First time staying in a Holiday Inn, and it was a fairly positive experience. The room was very clean and the attention to detail was good- but the hotel felt outdated, which is a shame. Very peaceful night's sleep with very comfortable beds. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Basic but great value hotel. Room was clean and comfortable, staff were great and very attentive and helpful, breakfast was a nice bonus and had everything you could want. There were gym facilities that we didn’t use but a cool bonus.

Good hospitality

It is a nice surprise to stay in the hotel for weekend. The hotel price is very reasonable, which also included full English Breakfast buffet, to my surprise. The hotel also have swimming pool and Suna though we don't have time to use. The room is also spacious. There are plenty of space for car park just in front of the hotel.

The pool opened late and closed early, they were extremely short on staff and to top it all, we had to pay again at the hotel after we had already paid trip in advance, I am currently in the process of complaining to Keith Barr

I usually love Holliday ins, but for some reason the Ipswich one charges £16.95 for breakfast !! Per person, which is insane. And the receptionist at night time was very rude when I can down for some water. I was questioned on what room number I was in and accused of not actually having a room that night in the hotel

Sent two members of staff there to stay. They said the facilities were excellent, so was the breakfast.

Everything about our stay was great from checking in and being offered a room nearer the pool to the wonderful breakfast we had everyday. The staff were exceptional and couldn’t do enough to help the guests and nothing was too much trouble. Parking was free and very convenient. I would highly recommend this hotel and will be using it again in the near future.

Staff were nice and helpful. Family room was tiny with no space around the sofa bed once it was out. Had to climb over it to go to the bathroom. Very disappointing. The sink in the bathroom was cracked. Shower was good. Room service food was awful & overpriced. The soup was an inedible mush, the cheeseburgers came without cheese and part of order was missing. No one answered phone for room-service, housekeeping or front desk so had to go down each time to sort things. Breakfast was good

Hotel staffs are very friendly and professional. Breakfast options are also very good. In my opinion, the essence of hospitality business is friendliness to guests. I stayed this hotel for 7 nights and I really liked the way hotel staffs are interacting with guest. Very professional. I travel a lot and stay many different kinds of hotels on business. I am a Hilton Diamond member in the U.S. so my standard is quite high. Having said that, I was very impressed with service, friendliness, and kindness of all hotel staff. I personally think this hotel is managed very well.
