … it could be a 4-5* but it will only be a 3* if they don’t make changes
