PPengguna TetamuThey were good about getting the check-in information outside of desk hours. They have a washing machine, but have a lot of rules around being able to use it. It was very close to the main pedestrian street. The common kitchen was super cute and stocked with coffee and snacks.

FFilipino Traveler & Entrepreneur - Beverly VegaHotel was nice, glad that I’ve found it online, it’s hard to find a good hotel to book online due to tons of negative feedbacks, but this one has a great feedback so I booked it. And it did not disappoint me. Hotel is clean with good fragrance that you can smell the moment that you’ll enter the lobby / reception. Service is great, friendly and accommodating staff. The room is spacious, seems like a 4 star room for me. They serve breakfast, with tons of seats where you can relax after check in while waiting for your next trip or flight. I forgot my bag in their lounge area / lobby before I went to their restaurant to take coffee. Then was in a hurry to go to the car service I booked outside when it was already time to go to the bus station going to Romania. After arriving at the bus station, I noticed that my bag is not in my possession, when I was about to get my other phone. Because I have other luggages to carry and was in hurry. I was worried sick that it will be lost, my bag, glad that it was there. The staff handed it over, they kept it, and nothing was missing. After getting it, I got an email from the booking app where I booked the hotel, telling me that Amar Design Hotel contacted them saying that I left my bag at the hotel. And they were asking for my contact number to reach me, they were to kind to do that right immediately. But I already got the bag. Still thankful and grateful to their staff. I would definitely check in here again when I get back to Sofia, and will recommend it to friends who are traveling here. Thank you. It was a nice stay, and their service made it even great!

PPengguna TetamuGreat location for travelling, 10 minute walk to Central Bus & train stations. Just off the main street so quiet. 3minute walk to the subway, where you can go 5 stops to the end of the line and take bus 66 up through the pine forest of the Vitoska mountain & ski lifts. We had a double room with a small balcony that was fine. Just asked reception & got a kettle & coffee,& sugar. The bathroom has been refitted with new towels & was spotless. The room carpet is probably next for changing It seems the cleaners used too much insecticide which left a lingering smell. The breakfast was 3 minutes walk to a sister hotel. There was a good choice of cereals, fruit, breads, cakes cold cuts etc It's not luxurious but great for a couple for 3 mights

PPengguna TetamuThe attitude of the receptionist was unprofessional, rude and unacceptable. For one hour, the whole hotel didn’t know how to charge my credit card, as their credit card machine doesn’t follow EU rules for 3D security, thus jeopardising clients’ private data. I wasted a full hour on the phone with my bank, only to find out that the hotel doesn’t follow rules on how to securely handle credit card data. The management kept telling me that it’s my fault, despite the fact I never before have had problems with card payments before. Breakfast food was decent, with a choice between a couple of set menus. The hotel was clean, rooms were quiet, and it was situated and in a convenient location, within 3-4 minutes from the nearest metro station. Some of the photos on their site are dated, as the interior is different now.

NNoi ChaOur stay at Hotel Budapest in Sofia was enjoyable and convenient. The hotel’s location is excellent—easily accessible and close to many key attractions, making it a perfect base for exploring the city. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious, with a variety of well-prepared dishes that satisfied our expectations. However, the dinner service during New Year’s Eve was noticeably slower, likely due to the large number of guests celebrating the occasion. While the wait was understandable given the holiday rush, a bit more efficiency would have improved the experience. Overall, Hotel Budapest offers great food, a prime location, and a welcoming atmosphere. With a little attention to service during peak times, it’s an excellent choice for a stay in Sofia!

PPengguna TetamuCheap and cheerful. Has the basics. Is fairly clean. Location was perfect for me. Right outside the only mosque in Sofia. Now the negatives. Bathroom light was very dim. Could do with changing. No closing door on shower cubical.. only half doors. So you will wet the bathroom floor. There was no window in my room. It wasn't something I thought about, but only realising this when I get in the room. So if it's something important.. maybe check if your room has a window.

PPengguna TetamuA lot to love but some big problems too. Amazing location, great big room, and very easy check-in. Love that there's a sofa in the room and a fridge. Problems: - A/C (Or a pump of some sort) extremely loud from 6am in our room (3) and made sleeping impossible, extremely annoying. It lasted hours. - Bathroom had a bad smell like sewage, constantly. - No shower curtain turned the bathroom into a lake every time we showered, even when trying to be careful.

The room was spacious, with comfortable amenities. The staff did a great job of replenishing soap/towels on a daily basis. The room was always warm, made it nice to come back to after a day of exploring.
