"I stayed here for 5 days, and for the price, it was excellent value for money. The location is right in the heart of the old town. Getting there is a bit winding, but on the plus side, you're not too bothered by tourist noise. Most places are about a 10-minute walk away, and they even provide a simple breakfast in the mornings."

"This hotel had the feel of a university dormitory. The room wasn't particularly spacious, but the clever storage solutions made it comfortable and affordable. The beach is within walking distance, though it takes about 20 minutes. Breakfast was a typical buffet, but considering the room rate, it was perfectly satisfactory. The laundry facilities are in the basement and can be operated with a card. Washing cost 3 Euros and drying was 1 Euro. Getting to the city center by Uber cost less than 10 Euros. There's also a supermarket nearby, which was very convenient. There's quite a steep hill leading up to the check-in desk (front desk), but even with large luggage, we managed fine! I'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an affordable stay."

"The location is excellent! Safe and comfortable, and the staff are very welcoming. However, I should suggest that people smoking on the balcony close the door, otherwise the smoke will drift into the kitchen. Also, the sofa covers in the living room are quite greasy and should be washed."

"The hotel is relatively new and in excellent condition. It's in a wonderful location: across the street from the sea, close to the city center (a 10-minute taxi ride), and the best beaches in the city are right next to the hotel. Breakfasts are delicious and varied. Stunning sea views from the rooms and the rooftop bar. The wellness area is fantastic, with a sauna, hammam, indoor and outdoor pools, sun loungers, and a bar. Cons: toiletries and tea/coffee in the room were replenished only upon a call to reception each time; the maid never updated them herself. There were also delays with towel changes; upon arrival, there was only one robe and slippers; they were brought to me upon a call, but nonetheless, they were still available."

"Definitely not a 5 star hotel experience (see below for list of 5 star standard amenities which were not present). At best a solid 4 star level and customer service was basic. Pool & Spa area was unusable because of ineffective air conditioning (air temperature was 30C+). Amenities not present- no room service, mini bar, or safe in room, limited drawer space, no large bath towels. Poor coffee and no table service at breakfast; quality of food not great (e.g. tinned fruit rather than fresh). Room was spacious, modern and clean. Location not good- distant from old town and in quite a run down neighbourhood."

"The price was exorbitant, especially considering the spa was in a deplorable state and didn't even work. Dirty shoes and discarded cardboard boxes... The electrical outlet next to the bed had been ripped from the wall, and construction work started at 8 a.m. in the hotel. The rooms were poorly soundproofed; if your upstairs neighbor flushed the toilet, you could hear everything. We complained to reception, and the staff was very welcoming. However, the rating we gave on the booking site didn't sit well with the manager, who then sent us unpleasant and threatening emails. So yes, we received a €60 refund out of €176 (including a generous breakfast). But that doesn't excuse us from giving a concrete review of the service we received. If we had seen these kinds of comments, we wouldn't have booked there, especially since the hotel is located 10 minutes from Split, and there's very little to do in the surrounding area unless you have your own transportation."
