The location was the biggest plus for us. Being directly connected to CentralWorld made everything very convenient, especially when travelling with children. It was easy to head out for meals, shopping and activities without having to rely on transport all the time. The hotel is also within easy reach of the Pratunam and Siam areas.
The room was comfortable and suitable for our short family stay. We also found the hotel staff helpful and the overall environment comfortable and convenient for families.
For parents travelling with children, I would definitely recommend this hotel mainly for its excellent location and accessibility. It made our Bangkok trip much easier and more enjoyable, and I would consider staying here again.

TTanNicoleTempah penginapan baru-baru ini di hotel Berkeley. Kebersihan okay, thumbs up kepada krew perkhidmatan bilik! Penginapan saya selama 4 malam boleh diterima, pengisian semula minuman adalah mengikut standard.
Kelemahannya ialah saya tinggal di menara Utara jadi agak menyusahkan untuk turun kerana 2 lif diperlukan. Laluan bilik benar-benar gelap. Tbh hotel ini sangat bagus tetapi tidak mempunyai rasa 5 bintang kepadanya.
Satu kejadian yang ketara ialah saya perlu membuat panggilan ke luar negara yang mendesak pada tengah malam, penyambut tetamu cuba membantu saya tetapi masalah saya tidak diselesaikan. Saya diberitahu untuk membuat panggilan di bilik saya yang saya cuba mengikut arahan di telefon tetapi saya tidak dapat memanggilnya.
Selain daripada semua ini, kami mempunyai penginapan yang menyenangkan di sini.

PPengguna TetamuWe had an amazing stay at this beautiful property. The location is perfect, right on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, offering lovely views and a peaceful atmosphere. The hotel also provides a complimentary boat shuttle service to the nearest pier, making it incredibly convenient to explore IconSiam, WatArun, WatPho, Asiatique etc.
Hotel has an outstanding hospitality. Every member of the staff—from the bell attendants and reception team to the housekeeping staff, are warm, courteous, professional, and always eager to help.
We even got a complimentary upgrade from a Deluxe Premium Room to a Suite, which made our stay even more memorable. The suite was spacious, elegant, and very comfortable. Breakfast got a huge variety to offer.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious stay with exceptional service in Bangkok. We would definitely love to return on our next visit. View from our room is attached.

Requested for a high floor and a room facing the Expressway/highway and got put on a decent 12 floor. Lobby had 3 elevators to which was enough imo!
View was chef's kiss! Room was pretty good for it's price and toilet was huge with a semi auto bidet!
The only caveat was that I now understand the reviews where they mentioned the smell of the drain (from the toilet),
it wasn't smelly all the time but when it did..
it was fine when the bathroom door is closed but going in to use it was a gamble lmao NOT A DEALBREAKER THO (:
The lobby was pretty convenient as there was a few small little food stalls that sold Japanese, Thai food and matcha. Lawson was right at the lobby level too so that was super convenient. Right outside Lawson at the side entrance, there is a delivery drop off shelf that you can snap a photo to send your grab delivery rider but meeting them at the lobby for cash payments was pretty decent too considering how comfortable the lobby was.
Didn't get her name but the lady at the front desk was super helpful! She helped me with getting a late checkout at no fee. Bless her heart and give her a raise!

NNatbuGood hotel in a convenient Bangkok location and in excellent condition. Everything was clean and worked properly. The staff were polite, friendly, and attentive.
Breakfast and housekeeping could be arranged for an extra charge, although we didn’t use these services since there are plenty of places nearby for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The only downside was that you can hear the neighboring room’s doorbell, even when the “Do Not Disturb” mode is on. Also, fresh water and toilet paper were not replenished automatically.
The rooftop pool was a nice bonus and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, we were satisfied and can confidently recommend this hotel.

KKindaketThird time at this property. At this point, the choice barely needs justifying. It just makes sense.
The location is a big part of that. Within easy reach of both Terminal 21 and EmSphere, and a short walk from the BTS and MRT, it puts you right in the thick of things without the chaos of being too central. For getting around, the public transport links are genuinely useful. Though I've found that for spots a little further from the stations, grabbing a bike is often much faster. And for airport transfers, skip the taxi entirely. The airport rail into the MRT is faster, cheaper, and far less stressful than sitting in Bangkok traffic wondering if you'll make your flight.
This stay coincided with some refurbishment and lift upgrading works. Earplugs were left in the room as a courtesy, and honestly the noise never really bothered me. That said, clearer communication ahead of arrival would have been appreciated. With only one guest lift operational at certain times, the staff lift was made available as a backup, but waits during peak hours could stretch longer than ideal. Worth factoring in if you're on a tight schedule. Manageable, not a dealbreaker, but good to know going in.
On the maintenance side, I did flag two issues after the first night. The shower shutter wasn't closing properly, and the TV had a habit of shutting off or pausing on its own. I reported both at the front desk. Nobody came to fix either during my stay. It didn't ruin anything, but it's the kind of follow-through that matters, especially for a returning guest.
The service overall was warm and welcoming. Staff greet you like they mean it, which sounds like a small thing until you've stayed somewhere that doesn't bother.
But the standout of this trip, genuinely and unexpectedly, was the housekeeper, Ya Hin.
In the morning she'd check in to ask what time I'd prefer my room serviced. That alone is a level of consideration most hotels don't think to extend. On one of those days, she left behind a rabbit folded from a hand towel. The kind of detail that makes you pause and smile before you even put down your bags. The next day she asked if I'd like another. I told her it wasn't necessary. She heard me, and I thought nothing more of it.
I came back that evening after a particularly hectic day. The kind where Bangkok has wrung you out completely. On the bed sat a towel folded into the shape of a girl, and beside it, a handwritten note wishing me well.
I'm not someone who reaches for words like ”touched” easily. But that got me.
It's a small gesture in the scheme of things. But it's exactly the kind of human moment that separates a hotel stay from an actual experience. Ya Hin, if this ever finds you: thank you.
For frequent Bangkok visitors who want a well-located base with good transport links and staff who genuinely care, this property earns its return visits. If you're planning a stay soon, it's worth checking ahead whether refurbishment works are still ongoing. The hotel feels like it's going through a proper upgrade, and the end result will likely be worth it. Just something to be aware of when booking.

This hotel is full of color and vibrant fun! Friendly staff with a great lobby for guest interaction . There are many extra amenities, with the spa, ice pool and lounging space on the roof. The rooftop is a great place to finish the day, with food, and drinks. It is a great place to capture the moon.

I recently stayed at Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium room 842 from 27 May to 1 June and would like to share some feedback regarding my experience.
First and foremost, I would like to emphasize that I genuinely enjoyed my stay. The hotel, facilities, and the majority of the team members provided excellent service, and overall I had a pleasant experience.
In fact, I am not the type of guest who frequently raises complaints. During my travels, I spend very little time in my hotel room. Most of my day is spent outside the property, and my interaction with the hotel is generally limited to breakfast and sleeping. As such, it takes a significant issue for me to feel compelled to formally raise a concern.
The first issue relates to breakfast. During my stay, I invited a Muslim friend to join me for breakfast. He entered the restaurant with me but did not consume any food because he was unable to find suitable options that met his dietary requirements. While I acknowledge that I did not raise this directly with the restaurant team at the time, I was surprised when Reception later informed me that they had verified that my friend had taken breakfast.
From my perspective, entering the restaurant should not automatically be considered as consuming breakfast when no food was actually taken. Nevertheless, I have decided to let this matter rest and move on.
The second issue is far more serious and is the primary reason for this email.
On my final night at the hotel, I was expecting a visitor. However, Reception did not contact me to verify whether I was expecting anyone before allowing my visitor access to the guest floors. Instead, my visitor was simply directed to my room and arrived at my door unannounced.
Having worked within the Accor group for approximately 15 years as a Duty Manager in Singapore, I am very familiar with hotel operational procedures, guest privacy standards, and security protocols. It has always been my understanding that when a visitor arrives for an in-house guest, Reception should first contact the guest to obtain authorization before granting access to the room floors.
While my visitor was indeed expected on this occasion, Reception had no way of knowing that without contacting me first. Had the visitor not been known to me, this could have resulted in a serious security and privacy issue. In my professional opinion, allowing a visitor direct access to a guest room without prior verification is unacceptable and falls short of the standards expected from an Accor property.
What further disappointed me was the handling of the matter after I raised my concern.
I wish to be clear that I am not seeking compensation of any kind. My concern is not financial. Rather, I expect an appropriate resolution and acknowledgement of the seriousness of the issue. Simply being told ”sorry” was not sufficient given the nature of the security lapse.
The alternatives presented to me by the Night Manager were also, in my view, unreasonable. One option was for me to move to another room on my final night. Considering that I was due to check out the following morning, I found this solution impractical and disruptive. Being asked to pack my belongings and relocate because of an issue that was not caused by me did not seem to be an appropriate resolution.
I was also informed that a Reception Manager would speak with me. However, I was unable to wait indefinitely for the manager's arrival. As a guest who was raising a legitimate concern, I do not believe I should have been expected to delay my evening plans or remain available for an uncertain period of time. Furthermore, I was scheduled to leave the hotel at 7:00 AM the next morning in order to arrive at the airport early for my flight.
For these reasons, I felt that the issue was not properly addressed during my stay, which is why I am bringing it directly to your attention.
