Boutique Hotel Bacvice

This establishment is claiming to be a 4 star hotel. However, this is not even a hotel. It is 7 luxurious guest rooms located in an administrative building on the 3rd floor without a lift. Other tenants of this building include a testing centre for HIV, Hepatitis and Syphilis!!! The reception is only open till 10pm. And the only other service apart from the accommodation is breakfast. On my request to provide a licence to operate as hotel, they could not find the hotel. Neither does any prove that they are 4-star hotel. This is a misuse of presenting itself as a hotel to attract more visitors. There are no signs of being a 4-star hotel neither on the building nor on the door to the "hotel".

My partner and I stayed here for 7 days and it was so lovely. The rooms are kept clean daily by housekeeping and amenities available if you need them during your stay. The fresh continental breakfast every morning was also so lovely and very popular with most guest. The staff are so kind and welcoming - in particular the man who works on reception (never caught his name) thank you for making our stay so lovely.

Stayed here for a week with the missus during our visit to split at the start of May 23. Hotel is situated about 15 mins steady paced walk from the old town and about 5 mins walk from the beach so fairly easy to get around from. The actual hotel is situated on one entire floor on the second elevation of an apartment building and its been really tastefully redecorated. Once you get past the door into the hotel area from the communal corridor it really is a big contrast to the entry and staircase! Hotel was spotless and our room was very clean and comfortable. No issues with the air conditioning which is great given Split was quite warm during our visit. Room was cleaned daily and we had fresh towels provided daily. Breakfast was also included and there was a good selection of fruit, cereal, tea, coffee amongst other staples on offer. Freshly cooked eggs to order where also available upon request. We took full advantage of being able to sit on the balcony during the warm sunny mornings while eating our breakfast. Staff where really friendly and helpful and i cant fault them at all. Lovely people. Be aware that there is no lift to the hotel area so people with mobility issues this might not be the place for you. Would i stay again? Yes i would.

La semaine passée a été excellente. L’emplacement est exceptionnel à Split : Près de la plage de Bacvise ( 100 mètres ), de la promenade de Split et de la Vieille Ville et de toutes les excursions proposées y compris port pour bateaux avec liaison maritime. Un service de taxi est disponible si besoin et Uber fonctionne bien aussi. Sur l’hôtel : La chambre environ 24 m2 est conforme aux photos. L’équipe est absolument sympathique et aux petits soins des clients. La propreté et le service de chambre est au rendez vous. Point à améliorer : Le petit déjeuner n’a pas varié durant une semaine c’est vraiment dommage, il faudrait faire un effort avec du vrai jus de fruit ( pomme/orange ou autres) et pas de la grenadine ou jus dilué. La charcuterie a été la même aussi. Au vu de la qualité de ces 6 chambres seulement. ce point mériterait une attention particulière pour être parfait. Nous précisons un point important cependant: - L’hôtel se trouve dans un immeuble très moyen où l’entrée n’est pas conforme à ce que l’on trouve une fois la porte passée dans le hall et les chambres. -il n’y a pas d’ascenseur : bagages lourd et personnes en difficulté de marche s’abstenir. Au final : excellent rapport qualité prix
