"The hotel was beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for relaxation. It offers several pools and restaurants, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The nighttime pool view from the balcony was stunning, and dining with a view of the pool created a very calm and enjoyable atmosphere.
The only downsides were the following: although the hotel has a beach, swimming in the sea is not possible because of the coral coral reefs and the area is not designed for swimming.
Another issue was the the quality of some food items. While there was a good variety of restaurants and dishes, not all of the food items were well prepared. For example, the burgers, chicken tenders, and kofta at the Sunset restaurant, and the lamb kofta at Melange restaurant were not very good, i mean they were cooked good but not tasty. However, there were still some other dishes that tasted verygood."

Havuzlar güzel geniş sahil, deniz ve kumsal ise gördüklerimiz içerisinde en iyilerdendi. Yemekleri lezzetli çeşitliliği yeterliydi. Müşteri ilişkilerine ayrıca teşekkür etmek isteriz. Başta Elia olmak üzere her biri taleplerimizle yakından ilgilendiler, yardımcı oldular. Ücretsiz alakart Restoran hediyesi ve geç çıkış imkanı sunulması bizleri çok memnun etti. Odalar ve tesisin geneli ***et temiz ve bakımlıydı.

BBryce van de LaarThe Solymar beach resort is not the most expensive resort in the Hurghada/Safaga area, but it’s also not the cheapest. Because of this, we were expecting it to be quite middle-of-the-range in terms of quality. At every turn, we were pleasantly surprised and delighted.
The staff were friendly and courteous - whether at the reception, in the restaurant, or walking past someone watering the grass, you are guaranteed a friendly greeting. Everyone is quick to know their customers - after just a day in our usual spot on the beach, Ahmed knew our usual order. The hyper-energetic Magic Entertainment team members were also quick to build rapport and make us feel included in the resort vibes.
We plunged immediately into extreme relaxation with a “honeymoon massage” at the spa, which included time in the dry and steam saunas, a special hammam exfoliation ritual on a heated marble slab, a full-body Dead Sea mud wrap, and an oil massage. The masseuses were talkative and playful - possibly not to everyone’s taste, but this seems to be the Egyptian way and certainly got me smiling and giggling along.
There is not a moment of the day when you might be at risk of going hungry. From the early breakfast in the main restaurant, to the late breakfast at the beach, to the drinks and snacks on offer throughout the day at the pool bar and restaurant, there is always a wide array of quality F&B choices. There is some variation from day -to-day options, and it’s always worth checking out the “fresh-from-the-grill” area to see what the day’s speciality may be. Part of the stay includes one complementary meal at one of the two a la carte restaurants (Italian/Egyptian) where the food is a level or two up from what’s served in the buffets. Go hungry - the Egyptian meal included a starter of hot and cold mezze, a soup, a main course and a dessert (with alternative plant-based and kiddies’ menus).
The resort has done a lot to ensure that it is eco friendly. Apart from the usual request to hang up towels to save water on unnecessary cleaning, they also purify their own water, which is left in your room in chilled glass bottles (it tastes a little weird, but it’s good for the planet).
Overall, highly recommend the Solymar resort.

PPengguna TetamuThe location and the beach at Sheraton Soma Bay are truly beautiful, and the welcome upon arrival was friendly and attentive. The property is well maintained, but overall it feels quite outdated and somewhat old-fashioned.
Unfortunately, we experienced several service and organizational issues during our stay. At the beach bar, we ordered a milkshake but were served a juice instead without being asked — we were later told there was an issue with the ice. Instead of informing us, the staff simply replaced the drink without consultation.
At dinner, incorrect dishes were brought to our table, and when we pointed it out, we were told the mistake was due to our ordering. One evening, a staff member pressured us to pay immediately and insisted on accompanying us to the reception to clarify the charge, even though we explained that we wanted to charge it to the room. At reception, we were told that charging to the room was perfectly fine. At check-out, we also discovered that one dinner had been charged twice. In addition, our room key stopped working several times on the day of departure — even though we had paid extra for a late check-out.
The food and beverage offering is disappointing. The selection is very limited, especially for non-all-inclusive guests, with very few healthy options. The bar menus — both at the beach bar and the main bar — are closer to snack-bar level than to a hotel of this category. All-inclusive wine is served from cartons, and plastic water bottles are placed on the dinner tables. At breakfast, fresh juices often ran out quickly and were not refilled.
The restaurant is frequently overcrowded, making it difficult to find a table. Compared to other hotels in Soma Bay, this property offers noticeably less atmosphere, entertainment, and overall quality.
In Conclusion: Beautiful location and beach, but service, organization, and overall standards unfortunately do not meet expectations for a hotel in this category. There are clearly better alternatives in Soma Bay.

RR2F2Loved the place. Amazing room, even better view from the balcony. Great food. It's a big resort but it's all walkable. There is a shuttle that will pick you up but I never needed it. Gym was actually decent. Dumbbells, smith machine, a couple benches and a few machines. I was in building 5 which I'm happy I got. It was in the quiet end. The main area played music outside and had a lot of people. My building had very few people on the beach in front of it and it was very quiet. Took an Uber to the downtown area on a couple days. Took around 30 min and cost around 200-250 EGP. InDrive worked better in Luxor, I preferred Uber in Hurghada. Less people try to ask for more money on Uber there. Happy I chose Citadel. Would definitely stay again.

MMarawanWe stayed in Jaz hotel for 4 days in early April in a deluxe pool-view queen room.
Positives:
- The hotel is situated in a very convenient location, on the touristic promenade and quite close to the airport.
- The pools are great, the hotels has in total 6 pools and even though we sometimes had difficulty finding an empty spot to sit at the main pool, we could always find a spot on the other pools where the atmosphere was equally amazing and very relaxing.
- The restaurant quality is top notch, one of the best culinary experiences I have ever had anywhere, with a big variety across the different days, along with a focus on egyptian food and seafood, which i appreciated. The restaurant’s head chef himself supervised the dinner serving and gave us daily recommendations.
Negatives:
- The staff is helpful but not as overtly friendly and willing to help as we had experienced in other hotels. Service can sometimes be quite slow.
- The room furniture, even though it’s modern, looks a bit used and is not very well maintained.
- The rooms are clean, but again not at the same level of cleanliness you would expect at this price level.
- Internet speed is quite low (2-3 Mbps), so no streaming possible
- There are daily nightly entertainment programs, however, they are not as varied or extensive as other hotels i had experienced. I got the impression that the hotel is more targeted towards older travelers who prefer the peace and quiet and don’t care about nightly activities, but it may be because of the time of the year I visited in.
Overall, it was a good experience and the negatives I listed can be considered nitpicky, but honestly, at this price level, I would expect a flawless experience and I have had better experiences at this price level in Hurghada. The only clear positive for Jaz is the quality of the restaurant.

PPengguna TetamuPOUR LES FRANÇAIS .Dans la salle de sport les appareils comme les vélo et un des tapis sont délabré mais le matériel de musculation même ancien et top .la chambre les joints du bas des douches sont noir dans les coins par contre le reste et top pour le prix j'ai payé 50 euros la nuit avec petit déjeuner et dîner tres bonne emplacement en face du mac do même ci je vais pas dans cette endroit la piscine au top l entretien du gazon magnifique la proximité de tout dans l hôtel très bien la plage super mieux que le Hilton les spectacles tous les soirs sur le podium le petit déjeuner bien la dîné par contre les desserts c'est un flop par contre les salades très bien et le barbecue magnifique personnelle a l écoute même ci il comprennent rien au français une piscine a par au p'tit déjeuner c'est magnifique sur la plage énormément d activités et ça c'est vraiment top chaque pingpong volé dance concours AQU gym Champ spectacle déguisement. lancé de hache. Pour le prix que j'ai payé 50 euros la nuit plus petit déjeuner plus dîner je recommande par contre il et préférable a Hurgada de prendre Just le petit déjeuner car la midi vous êtes en activité et le soir au restaurant comme le BOSKA ect.....

PPengguna Tetamu泄湖景完全是來搞笑的，所謂泄湖就是個小水泡，陽臺中間還隔着一段距離和樹擋着，跟其他評論一樣，存在一定的歧視，但是大部份工作人員還是挺友善的，雖然這本來就是他們應該做的。中間想加錢升級海景，帶我們去看的也還是一個稍微大一點的水泡而已，工作人員告訴我這已經是最好的海景房了，最後並沒有升級，泳池開放時間特別晚關閉時間卻很早，如果要出海這家酒店完全沒必要，吃的甚至不如國內100塊錢人民幣的自助餐，基本都靠吃麪包吃飽的，我們拿行李小費給了一美金態度還可以，同行的另一對沒有零錢了給了10埃磅態度就很差，對於一家五星級酒店這種事不應該發生，還是建議加錢選擇更好的全包酒店，或者普通的全包，想省錢或者出海沒有時間在酒店那就市區選擇一家便宜的就好了，這邊出行也並不方便，最後，我們check out的時候工作人員態度非常好，忘記問他的名字了，當看到我們自己拿行李過來了一直在向我道歉，告訴我他們應該安排擺渡車過來接我們的，海邊和泳池邊工作人員也很好，太陽下山後我們想去游泳，海邊的工作人員告訴我太陽下山後海里很危險，並且開玩笑説會有鯊魚，泳池邊的工作人員很耐心的告訴我泳池關閉了，要消毒，會傷眼睛，總的來説，真的不值這個價

Dear Trip.com Customer Support,
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a highly distressing experience I had with a recent reservation made through your platform.
I booked two rooms for two nights at Jasmine Palace Resort in Hurghada, Egypt, under a non-refundable reservation. Prior to traveling, I called the hotel directly to confirm the reservation and ensure that everything was in order.
However, upon our arrival, we were informed at the reception that our reservation would be canceled because the hotel allegedly has an agreement with an Egyptian agency to only accept UK residents for bookings made via Trip.com. This condition was never disclosed during the booking process, and it is entirely unreasonable and discriminatory to enforce such a policy after the booking has been confirmed and paid for.
We were met with resistance and an unacceptable level of rudeness from a staff member named Mr. Mohamed, who was uncooperative and arrogant throughout the discussion. Despite my efforts to resolve the situation—including offering to pay the rate difference and suggesting that my son, who holds a valid UK BRP, be listed as the main guest—Mr. Mohamed refused every solution.
I was left with no choice but to contact the Egyptian Tourism Emergency Hotline and file an official complaint. Upon requesting to speak with a supervisor, I was connected to Mr. Fathy, who was significantly more professional and understanding. After reviewing our documents and learning that my son has a BRP and that my husband and daughter both hold valid UK visas, he approved our check-in and even offered to upgrade our rooms to deluxe as compensation for the inconvenience.
Shortly after, a police officer who had been informed of the situation arrived at the hotel and confirmed that the issue had been resolved.
This entire ordeal was not only stressful and humiliating, but it also jeopardized the start of our family vacation and left us deeply frustrated with both the hotel’s discriminatory practices and the apparent lack of vetting on your platform. If the hotel has a residency restriction, it should be clearly stated before booking.
I kindly request that Trip.com investigate this matter seriously and take appropriate action. At the very least, I would appreciate a formal apology and a gesture of goodwill, such as a partial refund or credit, to compensate for the emotional distress and time wasted.
Please let me know if you require any supporting documentation, including the reservation details, contact logs, or complaint reference with Egyptian tourism authorities.

Великолепные завтраки. Отличное обслуживание везде, ребята очень стараются, и не из под палки а от души. Отель конечно мягко говоря «подуставший», требуется реновация, но стараниями персонала и местоположением это компенсируется))). С удовольствием вернусь.
