This place was stunning and was a beautiful get away vacation. The staff is very friendly and professional and the place is well looked after! The only negative thing is that the restaurant/ food is quite expensive.

The room and service is very nice. However, we are not allowed to book to joining rooms even if I asked for two rooms.

The location is a strong point, being pleasantly separated from the bustling city area, offering a more relaxed and serene environment. The resort features a variety of amenities, including a beach, pool, spa, gym, and bar, catering to both indoor and outdoor activities. However, it's disappointing that some areas were closed, and there was a noticeable lack of maintenance in the facilities. Unfortunately, our experience with the room was quite poor. While the room was spacious, there were several issues: some lights were not working, the air conditioning unit was leaking, and there was a water interruption that affected the supply for most of our stay. On a positive note, the service crew were extremely accommodating and welcoming, which made a significant difference to our overall experience. The breakfast buffet, sky bar, and beach bar served excellent food, living up to expectations. The gym, although equipped with all the basic necessities, showed signs of neglect and was not well-maintained. One commendable aspect of the resort is its safety, especially with the high number of day visitors and foreign tourists, which adds to the feeling of security within the premises

We arrived at 1:30 pm at the front desk of the hotel with my American friends. I booked all the hotel rooms, all paid sometime in Oct. ‘24. The front desk told us we had No rooms . I asked why? I dhowed them the confirmation, your e mail to me…all proof. They told me No payment from you was received by the hotel. I said why would that happened? They said they do not know. And told us flatly that they cannot contact you , the responsibility of contacting ang solving our problem is on me. I said, be reasonable. Trip.com  whatever it is , is your partner in this. I cannot be the victim of whatevrr stupidity that happened. I m paid thats all. Its good a young man intervened and helped solve the problem. I was so furious i would like to kick the desk.  Sfter a long stand off, finally it was found out that you did not make any payment to JPark.  A company like yours, which does not pay, and hotel like JPark which i feel only think of their interest , the result is a victim like me, innocent yet delayed for hours in our use of the hotel room we paid for in advance. I almost turned violent because of what you did. My American and filipino friends could not believe what they are witnessing and experiencing. They can observe my frustration and embarrassment. Finally at a few minutes before 4:00 pm , we got our room. I will never deal with Trip. Com again and will not visit JPark again.  This is Dr Alfredo Valera

The hotel was decent, but there is a deposit not mentioned on Ctrip.com of 5,000 pesos per day when you check-in. I was shocked to hear about this when we checked in. Luckily, i had enough cash on me to cover the deposit. I guess the worst part for me is the fact i booked a ocean club room with ocean view and the view was mostly undeveloped land with trees with the ocean far off to the right and barely in view of my balcony. The beach is full of rocks and i cut my foot walking on the beach so i recommend just using their swimming pools which are nice. Overall, the experience was decent, but not worth the 2500 rmb per night i paid.

I stayed here twice in April & May 2023 and was consistently impressed with the staff & the property. The staff was very friendly, helpful, accommodating and very courteous. The deluxe room had a great view, was large, clean, modern and very comfortable all around. The buffet breakfast was excellent with good selection of Western and Pilipino dishes. And the table service was excellent—shout out to Ariel and staff for a very attentive service! I was also pleasantly surprised at the quality & selection of drink’s & pastries at the Cafe also punctuated by excellent service. The property has 3 great pools, a small private beach , picnic area & fitness center. For me the only service missing is the food room service but it’s a minor item for what I needed. The location is an about 30 min from Mactan airport in a secluded gated area. Getting here was through local neighborhood and inconvenient from other restaurants & services so you’re pretty much will be staying on the property unless you want to go out for a long drive. I paid 650 pesos for a Grab ride around noon time from IT park to Reef. I have been to many 5 star Western style resort hotels in US, Europe & Asia and Reef compares well especially if you can book a discounted room for less than $150 USD. Overall, I highly recommend the Reef Island Resort hotel and will return again when I’m in the area. Definitely a good value for the money and excellent staff.

Luxurious, peaceful, beautiful place to stay and visit. Great pool, restaurant and rooms. You will enjoy the natural environment and the activities like getting swimming, a massage, visiting the petting zoo, watching the nightly movie and making smores.

At a first glance hotel was pleasant, decorated nicely & clean. However no hot water on the first day we asked for someone to check it whom he said it’s broken, maintenance will be in tomorrow to fix it. 4 days later still nobody has fixed the shower and we’re still having cold showers. Room hasn’t been cleaned in that time either although stated it would be every other, no clean towels, no toilet roll, no water to drink (even if paid for) Tours are extremely expensive through this hotel so advise to to research elsewhere for cheaper options. Building works going on which blew dust into the room and covering our clothes/bags & bed. Screaming little kids with no respect for other guests outside the bedroom window at 6am after politely asking them to move along and be quieter they stayed and continued to shout. Buffet breakfast is gone unless you get there before start time (7am) and limited food allowed - don’t eat the pancakes either couldn’t be rawer if the chef tried. Wifi non existent on 3rd floor, Only positive is the pillows were comfy.

Pros: staff were very friendly and nice, grounds in front of the beach were well-kept, extensive menu with fun drinks. Able to pay with a credit card with an additional 3.5%. Scuba personnel were GREAT. The dive masters are able to find all kinds of critters and gave us amazing dive experiences. Cons: staff had to be asked repeatedly in order to get something to happen, the grounds around the resort smelled like sewage and were not well maintained. The water pressure and temperature is awful. Cold SALT-water showers. The taste of the food was so-so. The worst part was we had to CHANGE ROOMS 3 TIMES! We started in the family room for 5 of us. There were springtail bugs and other mite-appearing insects on the walls and on the beds. Some of the bugs bit some of us in our sleep. The roosters that are kept for cock-fighting were right behind us so we heard crossing 24-7. After 2 nights we were moved to two rooms to accommodate the 5 of us. This was a good business move on their part since they were the ones with the infestation problem! We moved to the main building and all was well for one night. However, the next day we found a cockroach in my purse and springtails in our daughter’s bed. Three of us were moved once again and had a good night’s sleep finally. With all the moving around due to issues on their part we didn’t expect to have to pay extra. However, they charged us $1000P because we were put into two rooms. And they charged us $700P for the cot for my daughter. In the end they removed the $1000P but we had to pay the $700P. I would NOT stay at Exotic again and would not recommend. My friend who lives in the Philippines said it was the worst resort he has ever stayed in, in the PH.

I loved how warm and their staff is. It's the perfect resort for a mix of rest, relaxation and adventure altogether. They have a game room. Perfect for barkadas or for siblings or colleagues who checks in at the resort. I was greeted with warms smiles when I arrived. Check-in process was smooth. Check-out process is a bit long though. The room I stayed in is their Tour room. It was clean. I loved my bed and pillows. Aircon, hot and cold shower, TV were working. I like that there are many outlets inside the room and that I could get refillable water at the lobby. My room has a terrace but the view of this particular room wasn't nice but it's okay. They have toiletries and towels. The only missing though is conditioner. Soap is too small over a day's use. Shower area doesn't have a cover so water splashes onto the outside tiles. During my return, I stayed in their villa room, there was no light outside the door so it was challenging to open at night. Villa room is nice too - it has bigger TV, a purifier and a small ref, which I didn't have in their Tour room. Bathroom needs provision for hanging towel near the shower area. No space to put our other toiletries. There was only a space for soap, so we had to put it on the tiles on the side. Regarding amenities, we like that the pool temperature is warm. However, the pool ladder is loose, which can be scary to use. I like that we can use their snorkeling equipment for free and the clear kayak boat is free too for 15 minutes. There's no beach front, as in sand on the beach for you to stay at. Just stairs directly to the water. Our comment regarding the restaurant, the spaghetti was soaky, wonton soup was bland and no fish options on the menu. But some of their food are okay. I hope instead of instant coffee, I can have the option to choose drip coffee or have more decent options in coffee (I was sad about it, as someone who's particular with her coffee). Hope they will have espresso-based coffee or at least brewed coffee available instead of just instant coffee. Internet connection is okay, it might not be quite fast enough for video meetings. I was advised DITO and Globe signal are good in the resort. But maybe it was only just inside my room. I haven't checked the internet speed outside. There's live band after/during dinner time. The group who sang on our stay on the 29th wasn't so good but the one weekend prior was great. During my return, they prepared a small welcome back surprise for me. I felt so special. I really appreciated it. You can also request for them to prepare a small surprise for couples (ie., anniversary). The staff remembers returning guest too! I was also surprised to receive a returning guest voucher (free 1 whole pizza and a pitcher of iced tea - can only be claimed within my stay). The sunset in Pescadores is beautiful too! Overall, my stay was very good. I would still love to come back and will look forward to their improvements and future success. I woul
