I stayed at the Crocus Tashkent Hotel in Uzbekistan from July 31st to August 7th, 2023 for a training course organized by the IIHF. Overall, the hotel provided a pleasant experience during my one-week stay. First and foremost, the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel were well-maintained, although I changed my room twice because of problems with the ventilation system and bathroom hose problem. The rooms were adequately spacious and had decent amenities. The hotel also had a small pool, which was a useful spot for relaxation, and we had memorable nights there. The hotel's food was average to good and of satisfactory quality. The location of the hotel was not particularly interesting, but with a short walk of at least twenty minutes, one could reach sightseeing and recreational areas, although Tashkent itself doesn't have many tourist attractions. The hotel staff, especially during morning shifts, spoke English well and were helpful in many situations such as obtaining a SIM card and arranging taxis. The people of Uzbekistan are known for their hospitality. If I were to visit Tashkent again, this hotel would likely be among my top choices.

Honestly, the service was good. Be it day or night, the staffs were very helpful and always there to help you. I appreciate very much! Their service is similarly where you will get from a renowned hotel. However, if you want to be in the centre of the city, then you might want to consider because the location is quite far from the touristy sights. As for me, I am a solo traveller, and I always like to wander around further from the city whichever country I’m in, hence I chose this hotel. But worry not, if you have or download Yandexgo (similar to Uber), then you could just travel by taxi from the app. It’s cheap and affordable. You can even order food or engage a delivery service. There’s also a local fastfood Evos beside the hotel and also a convenience store across the road. Overall, I am satisfied during my 4-day stay.

Despite facing language barriers or challenges in communication, they handled it with grace and professionalism, ensuring that we received the services we needed without any hitch. the prices were more than reasonable, making it a win-win situation for us as customers. We left feeling satisfied and content with the excellent value we received for our money. Additionally, the location is conveniently accessible. Finding it was a breeze, and it spared us the stress of getting lost in an unfamiliar area. Moreover, the added convenience of a nearby convenient store proved to be a cherry on top, making it easy for us to grab any necessities we required during our visit.

It was four fantastic days at the Hilton Tashkent city in the middle of the silk road mixed very carefully between the traditional hospitality of Silk Road in the modern Hotel very warm welcome team the breakfast choice was incredible I would never try all of it in one week very fresh delicious food bit slow service but great experience the room and the view I stayed in my room half day very relaxing watching the park and the mixture of the city history very clean room you can have all the time the fresh free fruit at the lobby then they add candy on big round table I really Enjoyed my stay reception team so nice. How much check in was done by Feruza with a little help of what seems to be her superior. Though it took a while before somebody came to collect our luggage checkin procedure was really welcoming. Cold towels, welcome drinks, while getting the administration soughted out. After we settled in the room, we went to the lounge, given access to due to the fact that we reserved a suite (room 1405). Sharif (or charif?) was there to welcome us and made sure our needs were met. Breakfast is a feast. Suite was spacious and comfortable. We had dinner in Ember located on the 17th floor of the hotel serving great Japanese food. See our separate review for our findings over there. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that they do not have a souvenir shop so that you can buy a quick present for your loved ones. This venue just opened last March and is great to see how much effort staff is putting in to give you a wonderful state.

We enjoyed staying at the hotel, came for 4 days in April for business/leisure activities. Rooms are clean, food is tasty, staff is plate and friendly. Barman was so kind to prepare lemon and ginger tea for me. Cleaning lady Maftuna made my stay pleasantly clean

I am disappointed. One reception boy with glasses was completely incompetent. When I called to reception they even could not solve my problem. They said that they would call me back. But they didn’t. Therefore I had to go out of my room. When I was talking to the reception the boy was not able to answer my question and it was easier to him refer to hotel rules this looked lik I was talking to a robot and his manager’s face was furious and they didn’t like my complain. Perhaps they were not ready. What about the room: Room is out-dated. Bathroom really needs a new shower cause water is everywhere after. The floor was covered with unpleasant spot and the furniture as well. Despite these things, they were willing to take money for stay at hotel. Guys, you should solve these problems. Because The International Hotel Tashkent used to be my favorite one. Location is perfect. Housekeeping, swimming pool staff, bartenders and waiters are nice.

We stayed here 3 separate times in 15 days. The staff throughout were helpful, personable, and always had a smile. There was an exchange machine (Som to dollars and vice versa), and an ATM. The location was good for us; close to the market, shops and several restaurants. The restaurant in the hotel was very good but a bit expensive. As others have said, breakfast was second to none! There was everything you could wish for, including freshly cooked eggs. All in all, we enjoyed our stays here very much.

I checked in with my new wife as we just got married and the hotel reception demanded that we need a marriage certificate to stay at their hotel as my wife was Uzbekistan citizens and me being Uk. The reception was very rude unhelpful and even I was telling them that I am with my wife they didn’t want to check me in I found this very upsetting as I said if my girlfriend or female friend, wife was another nationality they won’t ask me for anything after talking to some fake managers that came to the reception they had to make so many phone calls to some places and after 45 minutes of waiting at the reception desk finally they checked us in was terrible no apologies was offered from 4-5 staff that had dealt with us 2 we’re supposed to be management which am not sure I feel they lied. I wasn’t happy at all with this from such a large hotel chain which I have used them in other locations. Room was good sized clean but service in general was poor for such a new hotel. Even morning breakfast staff no one ever said good morning or anything. There was no security at the front door ever when we came in or left the hotel to see local tourists attractions. Avoid the bar too expensive and cocktails weren’t great head to local restaurants for cheaper drinks. It’s a shame I can’t rate the service less than 1 stars if I could I would rate the service 0 stars. We stayed at the Wyndham in Tashkent as well with my wife didn’t have issues and staff there were fantastic.

AAlixWonderful location and great quality service. Large room in contemporary style furniture. Warm and comfortable beddings. Great 24hr access to a Hot water and central heating is kudos to this hotel during this winter season.
Hotel Personal is helpful and open for assistance at any time upon guest request.
Cons: Circulating security guard in the main lobby with swinging car keys in his hands is unfortunate site seeing.
Wishing bar could stay open past midnight. During my stay the hotel pool and spa center was not operating and closed.
Overall best value hotel from 20 in the city

This is quite a basic Premier Inn style of hotel. Sleep is disturbed by tour parties arriving and departing during the night, as well as the dog barking and the cock crowing. Room 601 only had 1 chair for 2 people, and the door handle to the bathroom just falls off. Room 511, where we also stayed, the window does not shut properly. Towels feel like old worn out nappies, and the room may not be serviced until late afternoon. Replenishment is also spasmodic. Some receptionists very helpful, others not. The room safe is above the fridge, so it gets very hot inside. Best not to put anything with a battery in it. Breakfast is adequate, but the hot food is cold. No English menu available, and the translation not very good, so we ate out. Way out from the city centre, so you are best using the metro, which is cheap and easy, but quite a long walk away.

Если попросить - сварят кофе. Еды много, но выбрать трудно что-то ,что можно поесть на завтрак. Фруктов нет совсем. Расположен не очень близко к центру. Минут за 20 можно дойти до Мэджик Сити. Но идти вечером придётся по тёмным безлюдным улочкам. До станции метро (ближайшая ”Космонавтов”) тоже неблизко.

Всегда готовы помочь в любом вопросе, отвечали на все вопросы, возникшие во время нашего проживания, что создаёт приятную атмосферу. К уборке нареканий не было. В гостинице предоставляют бесплатным Wi-Fi интернет с очень хорошей скоростью, не только на территории гостиницы но и в номерах а также имеется парковка. На завтрак предоставляют богатый ассортимент сыров, мясо- копченных и кондитерских изделий, фрукты нескольких видов, 2 вида каш и блюда из национальной кухни. несколько видов кофе и большой ассортимент напитков и чая. В гостинице также имеется места для фотосесий и проведения романтического ужина для влюблённых пар и для тех кто желает быть связанными узами брака. Обязательно вернусь в Shaxjahon hotel.

RRamonI arrived at 2300 and there is a monopoly of taxis. Frankly, I just wanted to get to the hotel so I hired the official airport taxi (there is a stand before customs, as well as money change facilities). The driver had a little difficulty locating it, but it is actually a couple hundred of meters from a mayor street.
After traveling in China, I was relief to notice that the people at the hotel speak English (thanks Haselbeck). The room is clean and right behind the reception, at street level. Since the windows open, I asked Haselbeck about the crime situation and he laughed, stating that this doesn't happen in Uzbekistan.
Breakfast was very good, with cold meats, eggs, cereal, cookies, cake, tea, coffee and blynis. While having breakfast I spoke to a person from India who was working is Tashkent about how he transports, since the Metro is about 1600 m away. He laughed it and told me to use Yandex Go and order taxis. Great find! They are really inexpensive .

The rooms at Ramada Tashkent exude a sense of understated elegance, with modern furnishings and plush bedding that provide the perfect sanctuary after a day of exploration. There was not much of a view of the city skyline (as we were on level 2), but every detail was carefully curated to ensure a restful and rejuvenating experience. They even sent a complimentary fruits platter to the room as it was my mother’s birthday. Definitely will come back and stay again.

It is good for Chinese but for Uzbeks it is trash! Before my visit they told me not to accept Uzbeks! How come is this? Actually, before checking I booked the Hotel with my Korean Card! They told me you booked already no problem you can stay.. this time but normally our boss doesn't allow uzbeks to stay because our Boss is Chinese!! What the hell? In Uzbekistan Chinese boss is racist! Do your business in China then! What the hell you are doing In Uzbekistan?

PPengguna TetamuYou stay here for the experience not the quality of the hotel! This place is kitsch and a wonderful relic of the cold War! Stayed here twice as part of a group tour and was charmed by the haphazard nature of the place! Reception is a vast space with plenty of seating and a bar at one end. You can get cold beer here that you can take away to your room. Both rooms we had were large with twin beds at one end and a loungue type area at the other. The major bonus was we had a balcony each time; great views from the higher floors and a good place to hang out some washing! The first room the balcony was accessible from two doors, the second room had one door blocked with a chest of drawers and the handle removed! Bathrooms are a bit dated and you sometimes have to wait for hot water! Not all rooms have balconies so you might need to request. The money exchange was really useful, although they wouldn't change local currency back again. The rooftop bar is actually the top floor as opposed to on the roof but the windows open in and you get great city views. Breakfast buffet is excellent, especially the omlette chef! Location of the hotel is also strong, metro just to right of entrance and lots of attractions, bars and restaurants in walking distance. A couple of reviews say Reception staff don't speak great English - you can get round this with Google translate so not a big deal. We also had two people on our two given each others passports - the onus is definitely on you to check!If you don't mind quirky this hotel is for you!

Rooms are small but functional 3. it is an old property but functional in a good manner 4. Helpful staff, Reception will help to book Yandex taxi 5. Large and decorative lobby with ample seating 6. Recommended if budget is a concern - MId segment 7. Breakfast - Nice one with clear demarcation of VEg and non Veg items 8. In-house Indian restaurant - ”Rajkapur” 9. Lots of parking and located on the main road - Easy to access by walking or taxi or public transport Cons: 1. Nothing since we consider it to be a basic but functional and clean premise for a couple of nights We stayed one night and it worked for us, we may return for short stay again
