Kinnettles Hotel & Spa

The hotel was perfectly located and Schola was beyond wonderful. She explained how everything about breakfast and the spa worked and even walked us across the street to our room to show us how the touch screen hotel information worked. The room was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. She turned on the heater and we got ready and left for the exclusive use of the spa. The spa was great but be advised that there are cameras inside the spa. Sadly good sleep was not in the cards as the bed was extremely lumpy. One of us ended up sleeping on the floor.

Fantastic stay in June 2024 with comfy beds and very easy access to the town centre and beach. The staff were very helpful taking us to our room and were very approachable through our stay. The blue coffee stand on the corner next to the hotel made excellent teas and coffees and is worth trying.

Just had a lovely Spa Day. From entering the hotel greeted by a warm smile at reception. We had an Itison Deal, one hour use of Spa and Treatment. Shown round the Spa (our 1st time). Even better when we were told we had private use of the Spa for an hour. Sauna , Steam room, Jacuzzi, ESPA shower, shampoo and body lotion products supplied. We choose swedish massage and calm relaxing massagse both therapist were experienced. The treament were so relaxing. Afterwards there is a chill out room with herbal tea / water. Although we only visited the Spa, seen Reception Areaand the bar which are beautiful and very well designed. We normally go to the Old Course Hotel Spa, have to say this was a more personal experience. Definelty a return visit will be on the cards.

We spent a very pleasant week at the Kinnettles. It's a small, friendly hotel in a great location for visiting the city. The rooms are very comfortable and well equipped. We would like to thank all the staff for their kindness, especially Irene.

Had a day out in St Andrew's on Saturday 11th May as it was a lovely day,so we pop in kinnettles Hotel for a few drinks. As there's outdoor sitting on the pavement so we get a table outside. As it was very hot day my friend took off his T-shirt,staff take our order with no issued at all didn't even mentioned or bothered about his not wearing a T-shirt. After our forth rounds of drinks, this man passed our table bend over to my friend in a impolite bad mannered way and tell him in my Hotel you can't dress like that and he walk away.We where shocking even other guests having a drinks think he was rude. I pointed out to the staff and she tell me not to worry about it, we didn't have a problem plus you guys where sitting outside. The Owner should know better how to talk to Guests he was so unprofessional, and we will not be going back.

Delighted with all aspects from classy fittings and decor to friendly staff with a delicious breakfast . Highly reccommend .

Above and beyond was the service received from before we arrived right up until we left this morning. We stayed in a deluxe double room, which was lovely and modern. The bedroom was a very clean room and the bed was very comfy (I am a light sleeper). We used the spa, which was brilliant and the gentleman on reception ensured we had iced water with lemon, fresh towels and offered to assist with whatever we required. Nothing was too much trouble. Prior to arrival the staff also helped me out by contacting local pubs to find out where I may be able to watch the football that night - very helpful! Overall the staff made the stay extra special, the breakfast staff today were very friendly and kind. It is very much appreciated and we cannot wait to book again. Also, the breakfast was the best I’ve had at a hotel in a long time!

Honestly where to begin? We had booked this hotel as we had previously used the spa and had treatments on a previous itison deal and had such a beautiful time with the therapists and were looking forwards to seeing them again. Boy, where we disappointed Room was unclean, dust everywhere, wasn’t entirely sure if the bedsheets had even been changed. Bathroom certainly wasn’t cleaned as there was still rubbish in the bins and the overwhelming smell of sick. Where do I even begin with breakfast? Abysmal, over cooked and just not very nice at all. Spa treatments were decent, however missed the friendliness and talents of the previous therapists. The spa was ok as it was exclusive use however there was no water anywhere, towels all over the place, looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The ladies changing room had a funky smell to it and the mould in the shower was off putting. It could be a beautiful hotel if cleaned correctly and given a bit of an uplift and it’s in a great location but my goodness does it need a massive overhaul with staff and management. We had booked for 3 nights but left after the first one and spent the rest in the Rusacks which was perfection.

Perfect from start to finish the staff were very friendly helping with any enquiries we had. Rooms were spotless & very comfortable. Mini bar well stocked, although the breakfast wasn’t included we took the option to add this and it was very good with plenty of choice.
