"For those older guest with substantial amount of luggage, the hotel “Various” entrances were not convenient for arriving and departing . The porter don’t seem to be always around. Reception staff did their best but could Hv been abit more experience in finding taxi for guest since the taxi stand is located quite near the hotel."

"Aside from the towels and bath towels not being brand new, all other room amenities were exceptionally comfortable and clean. A special mention goes to the breakfast: it was incredibly plentiful, and in warmer weather, you could enjoy a leisurely meal outdoors, facing the sea. The outdoor swimming pool was not heated, so it was unavailable in November."

"I came to Split with 3 friends to celebrate our 40th birthdays. We had the most wonderful holiday and stayed at the Bel Residence. When we arrived we had such a wonderful welcome from Anna who explained everything so well we didn’t need to ask any questions. She helped us plan our stay and have really helpful advice about trips and places to eat and drink. She helped make my friends birthday really special with a delicious cake. The hotel is very friendly and exceptionally clean. We all enjoyed using the coffee machine. The hot chocolate the best I have ever had. The pool was lovely and clean and private - comfortable sun lounges and towels available. The little fridge in the room was stocked with drinks and snack’s which were the same price you can buy in the shops. Really nice little toiletries available in the rooms. We had a fantastic meal at a nearby restaurant called Maestro and lovely cocktails at the tennis bar. The beaches in Split and surrounding islands are beautiful. We had a wonderful day at Krka national park - the waterfalls are stunning and definitely worth a visit. Lots of special memories made. Thank you for such a wonderful stay."

"Split is a relatively small Croatian city, so I wasn't expecting such a high-class hotel. The staff was excellent—polite and professional. The room was large and very modern. The location was excellent—just steps from the city's main sandy beach and a ten-minute walk from the Old Town and Diocletian's Palace. All electronics and plumbing worked perfectly. The breakfasts were delicious and varied. The hotel was clearly originally built as a hotel—its original architecture attests to this. I recommend this new, cozy, and comfortable hotel to anyone planning a trip to Split."

"This was one of the nicest little hotels we have stayed in. It was small with so much character. The walls inside and out were limestone and although it had many of the original features, it felt new. I think it was the staff that completed the stay. They couldn't do enough for you, and it was genuine. They were all so lovely. We didn't realise breakfast was included until they counted out a voucher for each night we stayed, which was for a wonderful restaurant (Seven) - you did have a choice of 2 restaurants but the staff in Zinfandel weren't nearly as welcoming and the food wasn't as good in my opinion. The staff in Seven were so friendly and the French toast was too die for! The hotel was about a 5 minute walk from the main town with an abundance of restaurants everywhere, yet you felt like you were in the sticks when you got inside the hotel, it was so quiet. It also had a nice little pool and a terrace too if you fancied a bit of time out. Don't be put off with it not having it's own restaurant or bar as there are so many around, the closest behind about 30/40 metres. We all loved it here, try it, you won't be disappointed."

"To write down exactly what I experienced: - There were so many Chinese group tourists that I mistook myself for being in China during breakfast. - The location is a bit secluded, and the building in front is an abandoned structure (an old bus terminal). - On the first day of check-in, there was no hot water, so I felt a bit cold after showering. It was fine from that day on. - Bottled water is not provided, which is similar to many hotels in Croatia. - No indoor slippers. - Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are all in a single tube. - The electric heater in the bathroom (usually used for drying handkerchiefs and socks after hand washing) did not work. - The safe did not work; I requested repairs but was unable to get them fixed."

"Hotel located in the city center, near the bus stop. The hotel is clean and has private parking. Very friendly staff. The room is nice and spacious. A few minor issues with the bathroom. The toilet paper holder is much too far from the toilet; it's not in the right place at all. There's at least 1.1 meters between it and the toilet."
